Look at the facts, Sprocketeers! Wendigos are mutated humans that became so by eating the LIVING flesh of those they consider close to them in order to survive. Because of this horrid betrayal, Wendigos are cursed to forever eat the flesh of human being if they want to continue to survive. To get around this curse, wendigos expend as little energy as possible in order to avoid needing to eat. They do so by hibernating for a period of time lasting an entire generation.
See any similarities? Timmy is mutated and eating Dr. Singh alive. It is this Team Sprocket member's belief that after going on a munching rampage shortly after Dr Singh is dead, that Timmy shall fall into a hibernation lasting 20-25 years. Of course, since Timmy's transformation into a wendigo was caused by G-corp materials, it's possible this hibernation period may be shorter, if it exists at all.

Dr. Singh: That's all for this week, folks! I'd better get Timmy out of here before he gets all cranky. Aren't you ready for a nap, little guy? You've been pacing in circles and gnashing your teeth for almost 72 hours straight now.
Timmy: Ha! Not on your life, Doc! I never get tired anymore, ever! Better sleep with one eye open, too, cause I'm feelin'... YEEP! ...like I've lost the ability to tell right from wrong, and I no longer see people as anything other than big chunky blood milkshakes! Isn't that funny?
Dr. Singh: Eh... heh heh...

Team Sprocket Edvard Reminds me of the Movie Ravenous. Never seen it, but it's possible Ravenous was inspired by or about wendigo. The Jeepers Creepers franchise was a rip-off of the Wendigo lore: every 23 years an unkillable humanoid monster wakes up from hibernation to eat people over a period of 23 days before returning to hibernate. Sound familiar? All they had to do was call it a wendigo movie, just like Underworld is a vampire movie. Now they look like a bunch of plagiarists. talk2hand

Just to note, Hibernate is not sleep in the vain of getting tired and sleeping.
