Materials
(You will need to gather these before proceeding to the actual procedure. I beg that you follow this rule, for it is the only that I have):

- Scissors
- Pens/Pencils
- Crayons (if you have colored pencils they can be as both crayons AND pencils, YAY FOR MULTI-PURPOSE ITEMS)
- Paper (white AND colored paper, construction paper will work WONDERFULLY)
- 3 small bottles of water(20 oz, .5L, 1L, but not smaller than .5L... and not friggin gallon, GAWD! You'd need a bladder the size of Minnesota D: ) 1 full and 2 empty ones. The empty ones must be recently emptied, so buy, or grab 3 and drink 2)
- A picture of somebody you think rock (A picture of me will work, for I know I rock, and I'm also eye candy).
- A picture of somebody you don't like that much (but not somebody you "hate" for that will cause you stress).
- Your favorite snack (as much as you want, during this exercise diets do not apply, and nothing you eat will cause you to gain weight)
- A Doll, Action Figure, Stuffed Animal, any toy that resembles a living creature pretty much (or plants).
- OMG SOMEHOW I FORGOT TO MENTION TAPE!!!!

Do you have the materials? go collect them, and keep them by your computer... I will update the second post with the steps and stuff tomorrow.

And if you actually DO want to do my crazy, fun, stress relieving exercise of fun, post in here and tell me, because I wanna know. And if you don't have any of the materials tell me and we can try to come up with a fun, more easily attainable one for you.

Procedure: (This will not work if you read the steps before hand, so if you really want to try do it step by step.)

1. Think about your deepest, darkest secret. Now look into your “toys” eyes and tell them what it is. If you don’t want to say it out loud, you can just use your brain power to send it telekinetically.

2. Grab your white sheet of paper and write, pick a crayon/colored pencil/marker on the left side, one thing that you don’t like about yourself. On the right side, in a different color, write one thing you like about yourself.

3. Now take 2 different colored papers and cut out any shape. The shape must be able to cover each of the things you wrote about yourself.

4. No, so the shape that is on the right side, write on it, a thing that keeps you from being completely out going. Try to keep it IN the shape.

5. On the shape that’s on the left side, write one characteristic you see in other people that you wish you had yourself. (Like; “pretty hair”, “great timing”, “They’re Buzz”… whatever)

6. Now, tape the picture of yourself on the right side of the page. And
the picture of the person you dislike on the left side.

7. Now the fun begins, eat some of your snack, but DON’T eat all of it.

8. Stare at your uneaten snack for 7 minutes and think about it. Think about all the ways there are of eating it, think about who you know that would like to eat it, think about the way you came to finding it. Just think about it.

9. Eat the rest of your snack, and return to the “collage”.

10. On the collage, add something that will remind you of the snack (tape on a wrapper, write the name, a memory, anything that remind you of the snack)

11. Decorate your w tape each of the shapes over the things you wrote.

12. OK collage using your crayons. Use colors that have not been previously used.

13. For now, you’re done with the collage. Tape it up, put it aside, show it to your parents, hang it in a museum, do whatever you want, just DON’T LOSE IT!!!!!

14. Now, the work, write a list of everything that is causing you stress.

15. Once you’re done, drink about half of the water you have.

16. Drop the list into the water that is left. Watch it and think about it, like you thought about the snack. Be sure to ask yourself, if there would be any way of eating these “stress-causing” things. Don’t just stop there though, add a clown, think about each thing and add a clown in the mix. Add a soundtrack; ask yourself “if this problem were a song, what would it be?”.

17. Now that you have given thought about each of your stresses, added a clown, ate them. Relax, play some music, and think about the things in life that make you happy.

18. You’re done for today, the collage needs time to mature before you can finish this, I think 1 day will suffice.

What? Did you expect me to relieve your stress in one night? PUH-LEASE!

Part 2:

Now that you’ve spent about a week thinking about why the hell I haven’t told you part 2 of the experiment it’s time to think critically.

1. Write a list of all the things that have caused you stress since you did the first part.

A) Go through you list, was this exercise on that list? If yes go to B. If no then go to C.

B) You were worried about a way to relieve your stress, meaning you were causing yourself more stress. You put too much pressure on yourself, learn to relax. To help you do that, continue to step 2.

C) Even though you didn’t put it on the list, was it still bothering you that I didn’t have part 2 up? If yes, then go back to B, you’re not going to pass that easily. If No, then good, you know how to choose the things that you allow to cause you stress.

2. As far as you remember, were any of the things on this new list on the original list (the one that got dropped in water)?

3. Assuming there were things that were on both list (which is not a incorrect assumption), take those off the list. This new list should be lest daunting.

4. Set your list aside and bring forth your BEAUTIFUL collage.

5. Look at it, do you see the person on the right side. Write all the things you can think of telling them. (Mean things, nice things, inspirational things, whatever you need to say)

6. The person you just wrote about is the person causing you the most stress. They’re the ones who that are always in your head reminding you of things, they’re the ones who hound you about things you did/didn’t do.

7. Ready to lose the stress for a little now? Bring back your stress list (the one you wrote today) and read it to yourself, don’t say the words out loud, read it in your head.

8. Do you hear that voice reminding you of everything you have to do? Don’t they sound like birds? Funny birds, with cotton swabs in their mouths. Now, how can you take those seriously?

9. Have you lost your stress yet? I hope not, otherwise the next steps are quite pointless.

10. Think about all the things I’ve made you do that are pointless. Drinking the water, whispering to your toy, the snack. Yeah, what do those have to do with anything?

11. Well, you are filling your head up with water, toys and snacks. You need to figure out what those are; there is no possible way that you are only worried about things that are of extreme importance.

12. On your new stress list, go through it and pick what things are “water, toys and snacks”, and what things you really need to worry about. You HAVE to do his, you can not move on unless you have labeled some of those as “water, toys and snacks”. (Don’t try to be smart and label something like “caring for parents” as water, you’ll only be hurting yourself)

13. You are no longer allowed to worry about “water, toys and snacks” problems.

14. Take a deep breath, think about the happiest memory you have, exhale. That is your new relaxation memory. Whenever you’re encountered with a “water, toys and snacks”, you have to think about your relaxation memory.

15. Try this out for one day, if it doesn’t work, report back to me. I will know what to do from there.

Well there's a reason I kind of want you to drink 2 bottles of water... sweatdrop

EDIT--I guess I should be more specific, about the SIZE of the bottles *goes back to edit*
