Logically, this phrase only really applies to certain concultures and the cultures near them, but whatever. How would you say that in your conlang?

"Fpfejinin ahjles aht." - Ft'olz
Lit: "Speak(negative) English I(Nominative)"

Etik ō'English'

"My talk not English"

This is if they only know the name of the language. They would normally just say "I don't speak English", just like they would say "Je ne parlez pas Francais" (if my memory from 12 years ago serves me right, sorry if I'm wrong on this one... spelling too) Basically, they would tell the person they don't speak their language IN their language. If they know absolutely NOTHING about the language, they would say "Etik ō-ūtiktik" or "I don't speak your language".

This is based off of their tendency to use words from other languages and integrate it with their own language when necessary.

(and for the record, I do this in real life. Kinda cool how I just cut and pasted my way of doing things right into my conlang, although I guess that's not unusual)

"Di mi sorrinu dar iyiki dês yi."

Technically means 'I don't speak your language.'
Translated Semi - Literally means: 'I speaknot language of you'
Literally means: '[SUBJECT PARTICLE] I speak[CONJUGATED + NEGATION] [DIRECT OBJECT PARTICLE] language [GENITIVE PARTICLE] you.'

You can also screw with the word order, so it could be any of these:

"Di mi sorrinu dar iyiki dês yi."
"Dar iyiki dês yi di mi sorrinu."
"Dar iyiki dês yi sorrinu di mi."
"Di mi dar iyiki dês mi sorrinu."

Jeu Einyalaweno zabiele.
I don't speak English

Jeu Einyalawenzi zabio iwebiele (pe).
I can't speak English. (If "pe" is used in the sentence, the speaker is expressing regret, embarrassment, or just a general "it's too bad" type of feeling. Not used for more serious situations.)
