Hi!
its been a while since I have posted, but recently, we at the lu bu dojo in M/O guilds have decided to purchase a comission "group shot" of the sensei and possibly assistant sensei (if we can afford it) commemorating our 1 year anniversary coming up in early September.
Since we have started Lu bu enterprise has grown into 7 threads and three GGN guilds, with Lu Bu HQ having over 220 registered members. In other words, its time to spend money.
Additionally, if the art work turns out well, I will be setting up a second comission, likely from the same or similar recomnmended artists, for the GGN guild called "UNITY" (one of the branches of Alexandria).
So, here I am asking for recommended artists, and would like to start off by asking Umaeril and DLASTBIRD - and anyone else, who you would recommend, and post some sample stuff or whatever (w/ their permission of course) or otherwise links.
We are not looking for super deformed chibi stuff at the moment, we are also not looking for Avatar edit. We are however, looking for price ranges, high quality, and the best discount pricing that Lucky Devil can provide.
Truly, this is a strange task...

thats what i was thinking. You see exchange whores using group art all the time, and some of it is very good. That''s the idea I had in mind. I''m surprised that with over a thousand members wroth over a billion gold and hundreds of Avvie art displays, the only suggestion we have so far is chibi heads. confused

There are a lot of good artists there but you have to go through the threads. i did that earlier today.. went through perhaps 20 threads. im looking to spend somewehre betwen 30k and 120k, but i recognize that if this thread does well, it could be a useful resource for Lucky Devil members, since what I might not like, others might find acceptable, or within their price range. The problem with searching through those lists is sort of like going color blind but to art. Additionally, the top artists have a very loooong waiting list or charge exhorbitant sums of gold.

you could always go to request and comissions. post your request, what your willing to pay. i am sure it will turn up at least a few examples. 4laugh good luck. it is very hard to find artists that do large groups... most are usually booked
