Was it the lack of time he had in a day or was it something else? Why had his love for Kaoru dwindled over the many days that he stayed away from her? Was it because this love wasn't meant to be or was it something else? Those questions had been buzzing around Roy's head for some time now and the incident that happened in the woods almost a week ago stirred up those thoughts. Winry was now in the Kitsu world, so that could possible mean that Maes could be there, too, though Winry had traveled through the gate into this realm.
"Maes," he said sadly as he leaned against a tree trunk, his thoughts wandering again.

Kaoru had been laying ontop of a hill for what seem to be forever. She felt it was her fault that she had not spent much time with Roy. Maybe she was being too pushy with them having children. She sighed. She could smell Roy. He wasn't far from her. Her tail flickered in the wind. "I wonder if Roy love's me anymore," said Kaoru looking at the ring on her finger. She lately talked to herself a lot lately. Her ivory fur rustled in the wind.

Even though Kaoru could smell Roy's scent, the flame alchemist couldn't catch Kaoru's. 'She must be busy with someone else,' he thought to himself bitterly. She seemed like the type to be loyal to one male, but lately he had been having scary dreams and thoughts of her running away with another male kitsu. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," he muttered under his breath.

Kaoru got up and stretch her legs had cramped up a bit for laying so long. She sniffed the air a bit. There she thought to herself, he is over there. She walked over in the general direction of Roy. She though kept sniffing the air making sure she was going to right way.

Roy sighed slightly as he stared up at the sky. He still had no clue where Kaoru was at that current moment nor did he know that she was heading towards him at that very moment. His thoughts were on his love relationship with her and also on Maes and his whereabouts.

Kaoru saw the uniform kitsu she knew as her love. She was very loyal to him. She love to tease him there and here but from what she could tell that he was back in his rut again. In her head she cursed the man name Maes. She hated how even when they were together Roy only thought of Maes. She and then rub up against Roy's side like a cat would do to her owner. She gave a low purr.

Roy was jolted out of his thoughts when he felt a warm body brush up against him. He gazed beside him to see Kaoru rubbing against him and purring. It was then that he thought of their relationship. Their very strained relationship. He didn't know if their love would make it through the winter. Should he have tried harder when he was his previous depressed state? Sighing, he butted his head against her neck.

Kaoru sighed. "Roy is everything alright or are you thinking of Hughes again?" Her ears flickered a bit. She knew how Roy got when he was depressed. Kaoru slowly started to wrap her tails around Roy's tails.

He didn't want to tell her what was on his mind...at least not yet. He shook his head slightly as he continued to gaze up at the sky, ignoring Kaoru's tails wrapping around his own. "Just thinking of poor Azura. She got roped into having Mika's offspring on accident."

Kaoru smiled and laughed a bit. " Well she will make good mother. My niece Nuriko has finally become an adult and Goki has a crush on her. Its cute. I wonder what it would be like for me to look pregant with kits."

"I don't know. She really hates Mika, so I don't expect her to take care of her children as kindly as she would with a beloved mate." He shuddered slightly at his words, but kept the shudder down to a minimum so that Kaoru wouldn't feel it...at least he thought.
"I can't image you would get too big. I highly doubt you would have four eggs like Azura would. I am hoping for at least one male, though, so that I can teach him the ways of Alchemy."

"What shall happen if we have all sons?" she said tilting her head. "It would mean we have a house hold of alchemist." She then rubbed her head against Roy's neck. "I miss our nights together."

Roy shrugged slightly. "We shall give one to Edward. It will give him a lesson of teaching youngsters Alchemy, too. Besides, he has his brother now to help him with that." He tensed up slightly when he felt her nuzzle his neck, but he quickly relaxed. "I'm...sorry about that. I've been preoccupied with things."

"It's okay. I have been as well. Maybe for the holidays we should do something special. " She continues to nuzzles Roy. " Yes lets give fullmetal one of the kits."
