So....this was the Headquarters for kitsusagis. Located in Mountain, which is a mountain. And further down is a land named Realm. Well, that was basic enough to remember. Sighing while running a paw through his light hair, Fai decided he might as well tell his comrade this learned information as well. If he could just find him.
Left, right, left, right. It wasn't as hard as he thought it would be with four legs. And he had done enough walking that he was better on the ground than testing his wings in the air. "Hmm, I gues being a kitty isn't too bad." His single blue eye blinked as he took in his form. Again. He found it so amusing to just have fur and tails and wings. Even if he was a bit on the feminine side; that was something hard to admit to himself. Lanky but slender, and with soft locks of pale gold. The mage giggled at his own descpriptions, finding it too funny. Oh well, nothing he could do about it.
Tilting his head, the pale kitsu observed his surroundings. He was currently in a grassy field, following some dirt worn path that in the distance, would lead into the woods. Like some calm scenery out of a child's storybook. The weather was pretty decent; should he attempt flying? It would be faster in helping him find the ninja....

 Well if it was a ninja the other was searching for, a ninja he'd get. Of couse, Zetsumei had never taken the title too seriously, lacking the passion and determination his father did to ever do anything important with. Yet, despite his carefree ways, Zetsumei did find himself training almost every day, perfecting simple techniques and more complicated jutsu that his father--one of them, anyway--had passed down to him. He'd even managed to obtain that ability...and, well, he'd yet to speak to Sasuke about it since he knew the older kitsu would merely hound him for a few practice rounds if only to get a good measure of his son's strength. Speaking of avoiding people, it seemed he'd managed to lose Buttercup in the chaos as well...Well, he'd find her later, he was sure of it. The easy-going kitsu slipped soundlessly from the woods in question, his oddly colored eyes alert, but calm as they flicked about these new surroundings. Yes, since he'd met Buttercup, he'd been coming out from the safety of the looming trees much more often, having something to look forward to instead of merely planning on how to best avoid his father for the day. As he continued to move farther and farther away from the woods, Zetsumei noted that there was another coming this way, and was content to leave it at that. The bright splash of blue against a strange, fluttering garb and pale fur, however, snatched his attention neatly from the woven nest of his own soothing thoughts, and the dark-haired kitsu paused curiously for a moment, blinking as he noted the patch across the stranger's face. Not unlike his other father..the one he'd never met. Sasuke mentioned him briefly from time to time, but other than that, Zetsumei knew his own parent just as well as this newcomer. "Pretty today, isn't it?" He greeted cheerfully with a grin, the metal bands strapped around his forepaws glinting with the light with his controlled movements, carrying him easily closer to the other. "You're quite lucky you can fly, you know--I'd imagine it would be a treat to soar on a day like this." Though, Zetsumei allowed himself to think, he was quite certain that chakra-boosted speed would prove to be much faster than wings, and more accurate to boot. But no matter--they were pretty things, those wings...

Furry ears gave a twitter to the sudden voice, and Fai turned a lazy eye behind him on the path. Hyu? And here he though he was being alert, silly carefree mage. A smile spread on his maw gently when he pinpointed the owner of the voice. It was another kitty thing! What were they called....Kitsusagi. That's right. Balancing in his black shoes, the winged kitsu sat back on his haunches, watching as the other approached. "IT is quite lovely today! Good enough for a picnic." If only he had the supplies and company to have one. ;__;
Blue eye quickly took in the appearance of the other. Well, no horns and stitched eyes like he had been warned about. So they were the same types; normals. But this fellow here was walking around as nude as a flower. Though he did have some handy looking arm wraps there, and his foot wraps reminded him of ninja gear. Maybe. Fai ignored this fact of furry life, wagging his tails as the other drew closer. "Hee, it would help if I actually knew how to fly." A paw ran through his soft locks at that little confession. Blue wings seemed to twitch in a faint apology to their owner. "All I can really pull off is a short distance glide. But I suppose even that is enough to enjoy this day!"
A paw shot out for a friendly shake, while the mage tilted a tiny bow. His tails flared out to match the polite display of greeting. "The name is Fai. Pleasure to meet you Mr...."

Oh yes, yes, as the male twisted around to face him, propping himself up on his hinds, Zetsumei was able to better give this strange one a proper look-over. He was certainly dressed strangely, though the kitsu was accustomed to what his father wore too--and in comparison, there was nothing extra or strangely elaborate about this one's garb. Of course, those flapping belts, he noted, might get in the way at times..."A picnic does sound rather good right now, doesn't it?" Zetsumei seemed amused, the darkened tips of his tails twitching with good-humor.
If Zetsumei noticed the scanning of his person, he didn't show it, instead looking rather bemused at the other's confession. "No? That's a shame! I'm certain it can't be that hard though, you just need some practice." He reasoned, perhaps looking a little curious as why an adult was unable to fly...Well, it wasn't his business, right? Perhaps he'd never been taught. "Had I any winged friends, I'd offer to let them help teach you!" Ah, but that was the kicker. Besides Buttercup, who did he know? His father and this new one, here. Rather embarrassing, if one thought about it, though Zetsumei didn't feel much bothered by it. He had all he needed, really.
"Of course! Much more than I can do, at any rate." He nodded--then blinked a little at the paw that was held out, as though unsure of what to do with it. Though, after a brief pause, he mimicked the other, lifting up his paw to bump it against the outstretched one. Strange. "And a pleasure to meet you too, Fai. I'm Zetsumei." Came the cheerful response before the kit tilted his head to the side, black locks threatening to slant in front of his face. "You must have walked an awfully long way for not knowing how to fly!" Came the impressed statement, followed shortly by the ninja's son taking a peek at the other's shoes on his back feet. "Do those help?"

Fai blinked happily to the other, tilting his head when the dark-haired kitsu rose up. Inspecting, it seemed. It just made Fai grin all the more, wagging his tails like a content puppy. A nod to the picnic idea. "Yeah, with iced tea and a basket full of sandwiches." Maybe some grapes too. But then again, he was too busy to be thinking so relaxed. There was still business to attend to. If he could just remember it all...
Practice? Oh yeah, the wings. Fai turned his head over his shoulder, giving the blue feathers a little jump of muscle. "Shame indeed. But nothing to cry over! I'm sure I'll learn it soon enough. Like you said, with practice!" ^__~ It would be nice to have another winged kitty teach him, if any were around. Well, Kurogane had wings too....but probably not the patience to teach the mage. XD Fai's own patience held sweetly, as he waited for the shake to be returned. A bump though was accepted, since he didn't really have the flexible fingers he once did. Still, it was strangely delayed, like the other male had never done any acts of physical greeting before. "Zetsumei. What an interesting name!" A confused glance was expressed by the mage, his mouth forming an 'oh'. "No no, I haven't walked too far actually. Remember? Gliding helps too!" He leaned his weight so as to show off his shoe and wiggle his back paw. "Hyuu~ They help to keep the sharp rocks off my tender toes." He had to wonder which was better, shoes or no shoes? He'd have to find out someday.

Iced tea and sandwiches? He'd never heard of them! But, to be polite, Zetsumei offered a lazy grin and nodded his head. It had to be some sort of food, of course--he was such a social hermit that he wouldn't be surprised if everyone knew what they were...As those blue appendages gave a shudder, feathers rippling where muscle rolled with a twitch, dark eyes curiously roamed across them once more, dancing almost mischeviously. The other's energy was rather infectious, now wasn't it? That in itself was nice...Both his father (and occasionally Buttercup's) pessimisim did tend to grate on one's upbeat mood after a time, so Zetsumei relished this change in company.
"Ah, yes! It means 'death'." The kitsusagi responded cheerfully, incredibly amused with his father's less-than-affectionate name he'd bestowed upon him. "Ohh, yes, you did say that....I suppose I assumed it was for a very short time indeed." The shoes were eyed appreciatively, the ninja tilting his head ever so slightly to give them the attention they deserved. "Ahh, yes...They don't look very comfortable though. And if you lose them, you'll never build up callouses to keep your paws strong. Of course, don't listen to me...I'm just jealous." Zetsumei grinned, tails twitching playfully.

Never heard of Iced tea? Hmm, that would have to be changed. His own blue eyes trailed after Zetsumei's, landing on his feathered wings. Were they all that interesting? Or maybe just rare in this world? He wouldn't know, though he was just as interested in them. Just not enough to be staring at them as much as other kitties have be doing. Fai gave a toothy grin to the other male nonetheless.
"Death, eh? How charming." Humor in some odd form, ne? But he wouldn't judge it any less but entertaining, especially when it was titled to such a kindly boy. His back foot rested back to the floor, tired from displaying it's footwear. The slight male chuckled to the other's observations though. "Well, I'm too used to having on heavy or thick attire. It's a must when you live where it snows." His ears quivered at the thought of building callouses. Those features he had experienced long ago, and had no intention of regaining. "Ahh, I doubt I'll be losing anything soon. Except my mind. Maybe." But that was a whole other story. Blonde locks swayed as he shook his head. "No need to be jealous. Would you like to try them on?" It'd be no bother to him, and they'd both learn something new of it.

"Oh, I thought so too." The dark-haired male gave his head a toss and laughed, not at all bothered by the subject. Any sensitivity he might have had had been long lost as a kit, and, really, wasn't it so much more enjoyable to find the irony in things? It was always good to know one's father loved them just enough to give them a special name, really. His tails swished idly here and there, the grey tips fading to black, stirring at the dirt that rested underneath his feet.
The snow, hm? Using a paw to sweep his hair out of his face, Zetusmei made a soft sound of approval, another crooked grin settling iteslf across his maw. "Well, of course! No wonder you're dressed like that then." Yes, that made much more sense now, especially those funny things on his feet. "I've never strayed far enough up the Mountain to see snow myself actually...and minds are overrated." The other seemed to assume that Fai was making a joke, chuckling a little before he fell silent, looking quite honestly flattered and surprised at the offer. "Try them? Could I?" Ohh, what wasn't to like about this stranger? He'd never met someone so gracious before...Well, all right, since he was somewhat of a hermit in the first place, maybe that didn't count...

Hmm, what harm was there in a name? Nothing Fai wanted to think too hard about. His pale ears shifted lower to his scalp, hiding somewhat in his soft hair. Yep, a name was a name...and nothing more.
"Heeeh~ This is nothing compared to my fluffy coat! Too bad I didn't bring it with me." It'd probably be too heavy to fly with anyway. What a shame. Fai gave a soft grin to the other, as if memorizing the features of snow. There were too many to list, but the body recognized them in an instant. Snow; what a delightful yet cruel thing. And how he missed it. A nod was given, in complete agreement to his statement. Minds were overrated. His grin only grew wider at the other male's excitement. "Of course you could, and you may!" Sitting back with wings spread to keep him balanced, Fai pulled the boot off unceremoniously. Hmm, fuzzy toes. More interested in this new feature, the mage blindly handed over his shoe to the other kitsu. "Look at that!" Wiggle wiggle. And they came with sharp nails too.

"A coat?" Zetusmei chirped, tilting his head slightly as he pondered for an image to associate with the word. "I must be behind on what's popular nowadays--m'afraid I don't have the slightest clue on what you're talking about." He responded cheerfully with a grin, eyes lighting up with delight as one boot was pulled off. "Thank you!" Zetusmei rose to his hinds to awkwardly grasp at the boot, careful not to lose his balance and tip over as he peered with interest into the hole of the boot. "Eh?" The other's proclamation made him glance up, grinning a little as he twitched his toes. "Lovely little things, aren't they? Now...does this have to go on the back?" He pondered aloud, immediately disregarding that statement to set the boot on the ground and gingerly push one of his forepaws into the strange object.
He was...well, he wasn't sure quite to think! "My, this is strange...but I think I quite like it." Zetsumei chortled, attempting to wriggle his toes and somehow looking delighted when the action failed. "No wonder you enjoy wearing them...Why, I can't feel a thing!" Experimentally, he hobbled about, his gait somehow clumsy from the feel of the appendage now attached to his foot. "It doesn't even fall off! Where did you get these, if I can be so bold?" The dark-haired kitsu grinned broadly, his tails wagging with delight.

"No idea, eh?" That was enough to pull the mage's attention from his fabulous paws. Then again, who needed coats with furry pelts? "Hmm" Fai grasped at a loose fold of his black shirt. "Coats are just like shirts, only heavier to keep you warm with. Mine was really long and so cute though." How he'd miss that coat. ;__;
A light brow rose at the question of the boots placement. "Hyuu. Well, normally they do go on the back. But I guess with four paws it doesn't matter much." The winged kitsu watched in amusement as Zetsumei hobbled around in the boot. How odd that an object so simple could bring so much wonder. "Yes, they're quite handy to avoid stubbing toes. <3" His lazy set, but cheerful eyes blinked while pondering the male's question. "Those have been with me since I left my snowy home. Your guess is as good as mine if they offer them in this land."

The shirt was eyed keenly as it was presented to him, tutting softly with his understanding shortly afterwards. "Ahh, I see. A pity! I would have enjoyed to see it too--I suppose I'll just have to take your word for it." The male winked broadly, chuckling under his breath. Such a shame Buttercup wasn't here to see this too! Then again, her attire was much stranger than this one's, hm? Granted, she didn't have that strange flap of fabric covering her eye...but she had skirts! Yes, hm, most definitely something to privately ask her about later.
"Whoops." He responded cheerfully, seeing if he couldn't still flex his wrist with the boot still on. So very useful these things. "I don't imagine they'd help you climb trees though." Zetsumei mused, knowing it'd be a disadvantage to not have claws or even chakra stabalize itself as easily to surfaces with the heel of the shoe in the way. "Oh? Hmm...I know my father and a dear friend of mine wear something of the sort, though I never thought to ask either of them. Perhaps they know." Orrr, maybe they didn't. Oh well.

Fai could only mourn the loss of his fluffy coat for so long though. Best not to mention it again so he could begin the seperating process. He winked back as a friendly reflex, before tilting his head back towards the boot. Wings shifted at the mention of climbing trees. "My...that is too true!" He never even thought of it, why would he? "But I suppose that's what these wings are for." At least in his case, and he figured other kitties without wings just used their claws. Fai leaned his haed to the side, blonde locks following like a curtain. "Hmm? I have meet another kitsu too that wore clothes. So there must be a way to get them here afterall." He paused and blinked bashfully as his tummy growled.

"Ahh, why of course!" It made perfect sense to him, and Zetsumei stopped long enough in his boot-tromping to eye those pretty appendages the other sported. "Yes, you could just fly on up there--It'd certainly save a lot of time. Why, you could even catch yourself if you fell out!" He grinned as though he knew this from experience--and he likely did. Of course, he didn't fall out of them now...usually. "Yes, my father wears them too...I suppose I've never asked him." Though Zetsumei looked thoughtful, he had no intention of asking Sasuke such a thing. When was the last time he'd even seen the other...? Who knew.
The rumble of the other's belly had him quirking an ear, blinking a little as he put two and two together. "Ahh, that's right! I'd imagine flying is hard work, no? I'm sure there must be something to eat around here somewhere..." A pause, dark eyes shifting back to the blonde. "You aren't picky, hm? Apples, berries--it's okay with you? Oh, yes." The boot was clumsily pulled off his paw and offered brightly back to the mage, tail tips twitching with amusement.

They may look...pretty, but they were still large and foreign wings that Fai was still adjusting to. So for now, to the mage they were more clumsy than anything else. "Haha, that's if I don't hit any branches on the way, hmm?" And that was for going up or down! Fai grinned at the image, knowing he'd stand a better chance still than the ninja. Blue eye peeked quietly as the other male mentioned a father, but nothing more. Hmm, don't ask don't tell. Ne?
The pale male waved his paw bashfully as Zetsumei began listing ideas for eating. "Oh, don't mind that sound. It's like another mind that doesn't know what it's thinking." Quite literally, since Fai dared to disagree with its taste each and everytime. Regaining his boot, Fai sat to the ground with a smile to tie it on. "I'm afraid I am too picky. Call it 'refined' taste. Sorry." He'd love to eat things like apples and berries, but it wouldn't get the job down. He needed the bait to do that. "But if you're hungry, Zetsumei, I have no qualms finding some food." ^__^
