Like...um... Break a triangle.
Snap a marimba mallet when you hit its stem against a bar...(that was an accident, though...XD)
Put a hole in a drum (bass, snare, or otherwise) from striking it so hard.
Those are only a few things, though... I'm sure we can all come up with more!

My section leader snapped a mallet stick when she threw it on the ground....
Our new director wasn't really liked at the time, and he was trying to show her up.
It didn't work. XP

Also, every percussionist has to get at least a few swollen bruises and blood blisters.
They're like a right of passage.

Oh, of course.
Pit cart is a good way to get 'em. I had a bruise for about a week and a half... it's mostly gone now.
I'm never gonna know how I got that sucker.

Learn how to play without a stick when it flies off the drum on to the ground. xp (It's mostly for basses cuz we don't get extras.)

During band, the drumline got bored (which is enveitable) and started chucking their sticks at the ground to make them stick.
The bass mallets were the most hilarious, they stuck head-up. XD

Yeah, but Hartmetz yells at them for it, cause it causes holes in the ground, which are, apparently, bad.
Good lord, I'm glad I don't play low brass in our MB...he totally exploded at them yesterday...o_0 (you don't wanna know...it was horrible...)
Hm... You should almost run down the golf team with the xylophone. XD (I almost did that the other day...)

bounce sticks/mallets off your drum and see if you can catch them! xD Me and the fourth bass drummer got it down to where we would hit the drum and have the mallet bounce off and the opposite person would catch it! hehe It was fun =]
Or have a quad/tenor play put the drums on over their head like one of ours did xP
And the bruise thing is SO true! I have so many bruises on my thighs from my bass harness.... They're really gross! D:

(Atleast that's how i get mine. stupid harness scream )

... Your harness is weird, NTG.
Ours just like, balance pressure between your pelvis and shoulders...and still cause pain...>.>
