For those of you confused here is a sample of a battle thread for you to look at.
HP-20 Taffy sits on a rock in the sun, looking for a quick battle. exclaim you dont have to post an image of your pet but it helps ^_^. if you purchased any items to boost up your stats please post your new stats (items will be added to pets inventory)
for example
Taffy image
HP-25 (instead of the usual 20)

 HP-20 an eevee skitters out from the woods and spots the leafeon. "HEY! heard you wanted a battle" he smirked.
exclaim babies and memorial eevees cannot battle. donation eevees do not use items while battling.
exclaim if someone else has posted to accept the challenge NO ONE ELSE IS TO POST. Only 2 eevees are to battle at a time (for now...i may work team battles out)

the eevee bows and introduces himself. "my name is gambino...this will be an honor meh lady"
as he is bowing a stream of stars blasts toward her as he does a swift attack.
exclaim if you know the names of moves please use em! ^_^ you gets points in my book XD
exclaim roll your 20 sided die to see if you hit. 1-8 is a miss 9-20 is a hit.

taffy shakes off the glitter and sneezes. she giggles and says "pleased to meet you....im taffy." she digs her paws into the ground and kicks up dust as she does a quick attack.

gambino skids backward a little and his front left leg wobbles. "that was a pretty decent hit" he says as he backs up a little more and charges forward with all his strength to try a body slam.
exclaim critical hits (a roll of 20) deal x2 damage and critical misses (a roll of 1) do 1 damage to teh attacker and no damage to the opponent

he was a little off....he could have done better....he hits taffy and sort of bounces back off of her.

((that was a good one!))
taffy had tried to just stand there and block that one but she couldn't. "hes a tough one" she thought to herself. she lifted her head up and closed her eyes. the wind picked up and blew leaves straight at gambino.
exclaim all special attacks do the same amount of damage (unless you buy an item for your attack) fire attacks will not do extra damage to a grass type

((ARGH! eek ))
gambino winces and a thin trickle of blood can be seen on his cheek. "those...were sharp..." he says. he growls and lunges at her as he tries to bite her.
exclaim bite might be a dark attack but eevees have teeth and should know how to use this move in my opinion XD. so all evees/evolutions know bite. as for moves of different types, a flareon can know dig with a tm...you may purchase tms in the battle shop later on. a jolteon can use thunder without needing a tm for it however...tms can only be purchased for a pet if it is of a different type.

gambino rushes past taffy in a blind fury. he has to calm down...he cant think straight if hes attacking out of anger..."i cant do that again...i cant" he mumbles as he slowly turns around to face taffy. he wipes his cheek with his paw.

taffy turns around to face the eevee. she was sure he'd hit her. was that on purpose? cant be..."i wont lower my guard" she thinks to herself. she dashes forward for another quick attack.
