Personality: Starla is what you would call insaine. However, that does not mean she is crazy all the time. Only when it comes to her family does she loose it. At these times, she'll talk to herself, sware the rivers and streams are laughing at her, and even attempt to hurt those around her. When her mind is taken off such matters she is reserved, slightly shy, but very keen on keeping things orderly. Unlike her sister, she is not brave and has many fears...she fears water, death, injury, solitude, company, and worst of all failure.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Pup - As a pup she was the sensable one of her litter. She also had a strong sense of order. If her mother asked them to clean out the den of leaves then she would do so, scolding her siblings for being easily distracted. She rarely took part in their fun and games, choosing to be by herself and thing or watch instead. However, when the tragic day of the storm arrived, she was forced to live on her own, realizing how truely dependent on her family she had been. She made it her mission to find them again, not resting until she did, only deepening the hardness of her heart because of it.

Teen - As a teen she is fully aware of what must be done and how to mask her emotions. She has yet to give up her mission and converses little with other wolves. She doesn't do it on purpose, she just has a mind set that keeps her on track...she has nothing else to live for.

User Image Luca was the youngest of Starla's litter and the only boy. He was beloved by both sisters greatly and seemed to be a bridge between their differences. Though he wasn't bossy or in any way a leader, any request that he seemed to make was followed out. He wasn't greatly smart or strong, but he had a sense of heart that was greater then anything else. He died on that stormy night within the clutches of the rapid waters.

User Image Yis was Ieshia, Starla, and Luca's father. He was a very good natured wolf, with an easy going attitude and a fair sense of humor. He too is deceased.

User Image Mieer was the mother of the litter. She was extremely understanding of others emotions and felt the need to take care of everyone and everything. Died in the river trying to save the lives of her children.

User Image Ieshia is Starla's older sister and they couldn't be anymore different from one another. Ieshia is restless, wild, carefree, and outgoing which would conflict greatly with Starla's personality. They rarely got along, except for when Luca interfeared.

User Image Shanti is Luca, Starla, and Ieshia's distant cousin. She's far younger then Mieer, but older then the three siblings. She was taken away from the family at birth, so little is known about her besides that she did infact exist.

User ImageDru was probably the only friend Starla ever made. Starla was in quite a mess with the puddles from the rainfall, and he helped her to dry land. Obviously this would gain her affection right away, for most didn't understand her strange fear. And he didn't care about how dark her heart was. Sadly, she has not met him since.

User ImageOut of insanity and grief, Starla has come to hate her sister for forgetting their family. She is bent on killing her, and since Ieshia doesn't remember anything, she only thinks of Starla as rather crazy and out of sorts.

Chanced Meeting

Augest 13, 2005

Ary Keeyara

Having left the gold, chilling waters of the river behind, the young female loped lightly through the woods, her ears twisting about to catch the sounds of those near by. Her pelt was rather strange and didn't hide her very well...though it wasn't as bad as having a red or blue coat of some kind, since she did blend with the sunlight and shadows of the forest ever so slightly. Her head was held low, not because of any humbleness she felt, but rather to be able to catch the scents upon the ground more easily. Daring not to wander far from the river, for it was her only clue, she continued to follow it along, trotting through brambles and bushes. Where could they be...? She wondered if she'd ever find out.

Ansata Myst
Nose was pointed downward, as the young wolf followed the foliage. Ears were perked forward straining for any sounds. He halted, gleaming orbs carefully scanned the terra firma around him. He slipped into the shadows, walking in the safety of the darkness. Audits twitched as he heard another sound. He paused again cautious he was new to these woods. Already he had passed human settlements and camps. But before he could assume anymore he breathed in a scent of another lupine.

He slinked from the shadows, following the scent at a distance carefully. Normally he tried to avoid any other wolves, but this time he wasn't in a familiar territory so the odds of being unnoticed were against him. It would be best not to be known. He remained silent as he saw a yellow and black form through the thick foliage. Would the packs here be hostile? He knew these weren't 'marked' territories, he would have smelled it. He closed his strides to a stop.

Ary Keeyara

Though the female didn't hear anything, she knew someone else was near by. She could just feel it...a smell it slightly, though it was so feint it was barely noticable. However, if it had been any of those she was searching for she would have known right away. This was a stranger. Tilting her head slightly she slowed, glancing with violet orbs out into the trees. She had little interest in other wolves, but it'd be best to know where they were...in case they disliked her presence. She didn't see anything right away...he wasn't close enough for that, it appeared.

Ansata Myst

Colored orbs continued to look catching the femme's gaze, he stood still as if mimicking a statue. No fear was expressed in his facials, just a cool gaze that seemed to never let up. He knew she sensed him, he was tempted to run or simply just walk away. And yet he still didn't move, he gazed upon her pelt finding the black stripes contrasting against the femme's ebon base coat.

He blinked before turning his body as if to leave. His head was held in a self-pride, his tail carried just like any other with an average rank of a youth. Purple blue swirls wrapped around his bod and mug as eyes continued to stare. A silence began to weave itself in between the two figurines. He then took a step that would lead him deeper into the shadows and forest.

Ary Keeyara
The wolfess's ears flickered to the side in thought as she watched him stand still for a moment. She had no interest in him in particular...but she wasn't having any luck in her search. Perhaps he could tell her if he had seen anyone that she was looking for...if not she would then know she had to move farther down the river. Letting her ears pull forward she as she saw him begin to move. She didn't call out, nor did her expression change to concern at his leaving. She simply slipped her paws forward in an easy lope, heading towards him silently.

Ansata Myst
The silence was still there, coating only the thicker. An amused grin flashed on his mug, before ceasing to even exist. Orbs watched her closely, surveying each movement made. Out of the corner of his eye he saw her auds tug forward. Muscles twitched under his coat, he made no advancement or retreat. However, when she loped towards him he turned his bod back to her.

Light reflected off his ebon coat, rays touched the blue hairs to deceive the eye. For a split second he appeared luminescent, until a looming cloud blocked the light in which was sent down from the heavens. Eyes narrowed slightly, hardly even noticeable. Auds remained at attention only flicking as her paws thrusted off the ground to continue her lope.

Ary Keeyara
The strangely colored female stopped as she reached his side, letting out a small, silent breath through her nose. She didn't speak right away, her expression unreadable. Apparently she wasn't a hugely social wolf...some others would run right up to say hello, while a few would still greet him but do so awkwardly. She lifted her head slightly, a feeling of purpose flowing through her body. She had a job to do. Finally her jaws parted and she asked, "Could you help me with something? I'm looking for a few...others."

Ansata Myst
He overlooked the femme to find they were roughly the same age, and apparently both not to social either. He continued to look ahead, before following her movements. He felt no threat from the femme, he watched her as she lifted her visage. Auds perked at her voice, twisting atop his head. "And what assistance from a stranger could a she-wolf need?" He said, his voice fairly matured considering he was still in his youth. He turned his gaze out towards the woods.

"I do not know of whom you search for." He stated simply, after all was it not the truth? He was a drifter, these terrains he held no familiarality with. We all search for something. Each driven by a motive, but for what purpose? What is it we wish to find there? He thought quietly to himself, he turned back to where he had considered exiting to only seconds earlier. He began to take several steps forward, welcoming the shadows that dragged over his frame.

Ary Keeyara
The female listened to him, keeping her own silence while she did so. Her eyes drifted to the forest around them and then slowly shifted back to him as he finished. Well, it seemed he was at least some-what serious...no matter what he said, he could be a great help. Her tail twiched to the side and she moved slowly after him as he went, replying, "I could describe them to you...perhaps you have seen them."

Ansata Myst
He stopped walking hearing her words, he turned his head back to her. He didn't comment, that she was the first one he met in these new boundaries. It seemed he wouldn't be able to get rid of her until she had an answer. He kept walking figuring if she were to follow at least he could still cover ground and not losing anytime. He waited for her to describe to him what they looked like.

At least, if he did see these "others" he could tell them the striped femme was looking for them. He preferred not to take any detours, however. Due to his unique coat the human's would trade stories about him and how he traveled far distances. They soon named him the "Night Walker" it wasn't rare for him to run into the "two-leggers" camps. Each seemed to have a different reaction towards him, he found that especially amusing.

Ary Keeyara
As a silence hung between them as they trod the forest floor, she took but a moment to wait before continuing. The sooner she got this done, the sooner she could continue, with helpful information or not. Speaking in the same tone as before she said, "There is an elder male with stripes similar to mine, but he is simply black and white...a female that is mostly the yellow of my fur with red and a few stripes on her face...a young male who is white, red, and black...and then a female who is mostly red with black stripes upon her legs." Though she showed no emotion, she secretly hoped he had seen at least one of them...but she told herself mentally not to get her hopes up too high.

Ansata Myst
He frowned as he processed a thought, the last one sounded familiar. "I may have seen one, however, this was awhile back in different territory, in which is many moons away." He said, sifting through the memories, "A femme, wait... You said black and red, didn't you?" The frown creased deeper on his maw, nope. He could honestly say he none came to mind. He shook his head, comfirming a 'no.'

He continued to walk until he found a nice opening in the forest. He decided a break would be nice so he walked over and sat on his haunches. Nostrils inhaled the fresh terra air around him, it wasn't polluted with scents of human villages or smoke of burning wood. It was different then most terrain's he crossed, somehow. His tail gently bent around his bod. Orbs grazed over the sky as he let the silence fall back over them. He then looked back at the femme wondering if she was soon to leave.

Ary Keeyara
Many moons away? Starla reeled inside. Great, just what she needed! It just had to be far away! Non of her hiden thoughts of annoyance showed upon her features, as she simply listened. Seeing him pause and question again the color of the wolves she was looking for she tilted her maw, replying, "Yes...red and black was one." She said nothing more, though, waiting to see if he still believe he had seen one of the ones she had mentioned.

Ansata Myst
The wolf turned, orbs glinting as they looked into the femme's. "Sorry, I haven't." His cool voice said. He sensed somewhat of an annoyance. Had he not tried to tell her earlier that more than likely he had met none of them? He turned his head, auds stretched forward as they twitched listening to the forest ahead of him. He was eager to continue his travel, these woods intrigued him and he had yet to find out why. It was different then the rest in which he had traveled through.

Ary Keeyara
Starla's ears flickered back in irration. Well, he needn't have led her on like that. Letting out a disappointed sigh through her open mouth, she stopped following him. She really had no need to anymore, for obviously he had no information she could use. It was back to the river for her, she supposed. Before he distanced himself too far from her she called, "Well...if you do see any of them, tell them Starla is looking for them." And with that she turned, ready to go back to the cool, water splashed banks.

Bitter Reunion

Ary Keeyara
Ieshia watched him yawn and smiled slightly. Shutting her eyes, she let her ears fall back in a relaxed fashion, continuing her job of humming.

((Ok, now THAT was suxtastic. *brings in Starla....*))

A young female moved lightly through the trees, her pace slow and careful. The previous rainfall had left puddles here as well and left the air smelling damp, much to her irratation. How he hated the water and here it was all around her. Letting out a breath through her muzzle and continued on, her yellow, black, and white coat standing out rather easily within the wood. She didn''t notice, nor care. There was something she had to find and nothing seemed to be able to stop her.

Yakobi
A sneeze escaped Vitus nose, causing him to give his head a shake. Nothing had disturbed him, and so he came to winder what had made him sneeze. His ears flickered as he let out yet another sneeze, wrinkling his nose slightly. Placing his paw over his muzzle he lowered his head back onto the ground, opening his eyes slowly.
((*fluffs* X3 ))

Ary Keeyara
"Bless you," Ieshia said with a small smile, giving him a friendly nudge. However, upon hearing his second sneeze her ears perked and she opened one eye. "You alright?" she asked. He had been doing so well just a moment ago.

Starla suddenly stopped as a scent caught her attention. A familiar scent. She knew no one in this area and she had no doubt of who it was. Her ears pulled forward and her mask was dropped for an expression of pure excitement. She had found her! She pushed her body into motion, springing off an darting along through the trees, following her nose.

Yakobi
His green eyes shifted as he looked to Ieshia. "I''m fune." he smiled, wagging his tail slighty. "Sumethung prubably just bothured my nose." He rubbed his nose, with his forepaw and gave his head a little shake. Maybe he was wrong in thinking he was getting better. ''The snuuzing stuped...So I''m fune.'' he thought to himself, keeping the smile plastered upon his maw.

Ary Keeyara
Ieshia''s ears twitched for a second as she looked at him, which was hard at the angle she was sitting without turning her head. After another pause she said, "Alright..." She gave him a small lick and went back to humming, for it seemed calming enough.

Starla didn''t stop nor slow from her run. She was so close! After all that time searching she had finally found someone! Bounding up a small ridge, her perked her ears and sniffed at the air. Suddenly something caught her attention enough to make her stop. She could hear humming...familiar humming. It was the song Luka used to sing...or hum depending on his mood. The warmth in her heart rising, the followed the sound along with the scent. She wasn''t far!

Yakobi
His nose wrincked back as he let out another sneeze. Ok so maybe it hadn''t stoped. His eyes began to slowly shut down again, "Yuah..." he spoke listening to her begin to hum again. The smile upon his face vanished as his eyes shut down completly. Ieshia''s humming filling his mind.

Ary Keeyara
Starla climbed up a rocky slope after having gone a little ways from where she began and stopped at it''s peek. She let her white ears pull forward and stood stone still. There below her lay a strange wolf and none other then her sister, Ieshia. Feeling as though her heart had stopped, she simply stared. There she was, one of her missing family, there right below her. She had never been sure she''d ever see any of them again. Suddenly she brusted into movement, racing down the hill and crying out, "IESHIA!" Her voice nearly broke with joy as she called out, her heart rising into her throat.

Yakobi
Vitus shot his head up as he heard another call Ieshia''s name. He slowly opened an eye, spying a figure in the distance. "Whu..." he muttered aloud, although he was simply thinking to himself. Well whoever the other was they oviously knew Ieshia.

Ary Keeyara
Ieshia lifted her head upon hearing her name. She lifted her head, humming stopping, as she looked to see who it was, "What the...?" She stood half the way up before she was stopped by being knocked flat by a strange wolf that she had never seen before.

Starla had bounded down the hill and jumped upon her sister, tail wagging about. Both of them had been sent rolling and they both stopped with Starla half on top of Ieshia, licking her face affectionately.

Yakobi
Vitus rose to his feet, his legs trembling slightly. He gave his pelt a shake and then padded slowly towards Ieshia and the new wolf. She oviously knew Ieshia, but it seemed as though Ieshia didn''t know the other female. He lowered his head, perking up his ears as he inched forawrd a bit more. "Ummmm..." he said his green eyes scaning over the striped looking wolf. "Whu are you?"

Ary Keeyara
Starla stopped to glance at the strange wolf speaking from behind her, her ears twitching in confusion. She wasn''''t exactly sure what he was saying...she wasn''''t very good at picking up on broken words. Who was he? He wasn''''t Luka, or her father...Ieshia''''s mate perhaps? Was Ieshia really that well set? That had to mean the rest of their family was fine!

Ieshia tried to wriggle out from under the strange female above her. Her ears pulled back in slight annoyance. She wasn''''t one to dislike people, but this was very strange, "Yes, who ARE you?"

Yakobi
Vitus blinked for a moment as he looked at the new wolf. She smelt...Kind of like Ieshia, but Ieshia didn''t know her...It was probably nothing. He lowered his ears, it seemed that she couldn''t understand him...But then again his spech had gone back to the way it was when he was a pup. It had only improved for a breif time when he was an adolescent, but as time went on it went back to how it had started. Probably from droping out of contact with other wolves. He glanced at Ieshia, and gave a nod of agreement when she asked who the other was.

Ary Keeyara
Starla frowned and looked at her sister, perplexed. Then after a moment her jaws parted and she laughed, "Ahaha, Ieshia, you''re pulling my leg aren''t you? Oh, you almost got me!" She calmed herself and grinned her tail wagging about from side to side as she removed herself from the other female, "So, tell me, where are the others?"

Ieshia simply looked confused, staring at the wolf before her. What in the world was she talking about? Others? What in the world? She tilted her head to side, "Um..no, really who are you? And what ''others''? I don''t know what you mean."

Yakobi
Vitus stood there just as confused as Ieshia. Others? Maybe this wolf was an old pack member? Someone from Ieshia''s past maybe. But if she was from Ieshia''s past why didn''t Ieshia remember her? He remembered his past clearly, well most of his past. He blinked as he continued to watch what was going on.

Ary Keeyara
Starla laughed again, though she sounded uneasy this time. Ok, she knew her sister was strange and had a sense of humor...but this was a little much. One ear dropped to the side as she said to Ieshia, this time sternly, "Alright, alright, enough jokes, where are they?"

Ieshia''s frown deepened. What was her PROBLEM? Didn''t she just say she had no idea who she was talking about. "I''m not joking...maybe you''ve mistaken me for the wrong person, but I don''t know who you are talking about...I don''t even know who you are," she tried to keep her voice passive, but she was starting to get annoyed.

Yakobi
Vitus watched the little ordeal that was going on, well this was interesting. Perhaps Ieshia was right and the other wolf did have the wrong wolf...But then again would red wolves be really hard to mix up? And they still didn''t know the other wolf''s name. He tilted his head wondering what the other wolf would say.

Ary Keeyara
Starla''s ears flattened back in disbelief and confusement. Not know her? How could she not know who she was! They were siblings...of the same blood...and how could she not know their family? Mother, father....Luka?! She had been humming Luka''s song and she still didn''t know?! Shutters began to run through her body in fear and within she felt a notion dawn on her.

Ieshia had chose to forget. There was no chance, then, that any of their family could have made it. Their parents were dead...and...and Luka was gone as well. An anger, a hate boilted up inside her like hot water. She had CHOSE to forget and leave the burden of memories to her! Just to live normally! A snarl slowly formed on her maw, her eyes burning and her fur standing on end.

Ieshia took a step back, completely surprised by the reaction! What in the world was going on?!

Yakobi
Vitus raised his head high up as the other wolf let out a snarl at Ieshia. What was with the sudden change in attitude? As quick as he could the male steped infront of Ieshia and growled at the striped wolf. His growls however were never very intimidating as he wanted. And now because he was sick, the growl to him seemed even less threatening. However he''d do what ever it took to protect his friend.

Ary Keeyara
"You...you b***h!" Starla suddenly yelled, her fury obvious and rather frightening. All she had been holding onto for so long was now gone...gone! And it was all IESHIA''S fault! Her voice suddenly went low, "You dared to forget them...to forget Luka?! Well I''m going to make you wish you had drowned with them!" Completely ignoring the fact that Vitus was there, she jumped right at Ieshia!

Ieshia, fearing for her friend, pushed him aside and ended up taking the pounce in a full blow with a yelp, squirming away as fangs sunk into her skin.

Yakobi
Vitus fell over onto his rump when Ieshia pushed him out of the way. His green eyes widened as he watched the other wolf attack Ieshia. What was going on?! He lowered his head and curled his lip, he feared trying to stop the other in case he might hurt Ieshia. "Thut''s ENOUGH!" he bellowed. His eyes widened once more...He had just shouted...He had never heard himself sound like that before...But he might as well keep it up, perhaps it would work. Quickly he padded up to the two as close as he could get "I dun''t know who you aru, but get off Ieshia nuw!" Vitus pressed his ears back, his fur spiking up as he let out a growl not as weak as before.

Ary Keeyara
Blood filled her mouth, warm and bitter only fueling her anger, her haterid, and her madness. She bit down harder and twisted her jaws, tearing a Ieshia''s flesh, drinking in the yelps and crys of pain coming from her sibling. Yes, oh yes, she would make her pay, slowly but surely. Her body suddenly froze as she caught only one word "enough". Her ears flickered back and she lifted her bloody jaws to leer at Vitus. She heard nothing else he said and simply turned her gaze back to Ieshia and sneered, "You forget them to live well with him? And maybe others, dear SISTER!" The last one was a snarl as she lunged back at Ieshia with a vengence.

Ieshia had pushed herself, trembling, to a wobbly all fours and was there to meet her attacker. She parted her jaws and snapped her head up, her muzzle meaking the underside of Starla''s maw, causing her teeth to snap together painfully. Starla stumbled backward with a yelp only to try an leap forward again.

Yakobi
His brows seemed to knit together as he narrowed his eyes. He couldn''t just stand around and let the two fight. His words didn''t help, so he''d have to step in. Vitus took a step forward, his legs trembling, he could do this. With a snarl he watched for a while, he''d have to find the oppertune moment to jump in. His ears flicked back however as the other wolf called Ieshia her sister. ''But, if thur susters thun...'' he began to think. He backed up, if they were sisters why was the other wolf attacking Ieshia? He couldn''t hurt her if they were of the same blood. He shut his eyes tightly, but she was hurting Ieshia and he had to stop that. Shooting his eyes open, Vitus lunged at Ieshia''s sister.

Ary Keeyara
Starla felt fangs conncect with her body causing her jaws to snap shut too short. She flipped her head around with a snarl, lugging at Vitus angrily. This was none of his business! Ieshia''s dark ears snapped back and she jumped forward, slamming her body into their attacker with great force, causing Starla to tobble backwards and fall down the ways into the puddles of water, breaking free of Vitus''s hold. Ieshia stood as tall as she could, her fur bristling and her fangs bared. "I don''t know who you are, but whatever this is, it has nothing to do with him!" she snarled angrily, ignoring the warm blood flow coming from the large wound on her flank.

(( *too confused when using two colors, so just uses brown for both* n.n;; ))

Yakobi
Vitus winced as the other wolf landed into the puddles. If that were him, he''d be trying to get away from the water as fast as he could. Even looking at it was somewhat unsettling. His green eyes turned to look at Ieshia, she was bleeding. He lowered his ears and gave her a tiny nduge "You alrught?" His eyelids were becoming heavy again, forcing him to give his head a shake to tell his body he couldn''t shut them yet. Quickly he turned his gaze back at the other wolf "Couldn''t you just expluin whu you are?"
((That''s fine. ^-^ ))

Ary Keeyara
Starla flattened her ears, growling softly as she pushed herself up. The water dripped through her coat, sending shivers down her spine. She hated the water. The fire within her wanted to rush at Ieshia again and again until she was gone, but the one piece of logic in her mind told her it wouldn''t work. You''ll be killed, it said, and leave her to prance around in bliss. She had no doubt this was true...Ieshia was bigger then her, always had been AND she had a friend with her...and much bigger friend. Ignoring Vitus''s question she hissed to Ieshia, "I''ll be back, j-just you wait!" And with a small stumble she hurried off into the trees.

Ieshia''s jaws hung open, her breathing heavy and shallow. Her ears twisted back slightly and she tried to give Vitus a smile, "Y-yeah...I''m...alright..." Now that she''s gone, she thought to herself. She tried to step forward, only to have her right hind leg give out. She winced and did her best to ease herself to the ground. The smell of blood in her nose was overwelming...and sickening.
