 Asami stretched out her paws and let out a rather large yawn. Her eyes gazed around as she thought of what to do today. First on the list, get some food. The ulaya continued to look around until she saw something moving around in a bush near her. Quietly, Asami crept over towards the bush to see whatever was in there. A mouse? That wouldn't be satisfying enough for her, but it was at least something. With one pounce, the little critter was now her breakfast.
A low growl of her stomach was heard whenever she was done with the small squeaky rodent. That would've been big enough for her when she was younger, but now she was older and she needed more to eat. Maybe if she went on a walk she would find a rabbit, or at least some berries. With that, she began her quest for some food.

 Damien silently walked through the forest. His stomach let out a low growl. 'Looks like I'm hungry.' he thought with a chuckle. Finding food was always a difficult task for him, but he could do it. "Hmmm....." he said to him self as he sniffed around. Hopefully some berries would be close by. He didn't have the energy to go after meat today.

The now full grown ulaya slowly walked around in search of her food. Asami gave a small sigh as she looked around. Something was moving in the distance, so the ulaya made her way over to see what it was. A black and white furry thing was moving around. Food possibly? Quietly, Asami lowered to the ground and slowly made her way over to whatever this thing was. Before she realized that the black and white thing was a ulaya, Asami pounced on whatever it was. "I'm so sorry!" Asami said when she realized that the thing she was trying to eat was another ulaya. Quickly, the female ulaya jumped off the black and white ulaya that she had mistaken for food.

Damien was taken by surprise when he was suddenly pounced upon. "Oof!' he said as he felt weight upon his back. When the weight lifted and and apology was heard, he realized that it might be another Ulaya or something. "No need to apologize." he said as he got up and dusted himself off. He wondered where she was standing. He hadn't exactly couaght where the direction of her vioce was when she apologized.

Asami blinked her green eyes as she watched the other ulaya with curiosity. No need to apologize? Most other ulaya would've yelled at her for doing such a stupid thing. A small smile graced her face as she watched him look around a bit. "I mistook you for some food." Asami said looking at Damien with much curiosity. His markings were so interesting to the ulaya.

'There.' Damien thought as he heard her speak again. He turned to face her directly. "It's okay. I'm been mistaken as food plently of times." he replied with a chuckle. Maybe he was getting too used to the feeling maybe? He wasn't sure.

Asami let a small smile spread acrossed her face. "I think you are the first ulaya I have mistook for food." She said with a small giggle at his words. An interesting fellow this was, he seemed much more down to earth then Asami was. The brown and white ulaya was still a kit at heart herself, while this black and white ulaya seemed calm and like an adult.

Damien chuckled again. "So far it doesn't look that good for me then." he replied. "I guess I must looks similar to another animal." Now that he knew where her general direction was he didn't feel so disoriented.

"I guess it doesn't look that well for you." She said with a little giggle of her own as she watched the black and white ulaya face her direction. "Not really, you were just sort of hidden in the grass, so I couldn't see you." Asami tried to explain so she didn't sound too dumb to this new ulaya.

"Okay." Damien replied with a nod. He sat himself down since he figured his legs would hurt at the end of this conversation. "What time of day is it?" he asked. He was never sure if it was day or night. he just kinda went by the noises he heard but sometimes it could be misleading.

Asami's head quickly tilted to the side a little. What time of day was it? No one had ever asked her that question before. "Its morning." She said simply, not really sure how to answer his question. Couldn't he see? The brown and white ulaya had never met another that couldn't see before... this would be interesting.

"Ah." Damien replied with a nod. "I was wondering because the bugs are usually quiet during the day." He gave her a warm smile. he wasn't sure if he should answer her unvoiced question. he could tell by the way she had answered him.

Asami blinked at this ulaya's smile... she liked it very much. It seemed to be very welcoming and made the ulaya happy. "Yes, bugs are a little more annoying at night." She scratched herself a little at the thought of bugs. Ugh, why did they love the taste of ulayas? And why did they leave an itching sensation after they were done with you?

Damien nodded in agreement. "They tend to stick to you like glue." he replied. "But they are easy to hear." He grinned as he thought about all the noises different bugs made.

Asami nodded her head. "Yes, very much like glue." Bugs... one of the most annoying things on the planet. "I usually don't hear them, unless they are right next to my ear." The ulaya thought about when she was younger and used to chase grass hoppers all over the place. One of the reasons she had found her father was by chasing a grass hopper.
