Seralinda hated walks. Be forced to walk on the same ground that strays may have been on repulsed her. Furthermore, all these strange dogs kept trying to sniff her. PLEASE. Like she would ever associated herself with those low-lifes. She was going to be a champion flyball dog, and definitely did not have time to hang around any of these mundane losers. Sera stuck her nose up and quickened her pace, collar jingling with each step.
She would have much rather taken her human's car, but the grooming parlor was only a few blocks away, and he had refused to drive. The only upside to the situation was that she, Seralinda, could show off her good looks to the rest of the public. They should be thankful she was here. Her blue fur was soft and luscious, accented with creamy gold markings that seemed to glitter in the sun. Sera could only imagine what she would look like after a grooming. These poor mongrels wouldn't be able to look away! Sera smirked to herself. Maybe it wasn't such a bad day after all.
"Come on girly, we're almost there!" Her trainer and owner cooed. Sera barked and sat down to wait at the stoplight next to him. She laughed at the other dogs straining and pulling against their leashes. SHE was perfectly trained. No need for those silly metal choke collars. It would only ruffle her fur. That had been incentive enough to obey the commands. Sera looked forward, her head held high and proud as she waited for the light to turn green.

The weather today was absolutely flawless. Nothing but a few fluffy white clouds in the sky with the occasional jet streaking smoke along the blue hue. There was a soft breeze that cooled the suns heated rays, making the temperature nice and soothing. People were out and about socializing on the sidewalks and taking transport by foot instead of usual vehicles. However, Zeppo didn't care about any of this. A day was a day was a day. That's all. Still starving for scraps and stealing from the more fortunate.
Zeppo had just been lingering in the dog park, scouting out the possible trinkets he could snag from unsuspecting prissy pooches. His green orbs locked onto one item in particular. A crisp new chew toy that appeared as though it would have a squeaker in it. Oh, it better have a squeaker. That was his one true weakness. Toys that squeaked in those annoying high pitched screams. Though it seemed to belong to some large Great Dane. Still, that didn't make him consider giving up. He waited for the dog to idiotically beg for attention from it's master before he darted out onto the field, speeding with his fur rippling.
He quickly skidded to a stop just long enough to clench his jaws around the toy and-- SQUEAK. Oh yes! Just as he had hoped. It had a squeaker. This had unfortunately drawn the Great Dane's attention back to his toy though and this giant of a dog wasn't happy at all to see Zeppo with his muzzle tightened around his toy. The collie gave a short growl before sprinting away, off the field, away from the dog park. Thank god that doofus Dane was on a leash or else Zeppo would have had to loose him through the city. Still, that didn't calm his adrenaline. The Rough Collie continued to dart away, blood pumping and toy squeaking in his mouth. Everything was great in this moment. Until-- CRASH. He skidded along the ground, stuffed toy slipping form his chops. The young pup gave a small whine before it morphed into a growl. He got to his feet to see the Golden Retriever who had gotten in his way. "You idiot! Watch it next time!" He huffed heavily with irritation before sniffing around for the toy he had just stolen.

Off in the distance, Sera could have sworn she heard a squeaky toy. It definitely made her ears perk up, but she was quick to compose herself. Sera would not let these other mongrels to see her acting like a dim-witted puppy. She was a dignified individual, and would indulge her playful puppy nature in private or on the Flyball courts. Still, the sound would not cease! It seemed to be getting louder, as though the toy was actually traveling toward her. "That's silly." She said to herself, sticking her nose up in the air once more. "Squeaky toys can't walk." Sera smirked to herself, as though she knew some secret that no one else did.
The crosswalk light flipped to the green man, and Sera daintily rose up to her paws and was about to start walking when -WHAM!- Sera was knocked to the ground with a yelp. Her collar tightened around her neck uncomfortably, making her gasp for air. The pup scrambled up to her feet, mortified that something like that had happened in public. Around other dogs! How would she ever live this horrifying experience down?
With a snarl, Sera turned to the dog who had knocked her over. A collie, sniffing around for goodness knows what, had called her an idiot. Her. Seralinda. This was not acceptable. "Excuse me?" She growled. "You were the one to knock me over, you bag of fleas." Sera hissed. If she didn't think it would hurt her image, Sera would have given the other dog a good whomping. She huffed, angry that anyone had dared insult her. Sera took a step back to give the dog a once-over, and was greeted with a small squeak. Looking down, she saw a squeaky toy, covered in saliva, resting as her paws. The blue pup smiled with triumph. So this was what the dog was looking for. "Well," Sera drawled, turning the toy over with her paws, "I suppose I can forgive you in return for this little toy here." She picked it up and held it her jaws, giving the other dog a teasing look as she chomped down and produced a loud squeaking sound.
