Running to the end of the fence, makoto thought to himself that he would ever make it as he went from running to jogging. He was slowing himself down healthfully, not just trying to stop right at that moment. But he reached the end after his short jog and stopped to catch his breath before looking around the area, he really didn’t to continue but he had to leave soon anyway. But he was sure there was something he wanted to do… so he was leaving to train on his profession, he needed to see his family.

Kin opened his right eye and saw the boy Makoto training. Kin was happy that he was already training and he couldn't ask for more however he wasn't completely happy with how the boy was training. It was probably just him but, he thought that the boy could do better. Kin shrugged to himself and promptly closed his eyes again as he continued to meditate. He would talk to them all after they had trained some. He didn't need to treat them like babies because they are the exact opposite of that. Kin laughed to himself softly but, kept it quiet. He smiled softly and let his mind go blank as he decided to go into a completely meditative kind of form. After his mind went blank he blocked out all of the sounds from the surrounding area and didn't do anything else.

Makoto sighed as he looked around and returned to the supply shed, he would walk the way back before reaching the shed that held on to his stuff. Makoto checked all his pockets and equipment to see if everything was there... thankfully it was there and he was ready to go. Placing his shirt and his vest back on, makoto would then strap his pouch and his nodachis on his back before he would walk to the exit. Not really having much to say, makoto's mind was thinking about the new family that he was going to be living with. Hopefully they were going to be the good sort instead of being the bad sort as he was warned so long ago. With everything strapped down and ready, Makoto turned and left the training fields for his new home... Jaron was waiting for him.

Urza watched as another person entered the grounds. This one seemed a bit older than the student there. She assumed he had to be some form of instructor. However he seemed to just be letting the students... No she wasn't a student anymore... She was a genin. He was letting the genin do as they pleased at least for the time being. Urza watched as Makoto finished his running and decided it was best she not sit around idly. It had been quite a long time since Urza had done some serious training, but she figured it was about time to get into the swing of things.

The young girls blond hair waved in the air. Like frozen strands of light caught in the wind. Urza looked around the grounds. It was much like the meadow she had trained in previously only much more beat up. Urza brandished her lance and shield and made her way to a tree. She would use all of her might to strike the tree down. Urza took stance, her body hidden behind the great surface of her shield while her lance took an offensive stance forward. Taking a deep breath Urza rotated her back foot shoving her lance forward with all her might.

Urza felt her lance make contact with the surface of the tree, but as she followed through with the strike she felt the wood splinter and give way. Urza continued backing all of her power behind her thrust and the wood shattered and snapped with loud cracks and booms. Urza felt he lance finally come to a stop as it broke through the other side of the tree. If it had been a direct hit on the trunk Urza would not have been surprised to see the tree fall. However with the way she attacked all that happened was blowing a good chunk out of the side of the tree. Urza was still very proud of that as she pulled her lance back getting ready to strike again/

Miyako stretched as she entered the team training grounds. Was she a part of team one? They never really said. With all the action going on they must have had other concerns... damn politics. She thought the Otobe were doing quite well at keeping the peace, but others seemed to disagree. Now Otogakure was thrown back into turmoil. What a curse... how can they strive to make Oto a respectable country when all they wanted was to fight over each other? Someday she would have to give everyone a piece of her mind. She held onto the cloth strapped over her shoulder and pulled the wrapped puppet on her back up, making herself a little more comfortable. She spotted a few people training here.

She hadn't seen much of anyone, she had been busy on a local mission. She asked about her genin exam, and they agreed that upon completion of the mission, they would use it as a form of test. When she returned, she recieved her headband and tied it across her right forearm. She took the original purple cloth over the other ones. She wondered if they still had that tacky rope for those 'special' cases. She hadn't seen many around, so maybe they got rid of them...

She spotted Urza in the distance training and thought that she would pay her friend a visit. "Hello Urza! Long time no see! How was the genin exam? Did you kill the proctor and take the headband from him?" she asked jokingly, though it could be possible. Miyako dropped the bundle to the ground. Perhaps I should do some training... hm... but what...?

Urza took a deep breath getting ready to take another blow at the tree. Her muscles tensing Urza sharply inhaled, thrusting her lance forward. At the last moment however something caught her ear, it was the sound of an old friend. The lance lightly grazed the tree before reflecting off and causing the girl to stumble a bit. Urza caught her balance and turned to face the voice. "Maker shine on us! Miyako!" Urza squealed with glee. The Knight was very happy to see her friend. Miyako was one of the first people Urza had met when enrolling in Oto, and she had quickly gained Urza's respect as a fighter and a friend. Urza gave a hardy laugh as Miyako picked a bit of fun at Urza's strength.

"I'm surprised I got it at all to tell you the truth." Urza looked at the metal band with the music note now tied around her right bicep. "The test was only that ninja magic stuff... Not really my strong suite." Urza looked up to the sky thinking back to the test. She had failed horribly on the question section, and looked like a novice compared to everyone else when it came to the ninjutsu. Urza gave a smile looking back at Miyako. Without even a blink Urza slammed her lance into the ground taking a swing at the tree with her fist, smashing off a good bit of bark and some of the inner tree. "But there was a spar at the end for extra credit. I knocked my opponent out in one hit." Urza chuckled a bit pulling her lance from the ground.

Miyako seemed to have something strapped to her back. It must have been one of those puppets she had been talking about. Urza was a bit curious to see how it worked, but she was sure that she would be able to see it in action in no time at all.

A smile spread across Miyako's face as her friend called out her name. It made smile wider as she witnessed Urza's mood sky rocket. Urza told Miyako how the first part of the test was, explaining it in her own words. It was adorable how she spoke. Miyako couldn't help but laugh when her prediction proved true, by taking out the opponent in one hit. "Ha ha, wish I could have seen it. Gave him a serving of God's Will, did ya? I wonder if he is able to stand yet...?"

She shook her head and pulled out a book from her pack, "Well I always knew you'd have it in you. Besides, if they wouldn't give it to you, you could always knock them out and take it yourself." She propped open the book and began skimming the first page. She had just grabbed a random book from the shelf and decided she would try her best to read it. Well she had no idea what half the words meant. Well this ought to be fun... She lifted her eyes from the page to look at Urza, "You still haven't taken that armor off, have you?" It was almost freakish that she always wore that suit of metal, always strengthening herself. At least she would never have to worry about dying out on the field. Maybe it was time she learned some more medical ninjutsu, so as to help her. Yeah, that's what I'll do.

Urza smiled resting the tip of her lance on the ground. A great big grin sweeping across her face. "Yeah I made sure not to kill him. He may be walking with a limp for a while though." Urza said this in a joking fashion, however it was very true, had she thrown another punch the poor fellow would most likely have died. Urza didn't become a dragoon at her age by pulling punches. Urza fixed up her equipment getting ready to take another strike at the tree. Urza thrusted her lance forwards but as it made contact with the tree the tip of the lance glanced off, making contact with an axe that the tree had grown around.

Urza pulled back the lance for another strike, and once again hit the axe. Urza nearly lost balance and tumbled forwards but she was able to maintain stance and pulled her lance back to resting point. Urza flashed a smirk as Miyako insinuated that she could have just knocked out the teacher and stolen it. "I'm not so sure about that... Besides, than it wouldn't have been rightly earned, and I wouldn't be on your team." Urza felt the warm sun on her face, and the breeze rolling through the trees. It was a beautiful day outside. And now that she was reunited with Miyako Urza felt a bit more at home. "Looks like you finished your weapon. Can't wait to see it in action," Urza winked, "If you ever want a sparing partner."

Miyako looked back down at the page and skimmed the information. The information seeped into her brain, and her knowledge base began growing. A small smile crossed her face as Urza spoke. She missed being by her friends and the good old days. Urza training and kicking a**. Seeing her try to lance the tree made her want to kick something... hard. Miyako licked the tip of her finger and turned the page, reading it over.

"I suppose it would be a downer without me, huh?" she teased. Urza mentioned not being able to wait to see it in action. Miyako turned slightly pink and began rubbing the back of her neck nervously, "Well, I'm still a bit rusty, but yeah... sure. I suppose it would be a fun time." She grabbed the book and lifted up, hiding her face in the book. She tried reading the page, but it was an epic fail. Every word she read escaped her mind, not even staying in her head.

Urza nodded as she silently struck the tree again. The lance struck dead center of the tree, however there must have been another weapon dug into the tree because Urza felt the ripples of resistance run up her arm. Urza tugged on the steel weapon but felt it resist being pulled out. It seemed that her attack had lodged the tip in enough that it was stuck. Urza sighed giving it a few more tugs. Urza pulled with all of her might before slipping on the ground.

A little frustrated Urza stood up and rushed forward slamming the tree with her shield, loosing her lance out of the tree and leaving a good sized dent. Urza laughed a bit in triumph. She had done a good number on the tree, and she felt a bit bad. But hey, it was all part of the training. "I wonder." Urza looked up for a bit with a smile, "I wonder where He will take us next." Urza took a deep breath. It reminded her of her time when she first came to this land. She was happy she could develop the way she was with a great friend by her side.

Miyako looked down at her book trying to read the pages, but her mind was elsewhere, still unable to comprehend what she was reading. She noticed that Urza was also having some problems. Miyako closed the book and walked over to her "Trying balancing out your whole body not just your arm. Maybe that will help you out." Not that she needed her help but Miyako was always willing. Perhaps they should spar. It would be a nice practice.

She opened the book and looked at the pages. Nothing was seeming to stick in her memory. She closed the book again, leaving her finger in it to keep her page, "Perhaps I'll take you up on that offer, once you're done that is. I could use a little warm-up." She grabbed the bundle and began working at the bindings until the puppet was sitting on the ground. Miyako grabbed the puppet by the body and leaned it against another tree. She moved the bladed arms, the head, and every joint to make sure it was in working order. Nothing seemed to be broken or fixing, so she left it sit there.

Hoshi walked onto the field with a book already in her hand and a smile on her face. She had liked the book it was quite insightful so far but, after reading the first chapter she hadn't really found anything she didn't know. She didn't mind though, it was still a good book. She would just have to look at the next few chapters to see if it got worse or better. If she didn't find something soon that she didn't already know then she would put a way. Hoshi really didn't want this book to be filled with a bunch of useless information that she already knew. She smiled a bit and continued to read.

As she continued through the book, again she found really no useful information. The book started to look like it was going to be bad because she couldn't actually find anything she didn't already know. She shrugged and continued to read the book almost as if she was compelled to read it. Hoshi smiled as she walked around with the book and continued to read it. Every once in a while she would look up to see the other genin training or doing something else. After seeing what the others were doing, she would quickly look back at the book. The passages were in a form of a biography even though she probably really couldn't call it that. It was more the history of Otogakure, than about a single person.

Hoshi tripped a bit as she continued to walk and lost her place in the book. It took her a few seconds to get back to the place that she was reading but, yet again there was no useful information at all. She didn't even know that much about Otogakure and yet this book wasn't all that useful. The book felt completely repetitive to her, like it was just saying the same thing over and over again. Hoshi continued reading however so that she could try and find something that might be a little useful. She shrugged and looked around after she had gotten a little bored but, Hoshi quickly turned her attention back to the book as she thought she had saw something that she didn't know but, she did know it after all.

The book actually started to become quite boring for Hoshi. The book just didn't have any information that she didn't know. She was only on the second chapter of the twenty chapter book so of course there was a good chance that there was much to learn. With this thought in mind Hoshi kept the book out and skipped ahead a bit to the third chapter because she felt that she wasn't going to gain any knowledge at all from the second chapter. Hoshi sighed with a sigh of relief as the third chapter seemed to cover a subject that she didn't know all that well.

The third chapter wasn't being helpful at all. Hoshi really did think that it would be at least a little helpful. To try and fasten her reading she started to skim the chapter. It didn't take her more then a couple minutes to completely go through the whole chapter just to realize that the chapter had nothing to offer her. She was honestly starting to feel a little discouraged by the book, as it wasn't giving her anything. Nothing at all. She was just about to shut the book and put it away when the title of the fourth chapter caught her eye. Wars with Konoha, the chapter title read.

Hoshi didn't know much about the wars so it kind of interested her to actually delve into this chapter and read it completely. She stopped walking as she walked and this subject actually was tossing up a great amount of knowledge. Like that Orochimaru had devised incredible plans, well she thought they were incredible anyways. As she continued to read through the chapter she started to find that the wars were incredible with all of the things that happened. Some of the things she didn't completely understand, like something called a curse seal? She didn't know what that was but, it sounded like it was horrible and cool at the same time. However as soon as the curse seals came up the chapter ended and she was somewhat disappointed but, she was happy.

Just like a good amount of the chapters, the fifth one didn't offer all that much knowledge. Hoshi was some what surprised by this, especially since she hadn't been in Oto all that long. Most of her history was of Hoshi but, it didn't matter. She figured that she was already one fourth of the way in so she wasn't just going to put it down now. She might skim through the rest but, she couldn't just put down the book now that she was a good distance through it. Hoshi smiled as much as she could and resumed walking around as she went on into the sixth chapter. The sixth chapter was probably going to be like the rest but, Hoshi was going to read as much as she could.

Sixth chapter was all that she could really think to herself as she read it. The sixth chapter was just dull and she started to skim almost directly after she started reading. It was more of the repetitive information from earlier on in the book. She thought that the person writing this probably didn't have that good of a writing skill since they repeated, a lot. Hoshi sighed and just skipped to the end of the chapter so that she could start reading the seventh chapter. She really hoped that it would be useful and not horrible like the rest. Hoshi really some what wished that she hadn't even picked up the book in the first place. It just wasn't at her level.

The book stayed pretty much the same through out the new seventh chapter. It wasn't looking so good for the new chapter so far. She didn't find really anything that was helpful. She did find some new things but, they weren't helpful at all to her. The things she did find out she didn't pay attention to as she didn't care about it at all. So, when she got to the end of the chapter she considered the seventh chapter as a waste of time as she didn't actually learn anything she wanted to. Hoshi sighed softly and flipped a page to the eighth chapter. This chapter actually looked a little promising.

Hoshi smiled as she thought she learned something new but, as she looked back in her head she saw that she already knew it. Her smile faded a bit but, she kept on reading. Even though the book was getting annoying, she wanted to finish the book so that she didn't have to read anymore of it and so that she could just say she was finished with it. As the chapter finished, Hoshi knew that she didn't learn anything from it but, the chapter seemed to go towards something that she didn't know all that well about. She flipped another page and looked at the ninth chapter. The title sounded interesting enough. The reclamation, It sounded new to her. She had heard something about that but, she didn't know much about it.

The ninth chapter actually did have some information that Hoshi found useful. It was mainly recent history but, she didn't care if it was from a thousand years ago. All she cared about was the fact that she managed to learn something from this book that she really didn't think had anything to teach. Of course she was proven wrong and did learn something. Being proven wrong wasn't a bad thing for her. It actually made her pretty happy that she was able to learn something from the book. Hoshi smiled a bit as the chapter finished and she was excited for the next chapter. Hoshi looked around a bit as she flipped the page and quickly put her head back down at the page. The tenth chapter seemed to be just more information on what the ninth talked about but, she only read the title.

Just like Hoshi thought, the tenth chapter was just expanding on the ninth chapter but, it didn't provide any information that she thought was useful. The tenth was pretty much just repeating the ninth chapter so it wasn't all that helpful. Hoshi didn't like the fact that it wasn't helpful so she just skimmed the rest of the chapter to make sure there was nothing else. Of course there was nothing else and she was already ready to go onto the eleventh chapter. As she flipped the last page she got a small paper cut and it stung a little but, it wasn't that bad so she just ignored it. Hoshi didn't think that she had time to go take care of it. She smiled softly and looked at the first page of the eleventh chapter and she hoped it would be useful.

This new chapter looked a little promising but, once Hoshi had flipped the page to actually look at the chapter, she realized that it wasn't promising at all. She was half tempted to just skip the chapter entirely. Hoshi skimmed the first three pages of the chapter and decided that it wasn't worth reading at all. It was all things that she already knew so she just flipped through all of the pages until she got to chapter twelve. Chapter twelve looked a little promising but, Hoshi wasn't prepared to actually learn anything new. However she could be wrong.

Hoshi flipped the first page and skimmed the first few parts of it. The first page was mostly what was actually going to be in the chapter and nothing else. Once Hoshi onto the second page, she was hit with a good amount of knowledge. She was wrong after all and she smiled as the chapter pulled her in, in a way. She just kept reading and reading until she reached the end of the chapter. The chapter was shorter then most of the others and she felt kinda disappointed that it was so short. She didn't mind though as learning the new things had made up for it. Hoshi quickly flipped to the thirteen chapter and was all excited for it.

The thirteenth chapter was supposed to be super exciting for Hoshi but, after looking at it, she realized that it was on the exact same subject as the first. That made her a little mad but, she didn't show it. Instead she just calmly flipped through out the entire chapter until she got to the end of the chapter. Hoshi didn't even bother skimming, as she knew that she probably wouldn't learn anything from the chapter at all. Hoshi sighed a sigh of relief as she got to the end of the chapter. Chapter thirteen was just a bust for her and she was happy to get onto the fourteenth chapter so that she could just be done the whole experience faster.

The fourteenth chapter seemed to be a little promising but right off the bat, Hoshi was already wanting to just skip the whole thing. Hoshi thought about it for a minute and figured that the book didn't have much to tell and the fourteenth chapter just seemed like it was going to be bad, so she just flipped through the pages. Hoshi continued to flip through the pages until she reached the end of the chapter. Just like she thought, the chapter had nothing to offer, like most of the book hadn't so far. Hoshi was pretty much completely discouraged so far but, she wasn't going to stop reading the book as her hunt for knowledge was too great.
