Field of honor 2 (the new battleground)

[Angel of the Silver Snow]

She smiled at him, "Me too", was all she said as she dropped her barrior and then in an instant disappeared. "This might not be anything new, but you cannot hit the wind. You can swing and try to slice it all you want but the thing about wind...it moves and goes around whatever tries to hit it", she said, her voice echoing off the air around the entire arena. The wind is everywhere, she thought.

"But one can control the wind...humans do it all the time." He said exiting his sheild, and smiled. He looked down at the ground, "Im sorry Falcon, and Gentra." He said softly bending over and removed the weights on his ankles lifting them to his chest and dropped them. Both fell deep into the battle ground making huge deep holes. Mathias smiled and looking at the torches the lit the playing feild. Smiling he reached both his hands towards two of them. They both flew to his hand he started spinning them rapidly not letting the flames go out. As he spinned them he used his mind to make a flaming tunnel of controled wind reaching out and pulling in the wind and air the was in the area.

Runa had seen him take off the wieghts and gasped inwardly, what in the world was he?...He goes around with weights on his body...even starts a battle with them...She felt herself grow slightly upset at first but quickly calmed down. The air was growing warm and she flew down near to the ground as she positioned herself just above the ground and with a large wave of her hand she scooped up a large hole out of the earth flinging it at the Mathais and the fire he was controling.

Mathias smiled at her reaction when she saw the weights. He could tell what it was cause he looked into her mind. He threw one of the torches to the side as it continued to spin continuing you make the tunnel. He moved his hand infront of him stopping the earth she threw at him. "Please dont think im that weak? Those weights, there are at least another hundred inside my body." He said showing her his wrists, "These just came out about a day or two ago, and each weight about the same as those two i took off." He said smiling slightly, "They make my mind weaker and keep my body together, controling the energy and powers of an entire village of ninjas."

Runa gaped for a moment before composing herself. "I don't think your weak Mathias. You're really strong. A more than worthy opponent", she said with a smile. She the started scoopiing up and throwing more dirt into the air until there was nothing but a cloud over the entire area. "Let's see how you can do if you can't see or sense me", she said before she started to move towards him using the spikes in the ground not to get pulled into the fire. If she got close enough she would dump more dirt over the fires to put them out before she attacked him.

Mathias laughed and made his blades that were spreadout throughout the area fly right at her. "I am able to see you, because you are useing your mind. If you silence your mind it will be harder for me, but there is good news, your not weak minded. If you were I would be able to control your body." Mathias said still making the tunnel of fire and began to turn it towards her location.

Runa turned and flew up high wiping sweat off her face. She looked dodwn trying to come with a plan. Her best choice was a frontal assult but at the moment the fires and spikes kept her at a distance. She looked at the swirling tunnels of fire that were coming at her and she saw the long tunnel going down the center of the vortex and and cringed but kept her thoughts hidden. She started a dive into at one of the vortexs'. This is crazy! She thought as she let her wind spirit go becoming fully human just at the top of the fire so she wouldn't be sucked in. She fell through the center of the fire drawing her sword pressing the end down. Her clothes began to singe and her skin began to tingle but she couldn't stop now. She was falling down quickly towards Mathias. Would he drop the fire? Or would he let his hand be chopped off. She just hoped she would be able to use her wind spirit enough to slightly cushion her fall.

Seeing what she was doing Mathias smiled and made the spiked from the ground rise up infront of him and completely cutting her exit off from. "Your going to need to do something better then that Runa. That action was and is very dangerious." He said loud enough for her to hear. He quickly made the blades from his katana become part of the vortex. Turning to red hot tiny blades that were still as sharp as ever.

Runa flinched in pain as she felt blades cut into her skin leaving for the most part shallow cuts. She continued on and with a giant burst of power let her wind spirit expolde from within her sending out a powerful shockwave to push back the fire and blades from her body so she could get closer. "It's...not...reckless", she said breathlessly as she worked her way down closer to him using the wind behind her to propell her and using it to keep a barrior around her to keep most of the fire and blades away from her. It took alot of strength, so maybe it was risky in that way, but she had to be close up to attack him. She wasn't that far away from him anymore as she took her sword and started sending out inviable arrows or wind out of it. If he thought that they were harmless or less sharp because they were made up of wind, he would be wrong, deadly wrong.

The spikes that were cutting off her exit wrapped themselves around him and pulled him into the ground as the vortex and blades continued. The spikes pushed him back up out of the ground a few feet away. Mathias laughed after taking a deep breath. "These things wont allow me to get hurt." He said breathing heavy from being taken underground. He made the votex close in on her, her barrior would protect from dying but shouldnt be able to keep her form being cut and or burned.

Runa continued to be pummeled by fire and blades in the fire. Having enough she pulled on the air in the fire and the air from around herself and pushed herself out of the vortex. After she had gotten a distance away she breathed heavily and looked down at her charred clothes and body. Maybe that was too much of a risk... She stood on the ground as a human and fully visable. She kept a barrior around herself for protection as she looked to Mathias.

((this is going to be weird, im not going to add the two weights that are now on my rpc's wrists.))


Mathias smiled and laughed, "You shouldnt of tried to do something that risky." He stared at her while smiling, "I will allow you to do the next move. Afterall these wont allow me to die." He shook his head still smiling. The vortex of fire went out as if it was never there and the blades quickly went back into thousands of katanas surrounding the battle grounds not being able to be touched by Runa and waiting for Mathias to use them.

Runa nodded and gave a small laugh, "It was risky but worth a shot...and I learned a couple of things while I was in the vortex", she said as she drove her sworn into the ground and held one hand up to the sky palm up. Wind started crcling in front of her faster and faster until it formed a cyclone. The wind turned dark as it increased in size and speed until a gaint tornado stood in front of her. Her hair wipped forward as well as her clothes but her barrier kept her feet implanted. She wobbled back a little after using so much strength before admiring her creation as it grew and started to pull things into it, anything nearby.She then started pulling wind out of the air from behind her using it to give her more strength.

Mathias laughed slightly, and allowed all the katanas to be pulled into the tornado. Even the ones behind her meaning if she didnt move or make her barrier strong it would run her through. Since all the katana were been pulled back the huge amount of force from the winds. He raised his hand slightly making spikes rise from the ground and wrapp around his legs. Making his be implanted into the earth unable to be moved. "Runa my dear, why do you think alittle wind will did anything?"

She tilted her head almost confused and smiled, "A little? Mathias, please don't underestimate me and don't underestimate the power of the wind. Even the strongest steel in the world can be bent by the wind", she said smiling as she used the wind to push all of the katanas that been coming at her body around her and into the tornado. She then fed the tornado more wind until it was over half the size of their battle field. The katanas in the tornado was a nice touch that even she hadn't thought of. Then with two arms she sent the tornado on its path of destruction. Runa began to use her powers to twist the end of the torndao to where Mathais was at. "So will you stay there and risk being sliced or drawn in by the tornado? Or will you run", she asked
