Thunderclan Hunting Grounds

Moonstar stood up, all though he hadn't made a decision who it would be, he would have to head back soon....

Eaglestorm was out on another walk in the woods when he heard a yowl from a wounded cat from a patrol. He rushed over to see the cat's fur bloody and patched. This cat was not from Thunderclan but he knew he needed to help him. He dashed towards camp intent on finding the medicine cat.

Snowpelt bounded into the hunting grounds, then stopped low to the ground, not wanting to disturb any leaves and twigs lying on the ground just in case there are some prey nearby. She lifted her head up, smelling the air, jaw slightly open. She looked to the left of her and suddenly pounced. Snowpelt landed on a mouse, immediately biting down on its neck, she picked it up and padded back to where she was. She set the mouse down in front of her, burying it instead of having to carry it around.

Snowpelt looked over at Stormsky and shrugged. "I'm not the expert hunter. I just like to show off sometimes." Mewed Snowpelt in reply. She then mrrowed in laughter, stretching. "Let's make a game of it. Whoever doesn't catch their prey quickest has to... Uh... what do you think we should do if one of us lose?"

Stormsky laughed "I don't know, but possibly, the cat who loses has to pretend to be a big overstuffed squirrel, and the other cat gets to catch them?" he laughed again, his blue eyes playful.

Snowpelt nodded, then sat down. "Alright. I've already done my turn. Now it's your turn." Mewed Snowpelt, stifling laughter.

Stormsky nodded and took a quick sniff of the air. He padded over to a bush and suddenly something shot past his paws, and he gave chase. He eventually caught it and quickly killed it. It was a young rabbit, not the best piece of prey, but he still caught something. He padded back over and dug a small hole and buried it. Then, he looked at Snowpelt, indicating it was her turn.

Snowpelt sighed, looking around. She sniffed the air once more before she suddenly sped off in a direction. Moments later, she came back with a small vole. She padded over to where she buried the mouse and dropped her freshkill in front of her. She looked at Stormsky, sitting down.

Stormsky nodded and padded in the opposite direction, and suddenly was face-to-face with a badger. He signaled Snowpelt for help, never taking his eyes off the beast. He leaped for the face, but the badger's paw was faster and he was flung and hit the ground with a loud thud.

Snowpelt looked over and immediately, her nose was stung with the sharp scent of a badger. She hissed and immediately pounced, landing on the back of the badger. Snowpelt bit down on the back of the badgers neck, refusing to let go of the thing.

Stormsky got up. He leaped onto the badger's face and started clawing it's eyes, nose, and it's ears. He easily dodged the swiping paws of the badger...

The badger roared, it had had enough. It made one final effort and flung the two cats off and raced away (well, for badgers whee ).

Stormsky wearily followed after it, only stopping when it had crossed the border.

Snowpelt was thrown off the badger. She was thrown against a tree. Wincing, Snowpelt wearily got up. She shook her head, looking at her back. She had multiple splinters in her back. Snowpelt lied down with a groan. She shut her eyes, trying to ignore the pain. How come every time she left the camp, she got hurt in some way? She meekly called out, "Stormsky! Can you help me out?" Snowpelt meant to meow that in a healthy, strong voice, instead it came out, barely audible.

He turned around, and limped over to her and mewed "sure Snowpelt, what can I do to help?" his blue eyes worried, but also calm...

Snowpelt shook her head. She didn't know what he could do to help. She weakly stood and mewed, bowing her head. "We should go back to the Clan, to the medicine cat's den." Snowpelt turned and weakly started to pad off back to the Clan camp.
