As always the DCSE was jam packed with people and creatures of various shapes, sizes and origin. The streets may have been congested but Zephyr actually found it exciting. She enjoyed the infinite possibilities that was in stored for her when socializing with a new face. Sure it was a pain for her to find the place at times but the pay off was well worth it.

On this particular evening nothing seemed to draw Zephyr's attention as she strolled down the busy streets, while taking puffs from her kiseru. Zephyr sighed and contemplated heading home for the evening until she noticed to individuals goofing off in an alley way. On closer inspection she noticed that the four were human and judging by their attire they were DWMA students. Zephyr's stomach started to rumble, she did enjoy the taste of humans.

Zephyr placed her hand across her growling tummy. The students did look tempting but she really did care to cause a scene over four measly human. Sighing heavily, Zephyr continued her stroll in hopes of discovering some excitement.

All around there was a hive of activity. The people going about their business seemed to keep to themselves--so long as they weren't disturbed--and it would quickly become apparent that, at least here, the creature's strangeness was rendered trivial if not completely erased. All paths seemed to converge, one way or another, in the center of the city where an enormous needle of a building stabbed deep into the blue-grey sky above. A few buildings approached its height, but even they seemed dwarfed by it. Those lesser skyscrapers were emitting rings seemingly made of light at random intervals from their upper floors in all directions.

From the north of the city came a leviathan that took sunlight for long stretches of time like an ominous nimbus. A small flock of slight, winged demons closed in on it and attached themselves to its flanks, seeming to guide the strange floating beast than to attack it. It was brought down steadily near what was likely a shipping area of sorts.

Elsewhere, a sprightly secretary kept her eyes and smile alight for those entering the main building, quite aware of where they were and anxious for a number of reasons to get on with it.
