Sabrina Lorraine Richardson Future Hogwarts Student Pure Blood ❤ Young Lady
Location : Home
Sabrina wasn’t looking for today’s mother daughter time more so then normal. Things were growing increasingly tense in the coming days. Sabrina knew exactly why but still she remained silent about her talents surfacing. It was only a matter of time before her secret was out anyway although she was tempted to steal the letter and run away. Course that would be idiotic and she most likely wouldn’t follow through. Still a girl could dream.
Walking into the tea room, Sabrina saw the look on her mother’s face. It was not a happy one. It seemed full of stress and worry. At the same time her mother’s gaze almost seemed to harden as she looked towards her. “Hello mother, how are you this afternoon?” Sabrina greeted in her polite way. Although perhaps the question was going to go over like a lead brick. “I’m fine Sabrina. Although thoroughly unimpressed.” Cortney answered her daughter back before gesturing her to sit. Sabrina did so without a fuss not wanting to stir the pot.
“Might I ask what the cause is?” Again, it was a loaded question but polite to inquire. Sabrina hated being lured into asking about such things. It was always horrid. “You may, although I’m sure I don’t need to tell you your father’s genes are causing nothing but problems.” She began as she took a sip of tea. “No, mother.” Sabrina answered quietly. “You should be more concerned about your misfortune Sabrina. With your birthday around the corner and no signs of prospect… you are headed down a path only your father could set you down.” There it was the elephant in the room as if squibs weren’t common in pureblood families. “It’s not father’s fault.” She muttered.
Cortney’s stare narrowed at her daughter across the table. “Excuse me?” She was taken aback by her daughter’s words. “It’s not father’s fault.” She repeated somewhat unsure if it really should be repeated. “It’s not his fault?” She questioned her daughter. “No, he is not mother.” The young girl found herself snap. Where it came from she didn’t know. What came next wasn’t either as she felt a smack to the side of her face. Feeling the sting of her cheek, Sabrina stared in surprise that her mother has physically hit her.
“How is it not Sabrina? Are we to assume his being a squib has no baring on you and your magical abilities?” It was clear her mother wasn’t finished nor was she impressed. “Magic I'll have you know is vital for you meeting a suitable heir. Have you no concern for what that might mean for your future? Because I’ll have you know being a squib is a terrible fate and completely unacceptable.” Cortney was hardly letting up, but it gave Sabrina time to recover from sheer shock.
Finding her voice, Sabrina made her opinion known. “I just don’t think it’s all that big a deal. Lots of magical families have non-magical family members. There’s nothing wrong with that. Father certainly can’t be to blame for it. Rebecca has magic and she’s really great at it.” For a moment it felt so good to get out, but then she suddenly began to regret it. “That girl has nothing to do with this family.” Sabrina didn’t understand Rebecca was her sister. How could she mean nothing? She couldn’t say anything not while her mother was still going on.
“As for every other family I can assure you that the ones that truly matter do not. And, since you can’t seem to remember that I clearly have no choice but to change my methods.” When her mother pulled out her wand, Sabrina suddenly became cold. Was she really going to? “Perhaps a lesson in magic needs to be learned with magic.” Sabrina was officially terrified. “Cru…” “I have magic!” Sabrina said cutting her off. It was the only thing she could do or say that would stop Cortney in her tracks.
Cortney lowered her wand her expression softening as her daughter's words. “Are you sure?” She questioned her eyes showing she was happy for the news but didn’t want to be fooled. “Yes, I’m sure.” Sabrina answered back slightly shaken. “How did it happen? When did it happen?” Her mother asked drilling her with questions. “I broke a mirror and then repaired it… It wasn’t that long ago I swear.” God, she hoped her mother believed her. “Oh darling, why didn’t you tell me?” She asked her voice softened with the relaxed discussion. Clearly her mind was on the news of her daughter’s new found magic. “I just wanted to be sure.” Although it wasn’t exactly true, but what she didn’t know wouldn’t hurt her.

Sabrina Lorraine Richardson Second Year Gryffindor Pure Blood ❤ Young Lady
Location : Home
Sabrina dreaded the day she came home. Rightly so, given the not so happy reaction she would most likely receive. Rebecca had suggested lying about her house, changing the color of her school stuff and the like. However, she doubted she could pull off the lie. Her mother would surely find out about her placement sooner or later. Plus, without actually seeing the Slytherin common room, she was pretty much doomed to have misinformation. Of course, Rebecca had said she’d get her into the common room before the end of the year.
Here Sabrina was about to get the hammer that she most likely would have avoided if she had of followed her sister’s advice. “Gryffindor!” Her mother’s reaction to her placement was certainly not a happy one. “You were supposed to be in Slytherin. Could you not do that one thing for this family?” She ranted. Sabrina stared at the floor wishing she would be freed from the hell that was her mother. Still there was only one thing she could think to say, “I’m sorry mother…”
“As you should be. I can’t believe a daughter of mine is a Gryffindor.” Her mother said in exasperation. Sabrina couldn’t believe it either… more like she didn’t care to. “Better then a Hufflepuff.” Rebecca chimed in from the doorway. “Excuse me? Who asked for your opinion?” She demanded. “No one mother.” The Slytherin replied. “Don’t call me that. How dare you interrupt our conversation. Now get out of my sight both of you.”

Sabrina Lorraine Richardson Gryffindor Alum Pure Blood ❤ Betrothed Heirness
Location : Home
Sabrina knew the day would come when she would be forced into a situation, she wouldn’t want to be in. Truth be told she was lucky to make it passed graduation before she was forced into a marriage, she didn’t want to be apart of. Her mother was determined to get her married off and in a position of an heir’s wife. Apparently, that was with someone named Eustace Chetley, a pureblood of course and someone she hadn’t formally met. If she had a say she wouldn’t be going through with marrying a guy she didn’t know. Unfortunately, she didn’t, and her mother had all the power with regards to it.
“The wedding will be a in a matter of weeks. Eustace is eager to see you.” The words sounded distant and hollow as she sat in the chair adjacent to her mother. “Sabrina,” The young girl shook her head. “Sorry mother…” She said trailing off. “I know you’re tired and we have a lot to do before the wedding. You need to focus.” Her mother said. “My dear, perhaps Sabrina could meet Mister Chetley sometime next week. It might make things easier for her.” Sabrina heard her father say. If only it would make things easier. She appreciated her father’s efforts however minor they were. “I suppose we could try and fit it in. I don’t make any promises though, we have quite a bit to do.” It was something at least.

Sabrina couldn’t wait to be free of her mother so she could be left in solitude. She wanted nothing more then to be alone in her own despair. Coming back to her room, she flopped onto her bed and stared at the ceiling. If only she could just disappear. Eustace was probably your typical Slytherin pureblood heir that was the only way he’d ever be approved by her mother. Hell, if he wasn’t a Slytherin he’d have to be loaded and pretty stuck up. She was going to die…
“Hey, how’s it going? Heard anything from you know who?” Sabrina looked up from her bed knowing full well it was her sister. “Rebecca please, I haven’t heard from Hunter in years. He’s probably moved on.” She told her with a roll of her eyes. “How do you know that? You are assuming based on terrible circumstances.” Rebecca crossed her arms as she wandered over and sat in the chair next to the bed.
Sabrina sighed as she should her head. “I don’t know and I’m not assuming anything. Need I remind you that I’m betrothed to Eustace Chetley a guy I’ve never met.” She reminded her sister nonchalantly. “Yeah that’s great but you’re forgetting one thing. You aren’t a push over.” She stated. “Where have you been? Of course, I am. When it comes to mother, I don’t argue I just go along with whatever she says. It better for everyone this way. Becca I’m not like you.”
“No, you aren’t. Let’s get one thing straight. Going along with this is not going to help you. In fact, it’ll make you miserable. So, I suggest you do something about it.” Rebecca retorted back at her. “Like what Becca?” Sabrina questioned her. “Nobody said you had to stick around for the wedding.” She said with a wink.

Rebecca Joanne Richardson Slytherin Alum Half Blood ❤ Magic Enthusiast
Location : Home
It had been twenty-four hours since Rebecca suggested Sabrina disappear. She was surprised that her sister would even take her advice. Normally it would be ignored but for once she had followed through. There was definitely a sense of pride there for her little sister. There was sadly one problem with her brilliant plan. She hadn’t planned for the aftermath to come falling down on her.

“Have you seen Sabrina?” Cortney asked Rebecca in the hall. It was like the women was struggling to talk to the red head. “No, I haven’t.” She replied simply. Rebecca hadn’t thought much about it when Cortney asked her or when she seemed to be in a panic unable to find her daughter. As she had said there was so much to do. It was less then a week later when Cortney made another appearance that made everything come to a head.

“Where is she?!” Cortney shouted as she barged into Rebecca’s room. “Where is who?” Rebecca questioned her mother knowing full well who she was referring to. “You know every well who. Sabrina, where is she?” She retorted. “I already told you I don’t know.” As if it were a lie. She really didn’t know. “Yes, you do. She’s supposed to be getting married and if you have something to do with this…” With that she trailed off going into thought. “Did you ever think she just doesn’t want to get married?” She questioned. “That doesn’t matter.” She said brushing her off.
Rebecca folded her arms as she waited for the women to continue. “If she doesn’t come home. I will ensure our family remains intact one way or another.” She stated. “What do you mean by that?” Rebecca questioned. “If Sabrina doesn’t show up for that wedding, I guarantee another Richardson will. After all the Chetley’s have yet to meet the girl he’ll be marrying. Problem solved.” Cortney smiled smugly, knowing full well one way or another she’d get what she wanted.
“I’m not marrying anyone. Not for you and not for this family.” Rebecca retorted. “Then you better hope Sabrina comes home.” She replied. “Sabrina isn’t coming back, and I am not marrying Eustace Chetley. You can’t make me.” Glaring at her mother she refused to marry some guy to make her happy. She’d been down with that fantasy long ago. “Excuse me, you live under my roof. If I say you are to marry someone you will marry them.” Cortney stated with a raised voice.
Rebecca could tell she was getting on her mother’s last nerve. Then again when had the women ever been a mother to her. “No, I’m not. And this isn’t your roof, it’s father’s.” That was the best come back she had, and it was the final straw. “Get out.” Cortney told her. “What?” Rebecca questioned. “Get out of my house. You are no longer welcome here. I don’t want to see you on this premise ever again. Do I make myself clear?” She repeated.
“Fine. Suits me just fine.” Rebecca had no problem with leaving home. It had never been a real home. Watching her mother walk out of the room, the red head began packing her things. Only problem was she had very little idea on where to go.
