1 K Post Challenge!

This is a fairly easy contest as I was trying to figure what to do with certain special items in my inventory!!!

It hit me.

A Contest.

I will be giving away specific bundles, CI items and Tier Rewards.

As for what they are, I will keep those a secret. So please refer to the post below for more information.

The Throw Down Gauntlet


As mentioned above, this a contest for a 1 K or One Thousand or 1,000 grand post challenge.

I'll say it again.

One Grand Post Challenge!
- Do not give me that look -

This challenge does not concern the next 1k posts for the guild but as an individual.
- I am serious -

1,000 posts per person.
- I am not pulling your leg -

1 K/Person
- Yeah -

And I will be keeping track of your post numbers from a specific date.
- No Joke -

How ever there are rules that need to be followed.
- Really, No Joke -

The Protocol for Prizes


Rule 1:

The Challenge will start on a specific date so any and all posts up to that date do not count.

- You can wait to post the start date of the contest -

Rule 2:

Your number of current posts will be recorded on the start date so that will be your count 0, or if you already have 0 posts, what better to start from.

EX 1: Member with 67 Posts, your count is now 0. So you have to add 1k onto it. The total in all is 1,067 posts.

EX 2: Member with 0 posts, your count is now 0, so add 1 k onto it. The Total in all is 1,000 posts.

Rule 3:

There is no time period but is does determine how fast you post with other members if you want to reach 1 K but every body will be on equal footing in the beginning.

Rule 4:

No Post spamming and no Bumps posts and no thread spamming. - That is cheating and unfair.
If you need to get into touch with your RP buddies, PM or connect in a chat room or the OOC forum with them. Just kindly let them know that you are waiting on their post response as that will count as an official post since there is a sentence.

If you go the OOC route, do not bump them, but you can avoid the urge to Bump your RP buddies if you create a Gaia Forum Thread post to alert them with the URL link to that page. All the bumping you want.

- Avoid excessive Alert Posts if you do go the OOC route - Thank you -

- Plan Ahead when creating an RP. I sit down with pen and paper and actually put it all together, its much easier to plan when you have something in your hands instead of staring at a screen. Then from there you can put your post's together. by designation, need help? There is a thread in each RP forum detailing what is needed in your RP thread. -

Rule 5:

I will be checking the post count through out the upcoming weeks and updating the count logs manually with pen and paper. So I will know when 1 K has been reached, with that in mind, please do not alert me.

Rule Six:

If cheating and unfair play is found out, you will be warned once then disqualified if found out a second time.

I will ask those who find that others are cheating to please turn them in by alerting me by PM so as to remain as discrete as possible. Please provide as much information as possible, time and date, what thread and in which forum, please provide screens shots if you have the ability too.

Then an investigation will be launched.

What can be considered Unfair if I notice like all of a sudden, you have 100 - XXXX unknown number of posts in one day. RED FLAG!!!! I will dig to find out as there is no way some one can RP post that much in one day.

This contest will be a serious matter and destroying evidence is an automatic disqualification.

Be Honest and Clean.

If you know that you have accidently violated Rule 6, alert me with the information so I can determine to give you a warning or forgive you.

Rule 7:

Despite Rule 6, I am asking everybody to just have fun RPing and chatting to keep these rules in mind.

The Winners Circle


As to the Winners and the number of winners will be determined by the prizes and the number of winners can increase.
So the more time you take to get to 1 k posts, the greater the chances of winning a prize increases.
This may seem contradictory to Rule 3 and in favor of Rule 7 but in all, if you want a prize, the more time taken, the greater the chances are of winning a prize goes up as more prizes are going to be added.


Prizes that can be given and are not included to,

Bundles - Random by Dice Roll
Whole Tier Rewards Levels 1-5 (Currently One Set available)
Partial Tier Rewards Level (What is on hand)
Chance Items that range from a single CI to a value pack
Bulk Super Prize Bundle's
2KXX Event Items - Unopened -
Crystal Box X5
Any Available MC's left over

I will not send a trade request but a Congratulatory Gift for winning.
Only items given in single bulk items will be traded.

But as the ability to choose your reward is still debatable and I will have a decision made the first few winners.

Rolling In Prizes


I was wondering how I was going to let you winners get your prizes upon reaching certain mile stones...mile stones? Yes, that was it!!

Mile Stone Prizes.

Levels of reaching a number of posts. So with out further ADO!! I am introducing how this will go.

Especially if you want a greater prize, dig in deep and post.


Reach 1k Posts

- Single (x1) -
Chance Item or Tier Reward or Event Item

- Role a 9 sided Die -
CI = 1, 4, 7
TR= 2, 5, 8
EtI = 3, 6, 9



Reach 2K Posts

- X5 -
Crystal Box or Super Prize

- Role a 4 sided Die -
CB = 1, 2
SP = 3, 4



Reach 3K Posts

- Complete -
Bundle, All Tier Reward Level*, Chance Item (x5)

- Roll a 100 Sided Die -
Bundle = 1 - 24, 51 - 74
CI (x5) = 26 - 50, 76 - 100
All TR lvl* = 25, 75

* There is one Complete TR, As soon as its won, It will be removed and the sided Die will change as well.*


- But Please do not stop once you have reached 3 k Posts!

Mid Term Gold Prize???

Debatable at the moment but...

It is a maybe but possible to win Gold Prize as you reach the halfway mark between 1, 2 and 3 K posts.

I however will ask that you do not hold your breath once you reach the halfway marks and not to get disappointed if you do not get a Gold Prize - Just keep posting till the next level as I am saving my gold to get bigger and better prizes for you all.

I am also asking those who have won a Gold Prize to please do not say anything at all as it is unfair to those who did not get a Gold Prize.

Have any of the prizes mentioned above floating in your inventory and its taking up space? But you know that someone else could do better with it?

If you are donating a Gaia Gold amount to for Gold Prize, please understand that donating it into the guild funds will not be used for contests, the guild fund is used to buy more sub forums and to send guild announcements. Therefore, it has to be traded.

You don't want your prize but you want to let it go back into the contest?

That is perfectly understandable! Just let me know that you refuse the prize and will not roll for it or accept the Gold Prize. I thank you that you are letting your prize to go to someone else and that you appreciate your efforts in making the guild great.



You want to Trade your Prize?

No problem but I ask that you give me some time till I can locate a prize that will appeals to you. I also ask that you give it some time to think about trading your prize in and rather you want to give it back into the contest or sell it for a quick buck in the market place. Remember that this is your prize and you can do what you want with it.

With the option of a trade in, I may not have the ability at the moment to trade it in and will have to turn down the request. Or if I have too many trade in requests, please understand that I will have turn those requests away as there are too many guild members participation. I can also turn down your request as I am working a job as well and I already have too much on my plate.

As this contest begins, I will have to turn down requests for trade ins as I can be flooded with them once the first several Winners has reached 1k.

I cannot guarantee a trade in 100% of the time but I can guarantee that your efforts are making this guild great 100% and maybe more.



Contest Moderator

Need a job? I need eyes on the guild to keep a look out for cheaters and rule breakers.

However, there are perks.

You get to assist others in reaching 1k posts while RPing and chatting.

You are making this Guild great and are appreciated for it.

You get exclusive access to me but my times when I am on very but I promise a quick response.

Power to issue the first warning against first time offenders. Alert me with a PM.


Then there are set backs.

You will have to forfeit any and all prizes as you are merely assisting but helping others reach that goal.

You may get a less than stellar prize - if you don't mind - upon reaching a goal. - Or no prize granted -

If found cheating or assisting others to cheat, removed from moderator position and no chance in competing. First time caught, that's it. No do overs or second chances.

Second time offenders will have to officially be disqualified through me but assistance in an investigation is appreciated.


If you wish to be a moderator, then PM me and I will send you the rules and what to do when you catch first and second time offenders. I want communication to be our key, rather it has to be done through a gaia forum post or PM's or a chat room. Alert me however!

The application is below. - I will seal each user application with a different seal to verify that you have been authenticated upon acceptation and that there are no people wriggling in. Once you are approved, I ask that you put your request in this thread where I will put the seal on it, Locking you in.

I have calculated that by the first removal of inactive guild members of the year, there will be at least half or less remaining.

Contest Moderators

I am in dire need of Moderators.

As mentioned above, just follow the instructions in the Want to Contribute? post. After that you will be mentioned but make sure this is what you want to do. You can in the future reverse your choice but I will still promise a prize because you are not worth being left out.

I appreciate those who go the extra length for the guild.
