Hyperiona buys the hint and hides it in her pocket once more. Whatever this thing is, it is of high priority to get into the correct hands and not just a superior. She gives him a sharp nod and listens to the rest of his words. When he glances down the hall and at their surroundings she makes the mental note that she was right to treat it as classified materials. When he asks if there is anything else she needs from him. "No, sir, not anything duty related. However, if you are willing, as family, I would like to have tea with you when both of us have enough time. There are not many left to our family and it would be good for us to reinforce familial connections." She frowns as the doctors return for their next batch of healing sessions and curses their timing. She is unused to be taken out of action like this. When things are needed to be done she likes to be in the middle of it and helping. For now she will have to put up with being healed. At least Chuck was willing to allow her to recuperate. This interaction has earned him some respect from her, more than he automatically got from his rank and his relationship with her.
Chuck simply side steps into the room as the doctors and such return in order to begin whatever healing or check ups they needed to do, for Hyperonia. His gaze eyeing the pocket where she had placed the shard once again, as if to make sure it wasn't doing anything that would make it immediately a problem for those around them, or Soul Society as a whole. "We can worry about.. Tea time.. After all of this chaos is dealt with. After all, there's still ongoing investigations regarding the Sanada family that have only been put on hold 'till we round up the culprit." Chuck's cold gray eyes slowly pass over the Fourth Division doctors that had entered the room as they began their regular duties, which as it stood marked his time to remove himself and return back to what it was he was supposed to be doing here. "If you come across your Vice Captain, or your Captain. Tell them I would like a word.. Neither made it to defend the Soul Society, so I want to be sure they were at least assisting elsewhere.." Chuck says, as he turns and makes his way out the door and back into the hall way. "We can gather the family in the coming days, farewell Hyperonia." Chuck says, raising a hand to wave the back of his hand in her direction before turning and heading further down the hall the way he was originally going. He still needed to confirm any other injured parties that could exist here, in order to get a good understanding of those that did, and did not, help protect the Soul Society. So far the odds for the multiple divisions were not looking good, that was for sure. Chuck slowly moved through the hallways on his way through this building, but as he had expected, he did not come across another injured Shinigami. Truly a disappointing thing to come across after a full on invasion from Hollows. What were they to do on the next invasion, or intrusion for that matter, if no one was going to step up and protect anything at all? He sighed aloud, before turning a corner and heading back down another hall on his way back out of the building. With this newfound information coming to light, he needed to begin making the preparations for the future of the Shinigami as a whole. Positions needed to change, and people needed to be held accountable for their positions that they currently had. This was their home, and no one seemed to bother defending it? Chuck stifled a harsh laugh as he exited the building and back out into the clean air. His hands immediately going to his belt, and a pocket inside his coat as he produced the pipe and a container filled with tobacco once again. Feeding the tobacco into the pipe, he stored the container and brought forth a lighter, lighting and breathing in the first good puff before stowing the lighter and beginning his motions back out of the Fourth Division and on to his next task. Sharp gray eyes falling upon the Shinigami that had tried to bother him earlier, as they immediately rounded a corner and headed the opposite direction. "That's more like it.." He says under his breath, before reaching and exiting the gates of the Fourth Division for the time being.
