darkiscool2 Yeah... he's annoying as hell and I don't like him. He's constantly bugging me with PMs, comments, and texts... quite frankly, I'm not happy with him. I'd unfriend him if I didn't think he'd bug me and my friends next... //_<
Akane nodded to her servants and laid herself beside the grave with her sword next to her body, watching the sky as day turned to night. She felt a strange coldness wash over her and shivered, curling up a bit to try to ward off the cold. Akane watched the fog roll in and slowly stood with her sword in hand, making sure that nothing attacked her without her knowing. She jumped slightly when she heard voices and she saw the shovel left behind by one of the servants, then she put her sword on her back when she could make out what the voices were saying. 'That ritual wasn't a release for his soul... it was a spell to revive him! I need to get him out of the ground as soon as I can!' Akeno thought to herself before she picked up the shovel and dug up the grave, stopping when she got close to the bottom so as not to accidentally hurt him. She threw the shovel out of the grave and started sweeping the dirt away with her hands, getting herself dirty in the process. "Zazoe... are you okay?" Akane said softly in a worried tone when she saw his face, then she proceeded to gently stroke his cheek to let him know that she was there with him. She hoped that he was alive, but she couldn't tell at this point because of how cold he was.

darkiscool2 But if I do, he'll start harassing my friends... including you. //_<
Akane saw the bright light shine from within the grave and shielded her eyes, then she automatically backed herself into a corner to try to avoid being blinded by the brightness of the light. She saw a figure moving toward her with the light, but as it drew close, she couldn't help but cover her eyes to block the light out. "That light... it's so bright... if you're a spirit and you're here for Zazoe, I want to ask you what I need to do to bring him back. I know it's a lot to ask, but... I love him... he's the first one I ever fell in love with and he will be the last one as well. If you can't bring him back... I'll gladly die beside him. I care more about him than myself." Akane said, tears leaking from beneath her hands as she bowed her head slightly. "For what I've done... I deserve every second of pain I endure before death. If you're going to kill me, then do it... I won't stop you, as long as I'm beside Zazoe when I die." she said with a deep breath, waiting to be struck by the scythe that she caught a glimpse of before the light forced her to cover her eyes. Akane wasn't about to fight this spirit to any extent as long as she was by Zazoe's side as she promised.

Akane peeked out from behind her hands when the lantern was lowered and she saw the scythe draw back, then she closed her eyes tightly so as to keep from watching the blade fall. She heard it swing and hit the earth beside her, then she opened one eye carefully and looked up at the spectre as it drew closer. Akane watched its hand pull back the hood of the robes and it revealed... Zazoe? She was a bit mad that he scared her like that, but she was still glad that he was okay. "But... but... Zazoe!!! Don't scare me like that!! You had me worried to death!" Akane said loudly, hugging him tightly and crying on his shoulder when he hugged her. "God... I thought you were dead... I thought I lost you...!" she said softly, pulling him tighter against her after saying that. "I honestly couldn't imagine a world without you... I don't want to, either... I'm so sorry for what I did. It was my first time trying, to be honest... I never even thought about turning someone before..." Akane said, burying her head into his neck and sighing softly. She was clearly worried for him, but she didn't want to live in a world where he wasn't there.

Akane was surprised when she noticed how light Zazoe was when she lifted him, yet she still took him inside and set him down on one of the couches in the living room. She took his belongings off of her shoulders and set them near his scythe, then she knelt next to him and gently held his hand. "Trust me... if there's any way to bring you back to life, I'll do it. If you want me to, that is... but for now, we need to find out if you're a spirit. I want you to try to put your hand through mine... if your hand goes through my hand, then we'll know that you're a spirit. Also, when I said I wouldn't leave your side until I saw you again, whether in body or spirit... I meant I would wait there for you until you came back or until I died. I didn't care which happened... I just wanted to be with you again." Akane said with a shy smile, a hint of blush showing on her cheeks. "I feel that it's only fair to warn you that I'm not used to feeling love... I never felt any love for anyone before, not even my own parents. I've always despised them for what they put me through... what they've done to me... they took my innocence before I even knew of the innocence I had. That's one thing I'll never get back... I've only felt lust ever since then until I met you. A lust to destroy those who dared to approach me just to try to bend me to their will and to try to make me lust for them only to fail... those are the ones I killed without even a drop of mercy. The blade on my back has seen its share of blood... I haven't learned how to send souls to hell yet, but I might eventually. I've picked up a few tricks by watching another hybrid from a distance... occasionally, I listened to him talk so I could understand him better, understand his actions to the best of my ability. He was with a vampire most of the time... Airi, was it? It's been a long time since I've watched him. He seemed to have a strong bond with her, similar to ours. I heard her call him Elzar, if my memory serves correctly. He was certainly a strong one... I'm merely a master of illusion and fire. The shadows only serve me for illusion... such as a cheap trick known as walking on water or air. A simple manipulation of shadows to form a solid surface beneath you. As for fire... well, I'm a pyro. The way things burn is almost mystifying... my fascination led to the mastery of fire." she said, gently holding his hand against her cheek. "Yeah, I'm a bit crazy... you can say it if you want. I know it's true, so there's no point in trying to deny it." Akane said with a light chuckle, gently resting her head against his stomach as she smiled at him. She knew that it was a genuine smile by how she felt when she gave it, the first one she ever gave to anyone since her life started.
