Shikai Abilities
Danse Macabra{Dance of Death}
Once triggered by the incantation of Shikai, Grasping onto zanpaktou with his right hand, the entire sword glows with a black and purple rachi and shrinks in size. When the emitted glow dies out, it is revealed that the sword has now taken on the form of a black and purple gauntlet, with a small chain linking it to a stinger-like blade on the owner's right hand finger's {Five in Total}. This is known as Azrael's "Death Scythe". The "blade" is about twice as long as the normal length of owner's fingers, which slightly increases his striking distance. In this form, the zanpaktou is still capable of withstanding an opponent's sword attacks, as the owner can block incoming attacks with the "blade" and gauntlet portions but extreme aim and caution has to be taken in order to do so. These scythes also have the capability to extend up to a five meter radius. Increasing the striking distance. The actual capability of this zanpaktou is taken into two “Dances” As its first “Dance” Azrael's stabs or claws the enemy with the Zanpaktou’s “blade”. The first effect occurs, this effect is known as “Ōkesutora No Chūningu” ("Tuning of the Band"), This effect occurs because the weapon itself is covered in a waxy like substance. This waxy like substance is a poison which implants a dormant virus inside the body. However, the side effect is that when the virus enters the body, it will act like the venom of a spider bite; when an opponent is stabbed or clawed by "blade", it severs the brain signals controlling the neural impulses for movement in the limbs of the victim. However, unlike regular paralysis, the pain receptors and nerve endings are unaffected by the weapon, so the victim can still feel pain, even in a paralyzed limb. {This takes a total of 2 post to circulate and take effect. Once in effect it is frozen for five whole post then it recovers in 2 post.}. However, that is not the deadliest aspect. If the user has already been intoxicated with the "Shi-Hanabira" once at any given time, the holder of the blade may unlock it's true ability. Also do note, that these effects can be felt multiple times in battle. This also means, the effects that are felt are merely the warm up. The opening for the true show. The opening for the dance.
The second aspect and the true ability of the "scythe's" is released. This ability is known as Shi No Warutsu{The Death Waltz}. If owner manages to touch him with the opposite hand, with any fingers {one or multiple} and the user has already been intoxicated with “Shi-Hanabira”, the dormant virus will awaken and relapse what will be a sheer amount of poison that eats away at Circulatory System, If the virus "awakens", it will take a three post allowed interfacing which means the person won’t feel like that have been poisoned or even know that they have been poisoned. Following that procedure, a two post pain process of high extreme will kick in that will affect the host of the poison. During this process the host of the poison will suffer dementia, pain, blurry version, nero-cronic symptoms, and muscle spasms. Then lastly, on the third post the host of the poison will faint due to the “eat through” of circulatory main functions thus ending blood expansion through out the body, thus stopping the heart. If the host is treated within five post {or unless the RPC decides they want to die right away} they will ultimately die. However it is possible to save someone from this poison if they know it is in effect or even five post after the person has “died”. The effect's of the person's body will grow pale intenstainously as well as cold. As if they had seen something quite gruesome that scared them to death. Thus giving it the name of "Touch of the Grimm Reaper".
Shikomori-Uta {Death's Lullaby}
This technique requires the wielder to hold the blade{s} up to their mouth, resting the blades/scythes in a areal motion. Meaning the formation of it the scythes should all being face upwards. In other words, the wielder of the blade will be holding his hand, open palm towards the upwards motion of where ever he may be. The wielder then proceeds to blow in the middle of his hand but in reality he is focusing his breath just to hit one of the scythes with his breath. If his breath comes into contact with just one of the "claws" they will resonate. This resonation will be cause a very loud and sudden sound that has three levels of effect. Although, it is a fast sound motion, thanks to the spiritual rashi infusion what one hears is completely different. The tune is different pitches that are caused by the raishi and the blades. The tune that the make is known as Armonica. However, it is said that no matter where one is or what effect that one is effected by. One will hear the tune known as Armonica. Otherwise nicknamed, "Death's Lullaby".
The first level is the weakest level. This occurs when someone is between the range of 75-100 meters away from the blade. This is the weakest level. For the outer reach of the sound expansion. There is no physical harm done to the ground or glass. Nothing is done. However, a low pitch can be heard. In fact this low pitch is the beginning of a deep sleep. For one whole post a low pitch will hum, then the next post Armonica will play in a very condensed form. However, because the melody is played so low it can not hurt nor harm ay object. However those who hear the deadly melody without anything getting in this way, because of the off censor key pitches that messes with the brain signals that one's brain emits and because it is played at such a low volume, therefor the brain is trying to work hard on comprehending the tune. The brain will override and shut down. Meaning the person effected will have fainted. No more, no less. No harm, just sleep. The fainting will last for three post.
The second level occurs between 26-74 meters, as his breath makes contact to the blade, the blade will counteract and emit a high pitched whistle which in actuality is the lullaby in disguise. This effect can shatter glass, set off car alarms, and causes severe pain in those who can hear it. The eardrums have not been punctured but they are being repeatedly pushing and prompting. Which can be very painful. Those with weak spiritual pressure collapse into unconsciousness after a few seconds of treatment while stronger opponents will reel in pain and become disorientated for two post. It is said while the person is in a disorientated state, they can hear the real song of Armonia. This is when they can hear the lullaby.
The deadliest level is when someone is within a 1-25 meter radius. This is the most traumatizing effect of the ability. If someone is within the radius, not only does the effect have the other nasty effects as the other levels, but it goes even further. The sound itself can push in and rupture or even shatter the eardrum completely. The only way to attenuate the pressure is by opening of the mouth, so that one's throat and estuation tubes carry the same pressure to the rear of the eardrums. This will negate the actual force of such an attack, however the negative effects of the previous level shall still occur upon the second victim. However it is said if one does hear the full blast at this range, when the person has either lost the ability to hear, faint, or even die, the last thing they hear is the soothing lullaby.
This also means that 0-1 meter away from the blade is known as "Safe Zone" for there is no lullaby to be plaid here. This is in order to protect those really close Azrael as well as Azrael himself.
Shihōyō {Death's Embrace}
When this form is activated, a dark grey slim reaistu emits from the body of Azrael. This reaitsu forms a slim layer around him that represents or looks like what is deemed as “Grim Reapers” Cloche. Attached to this Cloche are two grey wings that he may use to fly at his leisure. He can hold form for 20 post. Although, the looks that it gives off is quite terrifying, the ability it beholds is much more so. The cloche is embedded with what most people refer to as “The Superhuman Drug.” This drug is embedded with substantial amount. It is able to seep through skin at a slow pace but the effects that give are quiet tremendous. However, it will take 15 contact points between the cloche/wings and another victim for them to be fully effected. This so called drug enters the body and once the full contact measurements have been made, the drug will increases one's senses to the point that were body falls grossly behind and cannot move. It will make the minutes seem like days. One minute per day precisely. However what also makes this move deadly is the physiological effects. This drug will take precisely take 15 minutes long, as well as two post effect. The drug also decreases the circulatory movement thus giving the body a cold and completion, making it seem like one has perceived or actually embraced the concept of being dead. The cool down is Seven posts.

Handanryōiki {Realm of Judgment}
It is said that the more that Zanpakutō collide. The more that each person can "resonate" with that soul. They will be able to understand on they think, why they think they way the do, they can even look into past memories. The entire Bankai process exploits this fact. It will exploit it to such an extent that it is almost unfathomable. However, again this Bankai can not be activated unless the Soul itself is on the brink of death itself. Meaning the soul itself will about to be perishing and die, and it is in this keen moment, when the soul is at it's most natural and pure state. The very same moment that a soul releases so much natural energy that the Bankai of the Zanpakutō can be released. After the incantation is said, the consciousness and essence of the soul that is perishing or fixing to die as well as the soul of Azrael will be transported inside the Zanpakutō of Shitsuro. Once inside the world will reveal itself to be nothing but pure black. A void of complete isolation. No floor, no roof, nothing to sit. A complete and dark void. However, high above the two "essences" {aka Azrael and the other person} is a giant scale. It's beauty and radiant shine is completely holy. It is said that this scale alone is what makes this void warm and confronting. On this scale is an empty spot towards the left. On the other spot is a white feather. This feather is so white that it is compared to the freshly dropped snow. This void is not bound by time or any natural laws that exist within the real world. What in fact could feel like years in hear are literally one second in real life. It is here, where Azreal will reveal that this is a realm the lingers between life and death. That it is a realm that is completely made of his Zanpakutō essence. He then will go on to explain, that his blade in Bankai can give a Soul a "second chance". He then goes on to say that the whole purpose of his Bankai is to guide those who have been lost to death. He will then go on to state if the soul wishes, Zanpakutō will "guide" them to where they are supposed to be and that it is completely up to the other soul if they either will continue to die or be healed and revived. If the soul says yes that he wishes to take this journey, then the other abilities will be unlocked to use. However, if the soul says no, the soul itself will contunie to die while the Bankai itself will be complete shattered and sealed once more. Like it had never even happened.
Omoide No Kako {Memories of Past}
Once the user has said yes to the question above. The soul will fell a slight pressure within their chest. Then a burst of what looks as if to be small cinematic clips burst from the person. These clips are referred by Azrael as "Cinematic Records". He then will go on to describe A Cinematic Record is a recollection of an individual's memories, depicted as a brief movie. He then will go on to explain, A Cinematic Record can be described as a document of an individual's life memories. The concept of any living being as in broken into two: a flesh body and a soul. When combined, the individual can exist among the living, and thus the initiation of their Cinematic Record. When the flesh body withers, and their soul has perished, the record ends there, and the living become the dead and a dead mark comes to existence. The "records" are then played back in a super high speed motion from the beginning of the person's life to the end. Even though the records are being played at full speed and if a normal being were to watch, it would be impossible for them to make out what they are seeing. In this world it is like each clip is being embedded inside the brain. So not only can Azrael can see all the memories of the person vividly but as well as the other soul. This is done so that both beings can see the actions that were caused by the stated person and what their true intent was. This is also done to torment or either remind the soul on why they did the things they did. Once the viewing is over, the Cinematic Records will place themselves on the open slot of the scale. Azrael will then probably talk for a moment or two and then ask if the soul is willing to move on. If the soul yes, the next ability will be unlocked. However, if the soul says no, the Bankai will shatter and the soul will ultimately die as Fate had foretold it.
Satoritsubasa {Wings of Enlightenment}
This is the worst part about Bankai as well as the most tormenting. Once this part is activated, giant yet beautiful black angel wings will appear around the two souls within the realm. The wings will then begin to glow. One will go and show a world that could have been, if the soul was not going to die. The other wing will then show a world on what would have happened if the Soul was never born. The true purpose of this ability is to either remind of the good they can accomplish or the good they can do or either taint their hearts with ideals and weaken them. Make them doubt. Of course both clips are utter illusions caused by the blade created from the cinematic records. However, the out comes are so realistic that it is possible that they come true. The future is always changing but this is a fact that Azrael never reveals until the end. Then Azrael will ask if the soul wish to continue and if the Soul says yes, the last ability will be unlocked.
Kamisabaki {Divine Judgment}
This is the last ability of the Bankai. If the Soul has said yes, and he has gone through the other stages. This ability will be performed. This is where blade will weigh the persons heart. After all has been said and done with the other abilities, all of the spiritual energy will escape from the person's enity but since the realm they exist in is between life and death, that being will not die. That energy will be placed on the open spot of the scale and then while that energy is on the scale, it will be weighed against the feather, which will represent the goddess of order, truth, and righteousness. Meaning it will weigh all of the past and possible current events that the being will occur through the spiritual energy it has now possessed. If the energy weighs more than the feather, this will mean that the intention of the being either did not change, has impure intentions, is still tainted, or holds doubt, or even possible did not fully attempt to listen with an open heart. Thus as punishment the blade will allow Azreal to cut the soul body of the other being with the Scythe known as "Ammut" . This scythe when it cuts the being will shatter and seal the Bankai, however it will not heal but If a person's body was cut by Ammut, than he/she would die the original death and be completely annihilated from existence. However, if the being has pure intentions and plans to do good with his life, or has changed, or their heart has been purified. The scale will allow Azrael to cut the body with a scythe known as "Ma'at". If and when a body is cut with this scythe there will be two effects. One is immediately once an object has been cut the Bankai will instaneously shatter and seal itself. Then the person that was cut, all of their wounds will be healed and their energy and raishi will be fully restored {within four post}. Thus giving the pure hearted people "a second chance". However, this Bankai phases can only be activated on a particular soul once. Meaning, no one is allowed to see the abilities of the Bankai more than once and it having an effect on them. This excludes Azreal of course. However, Azreal can never perform Bankai on himself.
