Appearance:
Tenebris is of half Asian descent, of which culture is unknown. A young man with black hair, deep set purple eyes, and almost white skin. Normally he wears a long sleeved black shirt, long black slacks, knee high black boots re-enforced with metal, with a hood and face mask. Over top of this ensemble he wears a robe made of shadows.

History:
Tenebris is the result of a Scientist's life's work. The man, named Dr. Whitely, thought he had found the scientific method of infusing a living being with the Elements; trying to create super-humans. Most of the other scientists working at the Research Facility believed he was a fool, or insane. But a few like minded individuals followed him when he left to create his own laboratory. During that time they hired a group of low-life's to kidnap homeless and orphaned children so that they might try their experiments. Most of these children died a short time after they were fused with the elements.
But Whitely had a more sinister idea in mind when the experiments failed. He decided that the only way to fully fuse a human with the elements was to do so before the child was even born. That way their undeveloped body would take the element and grow with it; making it harder to reject like it had in older children. This was how Tenebris came to be created. Infused with the Shadow element before birth he was born with an affinity for darkness and a quiet disposition.
His life was an endless hell of tests, trials, and experiments; but he never complained. Since he had been born in the Facility and was given a caretaker Tenebris didn't feel lonely or neglected. The children who survived the experiments were allowed to play together, so that the scientists could see how they interacted with one another. One of these was a girl named Superna who could conjure the wind. She and Tenebris where good friends and would spend many days beneath the canopy of trees.
Though Tenebris has a weakness against sunlight, and a lesser weakness to strong lights such as stadium lights; he would always come outside to play with Superna. Until one day when she didn't show up. It was at ten years old that Tenebris lost his only friend when an experiment went wrong in the lab. When he learned what had happened he flew into an all encompassing rage Unlocking all of his power at once he killed many of the scientists trying to find the man that had engineered her death.
Finding that the man had fled the Research Facility Tenebris broke out, swearing that he would find and kill the man who had created the research center.
Years passed and he has yet to find the man he is searching for. Over time his abilities have grown more refined and controlled.
