The Die-ner

[Draconia St George]

As the two finished the booberry pie, Draconia managed to finally find out a lot of things about Harry. He was a fang of the Beastles - they had THAT in common! - and his musical tastes definitely trended towards the funky and groovy. He was all about vinyl rather than digital music, and the two of them soundly agreed that Sgt. Pepphurt's Groaning Hearts Club Band was the beast Beastles album.

Draconia also learned something interesting...Harry's attention DEFINITELY peaked up when she started hexplaining Skulltimate Roller Maze to him and listed who was on the team.

"Robecca Steam is the team Captain, and the student coach is Clawd Wolf." Draconia tried to remember from memory who else was on the team. "Let's see. Glen is on the team, of course, and so is Nero du Sphinx and Heath Burns. Lagoona Blue, Operetta, Marceline LaGhede, Cassie, Atomica Servo-"

"Atomica's going to be there?!" Harry asked, suddenly. Draconia raised an eyebrow. Interesting! She thought about the entire 'BOJANGLES' juggernaut Harry had started.

Could it be because....? Draconia decided not to say anything too overt.

"Oh yes, she's on the team too. I would suppose that fangs to the injuries that some of the team receieved yesterday that she's guaranteed to skate, too."

At that point, Draculaura came up and took their payment - co-paid by both of them, and Draculaura looked at her watch.

"In fact, that match is about to start! We'll have to hurry if we want to get seated before the first whistle. Shall we?"

She glanced down at her bracelet and then back up at Demona.

"Y'know..." She swings an arm around her friends shoulder and sudden'y feel better about the next 24 hours. This must be what havinf friends means.

"I like the way you think. If being the bad ghoul is who they want. Then that's who they will get!"

Kai Merha

"It's a date! Let go get that Screezza. It will taste so much better if Kia pays!" She laughs as they head to the die-ner to meet 'their' date.

Kai pulled up in his dad's van to the Die-ner. His stomach rumbled. Why had Demona texted him to come to the Die-ner for screechza and wings?! He had been all ready to propose that they go on a 'last date before the new Scaremester' at Grave & Booster's. Instead, she wanted the Die-ner's (notoriously greasy) screechza instead?

Weird.

The Die-ner had great pie and milkquakes. Maybe Demona had changed her mind and wanted something sweet. Hah! Demona changing HER mind - maybe Kai was becoming the reliable one in this relationship!

Kai parked, locked the doors and stepped out.

I'm here r u here?

Kai looked up from his phone to see if he could see Demona. Maybe they could have a nice, goremantic dinner. Just the two of them. In a quiet, out-of-the-way booth....sharing a chocolate milkquake with two straws...or maybe strawscarry....or booberry...or martianmallow...or, no, chocolate would be fine...but still, cherry would be good too...

Demona saw Kai's hext and went out to him leaving Anna at a booth.

"She, wanted to come. I forget how she's really really forward and I don't like the food here. but she's really bummed out and I dont want to disappoint either of you"

She hugged him. "I'm sorry...Marianna is here."

Marianna waves from her booth as the couple great each other, she smiles a toothy grin at Kai, it may have looked more menacing then cheerful.

She bounced in the booth getting hungry and wanting Screetcha.

"Lets go. Let's Go. Let's Go!"  

[Kai Merha]

"Oh, yeah. We met at SKRM, didn't we?" The big ghoul was bouncing in the (formerly romantic and secluded) corner. She had a LOT of sharp, pointy teeth in her mouth. Kai sighed. Well, so much for the goremantic dinner idea.

But that was okay! Kai was part of the Brand Boo Student Orientation Buddy Club, after all. He'd helped orient Harry Herne and Peggy Springwell. Even if school didn't restart till tomorrow, it was his job to be a good ambassagore for Monster High.

"Well, the more the scarrier, I guess!" He shrugged, and sat down with Demona in the booth. "Aloha, Marianna. What's shaking?"

Demona looked at Kai and Anna and smirked in a mischevious way

"be warned if you two order anything with fries, I will steal them. I love to eat fries and dip them into chocolate milkquakes, its the. literal. best." She paused looking at a menu

"also I have a little bit of news that isn't as cool as Kai's job but...I applied for a job at Forever 2100 and Sephor-ugh I figured I should try to get a real job, instead of modeling and the money I make off of instagrim"

Speaking of, Demona whipped out her phone to take a selfie

"Do you guys want to be in the picture?" She asked particularly at Kai because she didn't know if he really wanted to be on the page of an international super model

Kai gave Demona's phone the 'fang 10' hand wave. It clicked, taking the picture just as a waitress walked up.

"Hey, kiddos, what can I get for ya today?"

The waitress's first mistake was asking Kai first. Her second mistake was waiting for him to answer instead of just going to Marianna or Demona.

"Can I get......." Kai looked at the menu. Then he looked at the menu board up above the register. Then he looked at the specials on a little placard on the table. Then he looked at the menu again. "Uhmmmmm....."

"I'd....like....theeee......ummmm...."

Kai looked at the menu again. Then back at the board above the register. Then at the menu.

"How about......ummm...."

Kai Merha

"How about......ummm...."

"Hello."

She said interrupting him and taking his hand

"Can you give us a few more moments we are all still deciding."

She smiled softly at her and she watched the lady walk away.

"Okay you wanted screechza erm...pizza right? they have like this pizza with a ton of crap on it like its loaded with toppings. Does that sound good?" She pointed at the option on the menu.

It took some time and the waitress had to come back a few times, Demona was patient with Kai's difficulties and decision making. While Marianna, although irked at times, especially when they had to order drinks as well, did find him interesting. Like when he was nervous his tail rattled, or his ears would turn if her heard something distracting.

Mari liked that Demona would help him, and she was a bit jealous that she didn't have someone in her life like Kai. But more so, she wished she could help someone.

After some selfies and difficult decision making, their food finally arrived, and Marianna had ordered a large anchovie screetzza for herself, and could not wait to eat it.

Suddenly Mr. Bootista's ring scream sounded on her icoffin, she looked down at her icoffin tentitivly, as if she knew bad news was only a splash away! Taking a moment to contemplate answering, she hits accept.

"Hello? ?"

"Headless Headmistress Bloodgood told me what happened... You know I would have rather heard it from you. I know I wasn't always around when you where younger....but you know you can always talk to me Anglefish..."
He sounded almost sad with that last statement.

Marianna pouts in response, She felt like she let him down and she hated that feeling.

"I've got good news. You don't have to take detention anymore."

Marianna perks up at the news. biggrin

Instead, you're volunteering at the pool with community scarevice as lifeguard.

She deflates at the news. sad then hangs up the phone.

"Oh Fishsticks! Community scarevice?!!? UGH!!"  

[Kai Merha]

"Community Scarevice?" Kai asked, in between bites of Clawaiian pizza. It was actually pretty good. "Like, cleaning up the highway?"  

[Demona MH]

"Hey, I've heard its not that bad" She said eating fries, having ordering them herself along with a screechza and a milkquake. Hard to believe that she was the model, with all the food she had.

"I mean my mom does it all the time...well she used to. then she attacked someone with the sticks you pick up trash with" she smiled fondly at the memory "She just kept bonking them on the head with it." She laughed  

[Marianna Trench]

"He said i'll be lifegaurding at the school pool...." She takes a monstrous bite of her screetcha. She was stress eating. First day at a new school was hard enough... now she had to start a new job too.

"I can't wait..." She mumbles.  

[Demona MH]

"Come on my mother is a certified insane, wacko nut job. If she could do it for a while so could you. It's not the end of the world Anna..."
she smiled eating
"Besides I don't mean to be stereotypical or anything but aren't you good at swimming? I mean you are a sea monster" She ate a fry and shrugged  

[Marianna Trench]

Her mood once again improves due to Demona's charm, and wit. "You have a point. This will be like a walk on the beach!"

She wanted to learn more about Demona's boofriend, and more about New Salem
"So Kai, you've lived here a while. What's wavey to do here?Classes start tomorrow, maybe we should hit the maul. I still haven't been there."
