Princess Mononoke and then it was Spirited Away. They started my love of the films! <3

I think it was Totoro but it might have been Princess Mononoke. I had films class when I was about 16? My teacher showed both movies.
If it hadn't been for films class I wouldn't had seen those movies tell I was in my 20's. My parent's always gave me a hard time for watching anime. There was no way they would have bought me anime movies to watch.
*Fun fact; My husband was in films class with me. We have raised our daughters watching Totoro, Kiki's Delivery service, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, and just recently we watching Spirited away together. My kids love Ghibli movies. 3nodding

Spirited away was one of the first onces ive seen! It got me into all the other movies

The first movie I saw was Howl's Moving Castle. I remember that after I watched it I watched most of the other full-length films in the following week.

My sister brought Spirited Away home when it came out on dvd and we watched it together. It was her favorite and ultimately became mine. 3nodding
