Well, I got friend zoned

So I was talking to this girl I like becuase I was going to ask her out, but then she asks me about how she should feel about the current situation with her ex, whom I'm guessing she still has feelings for. They broke up like a month and a half ago and he texted her to tell her that he was getting back with one of his ex'es, what a jerk, right? Anyways she asks me how I would feel in the given situation. So I go and explain how I've never been in such a situation given that I have never been in a realationship, then I go on to give my best guess at how I would feel. As the conversation goes on she asks me for realtionship advice, yada yada yada. Anyways, I think she now thinks I'm gay.
