The younger Samantha jumped at a mans voice there had been no one here a moment ago she had checked, but now a man stood a few feet from her and her heart pounded as she looked at the stranger her eyes widened
"H...h...hello" she spoke timidly while getting up slowly and stepping back from this stranger

"D...do...I...I know you?" She asked as she looked at him

She was nervous around people and this stranger gave off a very strange vibe
She looked around for an escape if there was a need but something told her he was more dangerous then he showed

A small smile crossed Duncan's face as he looked at the frightened little girl, he slowly took a step towards the girl as he slowly raised his hands. "There's no need to fear me young one, I don't mean you any harm. I'm a friend of someone you might know, his name is Erin Nothar." He said in a calm, soft as he continued to move forward towards the girl, he could feel his powers draining as his physical body started trying to pull him into his own mind. He would have to hurry and finish his job, Ashton warned him that if he failed again, he wouldn't get another chance. "I think Erin might need your help, sometime in his future he's going to go up to the mountains and when he does he's going to need your help. I'm afraid he's going to up against a force stronger then he knows." He said as he slowly bent down and picked a single Lilly before standing again with a small crooked smile showing on his face."I'll see you around princess." He said as he softly brushed his fingers across her forehead, leaving a small black mark before letting his mind return to his body. The first thing he noticed was a blade pressed to his throat. Knowing that if he made a single wrong move whoever was on the other end of the blade would end his life he decided to take care with his next words. "I take it your the one assigned as her personal guard, Keiro I think it was? Don't worry I don't mean anyone here harm." He said in a calm voice as he glanced down at the now dead flower he picked from Sam's dream.

Sam eyes widened as the stranger spoke of Erin and told her he would get into trouble if he went into the mountain,
concern covered her face at this,then shock how would this man now this and what was his connection to all of this
Samantha watched the stranger pick a lily and smile at her she shivered at that smile something wasn't right.
As she looked up the stranger stood in front of her before she could ask anything he touched her head and then...darkness

Keiro lurched forward with the man as she pressed her wrist blade against his neck, choosing to ignore the whole thing about meaning no harm, that figure of speech did not exist
"You're not getting away from me, tell me who you are, and what did you do to her"

Keiro hissed sounding almost feminine, she motioned to the princess with a quick head movement, not wanted this man to play some stupid trick if she removed her eyes from him, Keiro's legs were still shaky from being in the same position for such a long time but refused to let it be shown

"Answer me! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!"
Anger, resentment in Keiros voice as he shook the man slightly, not a good sign, she had to not feel and conceal her emotions, her feelings, so ashton could not get her soul,

Duncan chuckled as he felt a thin line of blood drip down his neck, he could feel Keiro's breath behind him as a small smirk formed on his lips. "So touchy and full of emotion, you really should try to control yourself otherwise someone might think the princess is the key to breaking you." He said as he glanced over at the princess for a moment before feeling the blade tighten a little on his throat. "I performed a spell know as a somno obscurabitur or a darkened sleep, it's a spell unique to shades and can only be undone by the caster or someone of his bloodline. Lucky for me the only remaining blood relative I have doesn't know enough about shade magic to reverse it." He said with a small laugh, the spell wouldn't kill the princess but it also wouldn't allow her to really dream, unless it was nightmares and has been know to slowly drain the victims energy until they had just enough to survive.
"As for who I am, my name is Duncan, general of Ashton's shade battalion." He said as he felt the figure's legs slowly shake for a moment before returning motionless.

Samantha looked around but could not see an inch in front of her as she began to walk the smell of death and fear filled her nose,water dripped from every where she walked foreword placing her hand on the cold damp wall of rock.

"I'm in a cave but how?" She shivered as a voice filled her ears

"Lost...so lost and alone"
Her heart pounded as she looked around but no one was there
She took a deep breath and moved forward

"No one will come for you,you are his now" her heart pounded loudly
As voices continued whispering to her then there was a dim light Sam ran tripping but moved forward she entered the light and gasped as a man sat on a throne his eyes an endless abyss

"Come little one,come to me" he cooed to her but she could not move, he sniffed the air

"So young so pure"
He sniffed again and purred

"My my you smell of her I should of know she would eventually find a friend..after all it is in human nature to want to care" he stood in front of her now and ran a claw through her hair

"Such a beauty no wonder she protects you and to think you will be her downfall..little princess"
Sam stepped back as he smiled for fear bit at her as his teeth were that of a sharks

Keiro huffed, his chest rose and fell in a rapid manner, thinking of a solution
The blade retracted away into the gauntlet as glared at duncan, he turned and moved towards the princess, he could feel the dark energy that man had placed in her
Keiro's eyes narrowes in focus as he swept the sleepung princess into his arms she was asleep and would not learn of the secret keiro carried

With a final glance at duncan Keira leapt up into a tree, away from him and not back to the castle yet


The princess still had not awoken andbit gad been all past a second hour of travel, keiro gad not stopped yet, and was panting with every painful leap
A mountainside was clear through the tree line, as was the huge defended balcony on the demons brotherhood, the gyards lets her onto the balconey once her feet hit the wooden floor his legs gave out and he stumbled still holding the princess as he fell thevthe ground
"TRISTOV!! TRISTOV!!!"his voice bekoned through tge halls, he stood again with the princess and tried again but his legs eouldnt move and she fell again, but the princrss did not
She now rested in Tristovs arms as he stared down at Keira, a worrued smile ipon his face, he symboked the guards to assist keiro,
"I wil get her a bed, and you medicine to numb your legs,you have dobe well keiro"
Wuth that he took her as keiro wTched refusing hrelp from his companiobs

Samantha woke up gasping for air her eyes full of fear seeing someone standing above she called for her guardian but not before zapping Tristov
With her magic and began to run towards the door.
Samantha's heart pounded as she ran through the hall scared and confused.
She could still feel his breath on her neck and those teeth.

Sam fought back the tears as she ran
He had promised to visit her again in her dreams

Duncan watched as Keiro left carrying the princess with a small smile, he did his job and gave Ashton the access he needed to the girl's dream. With a small sigh he turned and slowly headed back towards the castle to give an official report. He glanced up at the mountain as he thought about what his son was looking for, that boy reminded him of Erin's mother when she was alive he was so independent and stubborn.

Erin slid through one of the doors as he heard someone walking through the corridor, as he listened to the muffled voices he glanced around the room he was in. It seemed to be some sort of library, his eyes quickly scanned through the titles before pulling a random one off the shelves and opened it. Slight surprise flashed in his eyes as he realized it was a book of records on Ashton's previous rise to power.

Ashton got up off the bed and dressed not even looking at the women who laid in his bed. the woman's skin was pale and her lips grey.

"are you sated now my Lord?" a seductive voice cooed

Ashton looked at Astrid and sneered as she walked up to him

she smirked up at him as he stroked his face she licked the blood off of his lip
with a snarl he bit into her neck.
