Hi there, everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well! I'm just posting to make you guys aware that Godhand Medic and I have just started (well, he started it a while ago, and I just responded to...oopsies cat_sweatdrop ) a mini event that will eventually include all of you! (That's right, YOU!) Now I know there are only two posts in it, and sure, we haven't even incorporated one single person yet, and maybe I'm a little excited here because I just got really into it. I just know that it really sucks to have to sit down and read through a bunch of posts that look really long, and they just get intimidating, so if you're ever bored and want something to read, don't be afraid to skim through The Heist in our Common Area! Also, I've been reading (and trying to keep up with my own) Spring Cleaning and they all look really good! Good job everyone!

It's time! It's almost here! Having returned, just in time, I couldn't resist (honestly, half out of Christmas spirit, and half out of sheer joy of being back). I bring you, the beginning of the Captain Marvel Christmas special!
Here we go!
The time was quickly coming upon him, and he was nowhere near ready. Time had passed by so quickly lately, and yet it seemed like no time had passed at all. Still, the signs had been obvious to anyone who had bothered to pay attention. His situations had simply not left him enough time to act on those signs. As he worked, he could hear the whispers of the elders wondering just what he was doing. He couldn’t blame them. They hadn’t had a champion after Black Adam, so you could say they were a bit out of touch with how things were going. After a while though, he decided they really needed to know. After all, what was Christmas spirit if you couldn’t enjoy it and share it with everyone? He turned and spoke, seeming to talk to no one, though to anyone with mystic senses it would have been rather obvious just who he was addressing.

Here, let me show you
With that, he reached behind his bed and pulled out a small box wrapped in green paper with a bright yellow bow. A Christmas present he had chosen and wrapped for Black Canary.

He sighed and pulled out a large stocking next. Perhaps this might do the trick.
Now, pay attention
Now we pick up an over-sized sock
And hang it like this on the wall

Oh, yes! A trophy of course!

or sometimes it's filled with small toys!

What a splendid idea
This Christmas sounds fun
Why, I fully endorse it
Let's try it at once
Billy sighed and it seemed as if they just wouldn’t get it. Sometimes it seemed that the only thing they understood was Billy using their powers to change the world in some way. Their Champion in every way.
Everyone, please now, not so fast
There's sometihng here that you don't quite grasp
Well, I may as well give them what they want
And the best, I must confess, I have saved for the last
For to celebrate Christmas in this land,
you need a champion with a deep mighty voice

There was a general pleased air around the room as the Elders talked amongst themselves talking about such a wonderful idea. They were going to love this. Still, it was hard for Billy to disagree with them. After all, ‘Marvel Claus’ would definitely be in a position to spread Christmas joy during the season. In the end, it only added to his excitement. He grinned as he started wrapping the next present: A Superman shirt for his good friend, Mr. Kent. After that would be a book for Raven, a replica Green Lantern ring for Beast Boy, a book for Ace, a new hat for Jervis, a puzzle for Edward…
