"Yes" he said as he inspected everybody around the room, every single one of them turning away as his eyes landed on them, he never thought he would have had such a great reaction from them, and so soon too. "perhaps a bit of anesthetic would have calmed him down a bit" he said, the grin on his face growing wider.

"I think you'll find that there isn't a part of Hannon that is 'good'." Cedric said, his eyes spotted the people from afar, they were planning something. His hand landed on the hilt of his sheathed blade "you may want to follow me" he said, he turned to his ship ,which was farther down the harbor now, and headed towards it.

Hector frowned with unwavering eyes, clearly not liking the look on his face. She folded her arms, about to say something when suddenly, John entered the room.

"My Lord." John started with a bow. "The messenger is here. He wants to discuss the terms of surrender."

"Good." Hector cold chuckled. "Did you hear that everyone? Looks like the battle's going to be over. Lets see what I can squeeze out of those Norran bastards."

"Yeah!" The soldiers began to cheer.

As Hector turned to the door, she shot a glance at Eviz as if she wasn't through with him yet, and then left with John walking behind her as her shield.

"Well, there's trade and that's about it." She replied, gripping her gun as two of the men started running at her. She drew her gun pointing it in their direction, and they slowly came to a halt. They were armed with hand held weapons, but a gun could take them out quickly. "And sure. I'll follow you." She smiled.

Eviz smile and waved at them as they left "good luck!" He yelled out. Of course he had caught the glance Hectpr shot t him, he chuckled wondering what he was going to do. He moved over to another one of the wounded "there there, it'll be alright" he man cringed at Eviz's touch, this time he applied the anesthetic.

Cedric reached the ship, the latch opened and three heavily armed men stepped out

"Ready for take off Sir" the man spoke. He looked over Cedric's shoulder and saw the few individuals stepping closer once again "problem?" He asked Cedric with a raised brow.

"they are becoming a nuisance, yes" Cedric stepped aside and so did the soldiers, he waved Ruby in. "Please miss" he said cordially.

"Why thank you." Ruby said with a smile as she jumped into the boat with him.

After negotiating with messenger, Hector walked out to the mess area. "Hey everyone, the Norran forces are pulling back to the river." She announced. At that, the crowds of men eating began to cheer. With that, she turned and went back to her private quarters. It was a small personal airship docked on a makeshift platform near the woods. John sat in front of the door, guarding it while Hector ate and worked alone in there under the candle light. She took off her thick jacket and loosened the chest binder as she began to eat. After all, having her chest tied down made it hard to breath, eat, and sleep. As she ate, she started going over the prince's letters and her own war plans at her desk. There was an open window to keep the air circulating so breathing was easier. With John guarding nearby, she was sure no one would trying sneaking in through there. If so, he could hear them. And if anyone did need her, they could easily go through John.

Cedric shut the door behind them. Suddenly arguing could be heard outside the ship, it was silent for a moment but it was interrupted by the sudden burst of gunfire. Silence again.
The hatch door open and the soldiers stepped in

"Clear for take off Sir"

Cedric let the men take ahold of the ship while he turned his attention to the woman "Now then I suppose a proper introduction is in order" he pulled off his cap to be proper "Cedric Vigor at your service" he said trying to sound as cheesy as possible, it wasn't very often he had this sort of company.

Eviz was writing in his journal by candlelight, he always liked to record the days findings, on most occasions there isn't much to jot down, thankfully he had quiet the experience today.

"The name is Ruby and you won't regret it." Ruby smiled.

((Well, I was planning on it, but I felt he'd try to catch her off guard first. You know, new interest that he can't help but study. Besides, she's so high ranking that there would probably be in-between people, which would get in the way of his 'research'. I thought you would make up an excuse for him to see her. ))

Eviz closed the journal and set his pencil right next to it. He stepped out of his small tent, he was greeted by the soldiers cheering in festivity. He glided past all of them, there glances going over his head.
He made it past the ruckus and into the silence of the woods.
He finally spotted the private airship made for Hector, he rolled his eyes and made his way up to the entrance "Hello John" he said to the large man guarding the door "I request an audience with lord Thunderbird" he said with a genuine smile.

Cedric raised a brow "right then" he moved away from her and up to the man at the Helm "unfortunately miss Ruby we can't pass our time with idle conversation, we'll drop you off at the nearest harbor."

"An audience?" John asked, recognizing he was a doctor. "What is the matter? Has something happened?" He asked, wondering if something serious had happened in the medical clinic, like they ran out or supplies or a sickness broke out.

"Fine fine." Ruby replied. "I was just coming aboard because I was curious."

"no no nothing like that" he said whit a light chuckle, before speaking again he became serious "I wish to apologize for my earlier behavior, I believe I may have upset lord Thunderbird with my mannerism" he hung his head as if he was also apologizing to John.

Cedric let out a lift breath and looked forward "make a heading captain" the soldier nodded and maneuvered the ship "it will be some time before we arrive..." He said with a sigh, he turned to face the woman "tell me miss, why do you do for a living?"
