"Yes, I suppose you're right." Kiru replied back, rocking his child. "So we'll start making preparations as soon as these two are done sleeping." He whispered back while looking back at Lerana. "Good luck with finding Namine. If you don't find her, I suppose I will."

A spoon from the table soon found itself embedded in the wall beside Kiru. "Who's that interrupting our sleep? Don't they know it's ruuuuuuude?~" Lerana rushed to the door, growling before seeing Eric. "O-Oh. Eric. It's you." She said before hugging the boy. "Oh, it's been forever since you visited. Have you been eating good? You look skinny..."

Eric stepped back when the spoon was tossed into the wall. No wonder she and my mom get along. She reacts the same way to interruption of sleep that she does to laziness. I don't think even she could get a spoon in a wall though, he thought.

He rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry for waking you Mrs. Otashi. I've been eating as good as cafeteria food allows. Albeit this is much better than public school food, nowhere near as good as a home cooked meal. Speaking of which, that is why I came. My mother invited my friends and I to lunch a couple days ago, but I got preoccupied with other matters. I came to see if you and your family were available for it today," he said. Let's hope she doesn't kill me for this. Angry mothers are scarier than any heartless, he thought.

"It's fine! Don;t apologize, sweetie." Lerana replied to Eric, still a bit worried about his thin frame. Her eyes lit up at the mention of having lunch with his parents. "Wonderful! We'll get started on something now." She said, smiling at her daughter's friend. "You tell them we'll be coming over soon!"

Kiru let out a yawn, looking to have skipped it for a few nights.

Eric nodded to Lerana. "Thank you very much. I'm sure she'll love it," he said. He waved to the family and smiled. "See you there and sorry again for waking you," he said bowing slightly. i should probably call her to make sure the offer is still there, he thought.

"We'll see you again soon, Eric!" Lerana said, tussling his hair like Kiru had done. "I want you to eat more when I see you there. You need to beef up a little like Lawrence."

Eric chuckled. "I'll make sure to do that," he said. Is she really that tired? Lawrence isn't that much bigger than me. Much more agile, sure, but not that much bigger right? I guess I haven't been eating as well as I thought. Did I even have dinner yesterday? I don't remember, he thought. His stomach growled. oh yeah, I need breakfast, he thought as he went back to his dorm.
