{PRP} The Bread Bearer & The Butler (Melody x Autumnal)

[~Twilight...Angel~]

Autumnal jumped up and hugged Melody. Blushing and backing up a bit when he realized what he had done.

"Sorry... Just excited to have someone stay with me for a bit, at least. I like company and talking to you is nice."

He smiled and swished his tail excitedly. He didn't get people to stay over even less often than he had people in his house in the first place. He felt like a little kid with how excited he was. And, since he enjoyed her company so much, it made it even better still. He looked straight at her, his eyes filled with excitement too.

"I think that a couple more special dishes would be good. Things to get people talking... I'm not sure what would be good to make though. Would need help making a list and preparing the recipes."

He looked at the cat.

"I'm surprised he didn't run away just then. He's usually pretty skittish. Anyway, would you like to see the room?"

He smiled wide at her, prepared to leave the room.

Autumnal smiled broadly as he lightly took her hand again, leading her our if his room and further into the house. Walking past the kitchen and down to the end of a short hallway, he led her into the room.

"Like I said, it's small, but the bed over there is nice and warm. And there are dressers and a closet you can use too if you like. Plenty of places to put anything you want."

He smiled and put his arm around her shoulders, slowly passing his hand across the room.

"What do you think? Good enough to stay a while, at least?"

He watched her carefully.

"And we can brain storm over some coffee after we get you settled in. Well... Ya know... If you stay here."

Autumnal smiled wide and swishes his tail excitedly. Blushing at the kiss, he looked down at his feet, feeling a bit shy.

"I'm happy you like the room so much then. Not many people like it's size. I figured it was decent room myself. And of course I have hot chocolate. It's the perfect thing to keep you warm on a cold nippy night."

He smiled at her before lightly taking her hand again, leading her back out to the kitchen area. He pulled out a chair at the table for her to sit while he boiled some water and got the mugs ready.
He then sat down next to her at the table himself.

"So how long would you think you would like to stay for now?"

"You are welcome to stay here forever as long as it suits your needs."

Autumnal smiled widely at her. He just couldn't tell her that she had to leave. Ever. He would never ask her to do such a thing. She could leave anytime she wanted to though. He could never stop someone from doing what they wanted. He was too good a person and would never tell someone what to do.

"How do you like your hot chocolate?"

Autumnal got to work as he asked his question. Taking out the chocolate and tea pot that he would use for the water. As he filled the pot and placed it onto the stove, he also took out two rather large mugs. He wasn't sure how much she wanted, but he loved the taste himself and could never get enough of it.

Autumnal started a bit at the hug, but then hugged her back a bit. Feeling how warm she was.

"You are very welcome. Like I said, I enjoy your company very much. And I'm sure that Harry will enjoy having another person in the house to give him attention as well."

Autumnal smiled at her.

"I'm sure that I can handle that. Would you like any other flavoring in your hot chocolate? I have some nice mint that I could add to it as well."

He rummaged through his cabinet, pulling out the mint he had.

Autumnal reached into the cabinet with the mint at her conformation, finding it almost imediatly. He placed it down on the counter, moving over to get the water that was almost ready to be poured into the glasses.

"I'm good. I know my way around the kitchen, trust me."

Autumnal winked at her and laughed a bit.

"But really, you could get the cocoa out of that cabinet over there for me. Mint requires the good stuff."

He smiled and pointed to the smaller cabinet on the other side of the kitchen.

Autumnal watched her from the corner of his eye, looking her over a bit. It was simply a different angle of the mare, which he found appealing. Her dress looked a bit different from the back as well, though no less pretty.

"Thank you very much."

He said while smiling at her. As the water came to a boil he placed all the ingedients into the mugs and stirred them around rather gently. Feeling that they were mixed well enough, he handed the mare her mug.

"Just make sure to wait a minute or two before you drink out of it. Or, if you would prefer, you can place it into the fridge or freezer for a bit. I'm sure that would cool it down nicely."

He turned toward the fridge himself, pulling out a container of cream.

"I don't know if you would like any of this as well. Just to add a bit of flavor and heaviness to the drink."

"Not a problem."

Autumal placed the container back into the fridge.

"Would you like to sit in the living room? It's much more comfortable out there after all. Perhaps we could find a game to play or something of the like? You are certainly welcome to ask me anything you would like to know as well. My ears are open and my life pretty much an open book."

Autumnal laughed a bit and then started heading toward the living room to sit back down on the more comfortable couch.
