{PRP} The Bread Bearer & The Butler (Melody x Autumnal)

[~Twilight...Angel~]

Autumnal looked around a bit. His bright yellow eyes scanning for anything that needed to be done. He sighed a bit.

"Always so much work to get done and not enough time to do it all in..."

Autumnal sighed again as he spotted a pretty looking mare. He watched her for a bit, noticing she was starting to look around. Walking over to her, he politely smiled and bowed a bit to her.

"Did you need anything Miss?"

He smiled a bit broader as he stood back up straight.

Autumnal smiled at her and laughed lightly.

"Bread does seem to be that way after a little while."

He looked her up and down before bowing again.

"I would be happy to get you a glass of water Miss. Is there anything else you would like before I leave?"

He smiled broadly at her again, his eyes locking with hers.

Autumnal looked at her a bit more, intently. Allowing his eyes to stare a little bit longer, enjoying the sound of her voice.

"I shall return with some butter and a pitcher of water for you Miss."

He smiled at her a bit deviously, replying to her inquiring about his company.

"I'm a bit busy today Miss. Sadly there isn't enough people to clean the things that need to be cleaned. But... Perhaps I shall see you another time and you'll be able to have the pleasure of my company. And I, yours."

He flicked his tail a bit as he walked back toward the kitchen to get the butter and water for her.

Autumnal looked back at her, watching for a bit as she turned to look out the window. He then forced himself to look away, getting her a stick of butter and a pitcher of water. Grabbing a glass and some ice for her as well, he placed the items on a tray, leaving the kitchen with them.

He walked over to her table, lightly placing them down before placing himself into the booth chair across from her. He started at her, placing his elbows on the table and his hands under his chin.

"I am. But, since I own the place, no one can fire me for not cleaning."

Autumnal smiled at her, nodding toward the room.

"Besides, I think that my employees should have to do some more work around this place for once."

He looked out toward the tables, seeing the others in the cafe. He felt he needed some time off of his feet and this pretty mare who was called Melody seemed like a nice person to pass some time with. He often missed the company of others having being very busy working for the most part.

Autumnal laughed loudly.

"As interesting as that sounds, I generally stay in the back and work. I don't see much of anyone. I enjoy doing the dishes and doing some of the cooking."

He watched her a bit more intensly, relaxing in the booth a bit more.

"Thank you very much. I've had this place for a few years now. Trying to keep up with the customers takes a lot of work, but I enjoy having my own place."

Autumnal looked at her carefully, staring with his bright yellow eyes.

"I do enjoy cooking. It's one of the few things I've been able to get right when I've tried it. And it's rather enjoyable to try new recipies as well. Perhaps, if you would like, I could show you how to make some wonderful loaves of bread one day. When the cafe is closed, of course."

He looked up at the roof for a couple of minutes, trying to think of why he had come out to the front on that particular day, or at that time.

"I'm not sure really. Was doing something or other. Happened to look out the door from the kitchen and say you looking like you needed something."

He shrugged a bit.

"I deal with it pretty well. I live above the cafe as well, so it makes it easier in that aspect. Don't have to worry about paying rent for the cafe as well as for my home."
