As Erwane said that she would stay with him longer a quick smirk appeared on the vampires face as he replied
"Excellent. No of course you are not intruding. I would not ask if you were."
He gritted his teeth together as the sound of her heartbeat started becoming overpowering his ears. His need to feed was becoming more apparent as they continued to trek along. He managed to make out Erwane asking him if he was ok. He nodded and stopped in place. Using his superhuman hearing he listened for any nearby humans other than Erwane, unfortunately there was nothing nearby that he could feed on. His options were growing slim. He had to run back to the mansion.
"Give me one moment m'lady."
With that Alucard dashed off in the superhuman blur and arrived at the prison in his mansion in mere seconds. The prisoners had the usual look on their face but Alucard was so hungry it didn't matter, he grabbed the closet person and proceeded to bite them and drink deeply of their blood. He didn't draw the prisoner, but he had certainly drawn enough blood for the person to pass out. He licked his lips hungrily as he let out a content sigh. With his hunger diminished he ran back to Erwane. Alucard had only been gone for around 30 seconds when he returned to the halfing. It was rather obvious that he had just fed as he had been so hungry he didn't care if he did so gracefully. Blood was splattered over his cheeks, and his lips were stained a deep crimson. He smiled and picked up Erwane and whispered into her ear
"Please hold onto the sword.. If it drops on me I will be in immense pain."
With that Alucard dashed off to the mansion and arrived in the usual few seconds. He lightly set Erwane on the ground as he proceeded into the mansion. Alnsworth was standing at his usual position near the front of the door when Alucard approached his faithful butler
"Alnsworth, please draw a bath in my main chambers, also make sure that the sunlight proofing is up to date. I would prefer that I don't wake up in the middle of the day with my skin on fire like last time."
Alnsworth nodded and bowed
"Of course sire, it shall be done right away."
Alucard took Erwane's hand and walked towards what seemed to be a trophy room of some sort. There were mutliple trophies of esteemed animals hung about the walls, with ancient colonial artifacts adorning the room. Alucard pointed to a glass case that would be able to fit Erwane's most recent treasure
"You can put the sword in there for now, it will be safe. On that you have my word."
Before he could say anything else Alnsworth stood at the entrance to the trophy room and bowed once more
"My lord your room is prepared at your request." Alucard smirked and nodded towards his faithful servant
"Thank you Alnsworth. Come Lady Erwane. You will enjoy this."
Alucard headed for the staircase and proceeded to walk up seven flights of stairs before they arrived at two huge doors made out of solid bronze. Alucard pulled the key out from his utility belt and unlocked the two bronze doors and opened them to reveal a grand sight. The room easily took up the entire seventh floor of the mansion. The ceilings seemed to never end, and the decorations were extremely elaborate. Multiple tiger skin rugs adorned the floors, and suits of armor were placed along the entrance of the room, each one was from a different era with a different style of weaponry. As they walked into the main chamber of the room, a beautiful king bed stood in the center of the room with a hand woven silken canopy residing over it. Alucard approached the bed and rubbed his face with his hands before stretching out and turning to Erwane.
"Welcome to my main chambers M'lady. But that tomb crall has made me absolutely filthy, join me for a bath, we shall speak of what to do with the sword in the hot springs."
Alucard started to strip down in front of Erwane as if she wasn't in the room, until he was left in only his boxers and walked into the other room of the main chamber which was presumably the bathroom of the chamber. When you entered the bathroom it was like you stepped into a different part of the mansion entirely. Like Alucard had stated it was certainly a hot spring, which seemed to span an entire city block. It was certainly a marvel of engineering, there were places to freshen up and places to change, but Alucard had been too tired to use them. Taking a step into the hot spring Alucard let out a sigh of relaxation he fully plunged into the hot spring and the water cascaded over his wide shoulders. He closed his eyes and put his arms up on the rocks as he waited for her to join him.

When Alucard said one moment, he really meant one moment. She had assumed that he would be a few minutes, so she'd kept walking. Only to have him reappear with a blood splattered face and a grin. Not the most comforting sight, but at least it meant he wasn't hungry. That was worlds better. She just hoped that he hadn't killed someone.
Then they were off with her gripping the sword tightly and close against her chest. There was no way she was dropping it or hurting Alucard with it. It was mere second that they were at the mansion, really more like a castle. Quick orders to the butler and she was shown to a trophy room. There were so many treasures here. If she didn't know better, she might be tempted to take something. Adding the sword to the collection wasn't hard, but it was sad to part with such a beautiful piece. Even if for just a day.
Alucard bid her to follow him. She was curious what else he would show her. This place had so many rooms, it could nearly be anything. After seven flights of stairs and a quick breather while he opened the bronze doors, they finally entered their destination.
Erwane had never seen such a massive bedroom in her life. One would think a room like this would feel quite empty, but Alucard seem to find a great many things to decorate it with. Armor, skins, furniture and trinkets. Not to mention the luxurious four post bed. She felt rather small in such a room.
"Nice rooms." was all she could manage to say. She almost missed the rest of what he said. "Wait, what did you say?" She wasn't sure she heard him right.
The fact that he started to strip in front of him answered the question. She froze, face going red. She started to look away but he seemed to be staying in his boxers. She sighed as he walked into the other room. Alucard was something. Stripping without warning. He had a very nice body though. She smiled despite herself.
Not sure exactly what to do, she went ahead and stripped off her clothes as well. She left her underwear and bra on of course as she step into the other room a little shyly. She froze, jaw dropping. What the hell was this?! He had an entire spa in here. She stepped forward looking around. It was so massive. There was even places to go for changing. He could have mentioned that one, she thought as she entered it.
After a few moments, she slipped into the spa wearing something more suitable than underwear. An involuntary sigh escaped Erwane lips. The hot water started to sooth aches she didn't even realize were there. She unpinned her hair and dunked under the hot water to rinse it. Once she was done, she swam over beside Alucard and found a place to sit comfortably.
"I can't believe you have a hot spring in your home. Why in the world would you leave this place?" she asked, leaning back. "Can I just stay here forever?" she joked, closing her eyes. Her muscles relaxed as the hot water worked it's magic. The tense day they had spent in the hand craved hole in the wall had left a few knots.

Erwane slipped into the hot springs and was impressed to say the least. This was the effect Alucard as going for. When she asked her questions he ignored the first but answered the second
"Forever is a long time Erwane. You are welcome to stay as long as you like however." With that Alucard took a hand and gently ran it through her long hair smiling. She was certainly an extraordinary creature. Wrapping his other free hand around her waist, he drew the halfing onto his lap, and let his hand dance upon her bare skin, exploring the generous curves of her body. Alucard then leaned forward and nibbled on her ear very gently, making sure not to draw blood as he whispered
"How does one with the figure of a model end up becoming a thief? You could be famous with beauty such as yours." He smiled and rested his hands on her curved hips before he continued to tease her slightly. He was certainly fascinated by this one. Wondering if she was ticklish anywhere, he took his finger and allowed it to trace an outline of her belly button paying close attention to see if it elicited a response. Once he had made sure that she was distracted he continued with their previous conversation
"Finding a buyer for the sword will be very easy. There are many wealthy noblemen that would jump at a chance to buy such a unique item. Once it has been sold you are free to do as you please. But you do seem to enjoy my home. Why not stay here and live with me. I do grow tired of being lonely in a huge house." He slowly kissed her neck and laughed as he continued
"Besides.. we have only begun to breach the beginning of our time together."

Erwane's eyes opened the minute Alucard's hand went threw her hair. She looked at him surprised and blushed a little as he pulled her closer. She could have pushed away but was too surprised at the moment. Or perhaps she didn't want to. She really didn't have much room for thinking once he began trailing his hands over her. How just his touch could effect her so much, she didn't know nor care. It left her skin feeling warm and her all too aware of their proximity.
Her face flushed with heat when he whispered in her ear. "W-Well, thievery does keep one... in shape," she tried to joke. It didn't come out all that smoothly. Her breathing wasn't exactly normal at the moment. As his finger continued to move, her heartbeat picked up as well.
Alucard's trail of conversation didn't make sense. He was talking about the sword again. She didn't care about that sword at the moment. Yet, it suddenly turned to him suggesting they live together. She hesitated, even with his doing a very good job of distracting her. He was playing dirty. Right now she was practically puddy in his hands. Yet, if she did try and think about it, where else did she have to go? A cheap inn? Some empty mansion? Everything here had more appeal. The person here had more appeal.
She leaned against him, exposing more of her neck as he kissed it. "I'll stay." she answered, a little breathlessly. Turning her head and looking him the eye, she added, "With you."
Erwane placed her hands on his arms, moving them down over his strong limbs until they were over his hands.

As she turned her head and declared that she would live with him, his smile turned into a wide toothy grin, allowing his fangs to come into clear view. It was apparent that she was also enjoying their time together as her breathing had become sporadic, and her heartbeat had sped up a significant amount. To Alucard or any vampire for that matter, that sound was like sweet nectar. As she trailed her hands down his arms until they reached the destination of his hands he gently took her hands in his own and entwined their fingers together. He kissed her neck lightly once more before he gently breached her skin with one of his fangs and gently licked the droplets of blood that sprang from her neck. Before she had any time to react however he had turned her around so her back was against the rocks of the springs and leaned forward and gently kissed her on the lips. He didn't linger on her lips long after they parted he whispered into her ear
"you will not regret your decision Erwane. I will keep you safe, always. Never forget that."
He nuzzled the side of her face with his own and gently squeezed her hands as he leaned forward and continued to lick up the small droplets of blood that slowly came from her neck. He looked up to Erwane and kissed her once more, but this time he wasn't as quick about it. He let his tounge dart around her lips and he bit on her lower lip playfully without drawing blood as they pulled apart. Alucard looked down to her neck once more and grit his teeth as he let out a grunt
"May I have the pleasure of drinking from you? I will not do so unless you allow it."

Erwane gasped a little as he nicked her neck. She really barely noticed it. It had been his fangs against her skin that surprised her. Then she was against the rocks with him kissed her lightly. It was teasing, leaving her wanting more.
"Alucard." she sighed softly, as he whispered in her ear. A From anyone else, such word might have earned scorn from her. Many had claimed to want to protect her. It funny that this vampire was the only one she believed.
Alucard kissed her again, this time more. She kissed him back, reveling in it. Her hands gripped his tightly. If they hadn't been entwined with his, they would have been around him, pulling him closer. She was panting as he pulled away.
His question took a second to register. Erwane stared at him for a moment, her gaze becoming considerate. Then she exposed her bleeding neck. "Drink. You have my permission." she agreed with a slight smile.
When his fangs came she shuddered, but not with fear or revulsion. It didn't hurt this time. For that, she was grateful. She managed to pull her hands from his, wrapping them around him. Closing her eyes, she pulled him closer.

When Erwane exposed her neck to him and gave him permission he sunk his fangs into her exposed neck and let out a load moan as her blood touched his tounge. There was something about her blood that made him go wild, he couldn't put his finger on it. But whatever it was it certainly did the trick. He fed on her for a minute before pulling away and looking deeply into her eyes and smiled at her She had wrapped her arms around him and pulled her closer closing the gap between the two of them. He ran his hands down her back until they reached her butt and cupped it squeezing it lovingly before he yanked her up and wrapped his legs around his waist and proceeded to kiss her feverishly, her heartbeat was echoing in his ears. If Alucard needed to breath he would also be as breathless as Erwane, but being undead he had more time to dedicate to the kiss. Once he broke apart again he licked his lips and chuckled
"Allow me to show you what over three thousand years of experience in love making has to offer."
His smile turned into an evil smirk as he stripped the rest of her clothes off and dipped his head under the water

Erwane lay with Alucard on his large bed. Lazily, she ran her hands threw his hair. She was exhausted, but completely satisfied and happy. She got the idea that he could have kept it up. However, her own endurance had limits. How unfortunate.
She was already half sleep. Her eyes wouldn't open anymore. "I almost can't believe that this isn't a dream." she mumbled. "I don't want... to sleep...." Her breathing evened out as consciousness took her anyway. She rested peaceful in his arms.

It was a couple of months later that Erwane found herself throwing up yet again. This had been happening off and on for awhile, and becoming a little more frequent. At first she thought it was a stomach bug. But she was starting to wonder. It didn't go away and she didn't feel sick in between.
Was it really possible? Alucard was undead. They couldn't conceive, right? Yet, her increased appetite and the odd smells she was aware of couldn't be her imagination. Her cycle hadn't come either.
There was no way Erwane could ignore this. She was pregnant. There was no other explanation. She stood and cleaned herself. It was time to find her lover. How would he react when she told him?

Over the last few months the mansion seemed to come more alive, as most of the cobwebs had been brushed off, and all the old rooms that were not in use had seen the light of day once more, except for their room of course, which was always dark except for external lighting sources. Alucard however was preoccupied with other things, for the last few months he had tried procuring a buyer for the sword that they stolen. But to his surprise no one seemed to want the holy heirloom, or perhaps it was that he was asking far to high a price. But in the end Alucard knew they would find someone. For they did have a one of a kind item. Currently he was residing in one of his studies going through many old books that he had written down all of his old contacts on. As many of the books were around a thousand years of age however this was of little use, as all of them were deceased. Alucard had found a few more contacts by using the family name however and was currently in negotiations with a few noble houses regarding purchases of the sword. They were trying to lowball Alucard however, and this annoyed him greatly. He had been doing business such as this for thousands of years, and the petty arguments they used to lower the prices were agitating to say the least. He sat at his desk with his face in his hands as he let out a long sigh as his hands scuffled his long silver hair. Some mortals were such idiots he had forgotten that fact as he had spent most of his time with Alicia and her alone for a very long period of time. That or he had Alnsworth do the negotiating, but for an artifact such as this and for the class of people they had to deal with Alnsworth was not up for such a task.

Alucard leaned back in his chair as his lover walked through the doorway. He smiled "Ahhh my lovely Erwane a vision of beauty as always." He remarked standing from his chair and walking over to her gently planting a kiss on her lips. With that he picked her up bridal style and went back over to the chair and sat down but gently put Erwane on his lap as he sighed.
"These noblemen act like such children at points, I remember now why I sent Alnsworth to do such duties." He shook his head and gently brushed a strand of loose hair behind her ear as he chuckled
"But enough of my whining, how are you feeling my love?"

Erwane couldn't help but giggle a little as Alucard kissed her before carrying her in his usually slightly flamboyant way. She liked it when he treated her like this. He nearly spoiled her really, so she tried not to let him get away with too much.
"Are you still looking for a buyer?" she asked briefly distracted. "At this rate we might as well keep that sword, or put it in a museum. We're not hurting for money." She shook her head. "I think I used to use flirting on negotiating. It worked well when selling." she remarked just to tease him.
However, she came here for a reason. This was getting off track. "I got sick again." she answered his question truthfully. "I'm fine now, but... I know why it keeps happening." Her smile wavered as nervousness took over. She took a deep breath. "Alucard," she said, taking his hand in hers, "I'm pregnant." She studied his face, waiting for his reaction. "My "time of the month" hasn't come, if that helps prove it. But I know I'm right." She felt she needed to explain a little more so he couldn't brush it off. She looked down at their hands, awaiting his reply.

When his lover remarked that she used to flirt to help sell things the vampire gritted his teeth together and shook his head
"very funny." He grunted and saw that her smile had started to fade slowly and she had a more serious look on her face. Alucard raised an eyebrow to this it was a rare occasion the Erwane wasn't joking with him or had a truthful smile on her face. He even felt her hands gripping his rather tightly, this was certainly odd to say the least. When she replied that she was pregnant Alucard's smirk turned into a look of confusion. Pregnancy? How was that possible he was undead it should be rendered ineffective. He blinked a few times and looked down at their hands as well before he replied
"Is it even possible my love? There is certainly one way to find out."
He stood Erwane up from the chair and got down on both of his knees. He then lifted up Erwane's shirt so her tummy was revealed to him. Alucard had noticed she seemed to be putting on weight, but he thought it was due to their lovemaking session's wearing her out, so she ate more to compensate. His suspicions were correct. Her tummy had grown a slight bit. He put his palm flat on the surface and nodded
"You are getting a little thicker around the middle." he smiled and joked
"and here I thought I was fattening you up so you wouldn't be able to run when I wanted to feed " He chuckled and expected to get bonked on the head for that comment, but with closer inspection her hips had seemed to grow as well, She still had a gorgeous hourglass figure, she was just a little wider than she was before. Alucard put his ear to her tummy and listened for a good bit before his eyes opened he could hear something. It wasn't a heartbeat, but something was happening in there all right, erwane was right. She was pregnant. Alucard then kissed her tummy lovingly and smiled up towards his lover
"You really are pregnant! This is amazing news love! I don't have any idea how this happened, but this is great!"

Erwane waited patiently as Alucard inspected her. She nearly did hit him on the head for that fat comment. However, she held back for the sake of him proving that she really was carrying his child. Looking now, she did noticed her belly wasn't so flat anymore like he said.
She couldn't help but smile as he listened. It widened as he kissed her. She felt a sense of relief. She didn't know what she had been expecting from him but his reaction made her happy. It was then that it hit her.
"It's a little miracle. We're having a baby!" she laughed. She ran her hands through Alucard's hair. She looked away thoughtfully. "I wonder how far along I am. A month maybe?" It was hard to tell. She wasn't exactly sure when she first had any symptoms.
However, she didn't have long to dwell on it before he stomach rumbled. Long enough that you didn't have to had keen ears to hear it. She sighed. "You just got rid of everything I fed you this morning." Erwane whined.
It was already close to the time she had lunch anyway. Living with Alucard had effectively made her nocturnal, though she did like to see the sunset now and then. The switch over hadn't been too hard. She already had a similar schedule. She like this better though. Living here was the first time she felt like settling down. Especially now. Yet, she still had a slight fear that the need to move would come over her one day.
Erwane didn't dwell on that. "I guess I'll tell Alnsworth to have one of the maids bring me something." They now had a full staff to keep up with the mansion. The butler was in his element running the house. He seemed to be quite happy.

He was extremely excited at the news that she was carrying his child, but it also made him very nervous at the same time. A human should never be able to become pregnant from a vampire, this is the first time he had ever heard of something like this happening. He knew that it had to come from some sort of supernatural means, but he was not going to worry his lover just yet. Alucard raised an eyebrow as she asked how far along she was before he tapped his chin in thought
"Hm.. My guess would be around a month and a half. You've been having the stomach problems for around that time." Before he could gather any of his other thoughts her stomach grumbled loudly and his smile reappeared as he chuckled and shook his head, and took his lover and laid her down on the chair
"You shall do no such thing, I will bring you your lunch, you just stay here and relax. Alucard disappeared before Erwane could blink and with his speed ran to the kitchen. The maids who were recently hired were already a small feast when Alucard appeared. At this Alucard smiled and nodded toward the two maids and simply said
"Make sure you double up her portions, my love is eating for two now."
Both of the maids smiled and hugged Alucard and congratulated him of the great news. The vampire nodded to the maids and allowed them to continue their work. Within a few minutes they had finished the cooking, and handed Alucard enough food to feed at least three people. With that the vampire politely thanked them and walked off back to the study. He held the tray of food with one hand, and walked over to his lover and picked her up with the other, he then proceeded to walk up the steps to their master bedroom and laid his lover on their bed, as he walked over to a nearby bedside table that had a glass of blood already in a champagne glass, and started sipping on it. he walked back over to his lover and kissed her on the forehead and then kissed her belly with a smile.
"Eat up my love, you are eating for two now."
To say that Alucard had brought her a feast was an understatement. The tray that it came on almost was as long as their bed was.

Erwane awaited her lunch patiently. She was long since used to Alucard's appearances and disappearances. Although they still made her jump every now and then. She looked through the papers on his desk as she waited. There really were so many nobles who didn't want that sword. It made her increasingly curious. She hoped to find some history on the holy relic in the massive library here. So far she only found vague descriptions. It was a start.
Alucard returned with a feast on the tray. Scooping her up again and whisking her to the bedroom. She laughed as he set her down again. "I'm pregnant, Darling." she said, "Not broken." Her smile turned warm, when he kissed her and her belly. This must be amazing for him. Three thousand years old and this was probably the first time something had surprised him in awhile. To think vampire could have offspring. Undead really didn't fit them then.
Erwane didn't hesitate to eat when bidden, putting aside her contemplation for now. She didn't think she would eat all of the food he brought. She was eating for just two. He had piled at least twice as much on the tray.
She leaned back once she had her fill, sighing contently. She glance over the remaining food. There was still a lot on the plate, but she eaten a bit more than she expected too. She was sure that the rest could be saved or something.
"That was delicious." she said. "I just hope that it stays where it is for some time." She patted her belly gently. Letting her hands rest there, she turned thoughtful. A frown crept across her face.
"This child is half vampire. Will there be any... unusual symptoms?" she asked. Her mind was trying to go over the possibilities. But this was a first for her. First child. To a vampire no less. That didn't exactly make this normal.

As his lover commented on the fact that she was pregnant, and not broken Alucard chuckled and turned to his lover
"This is true, but you should be treated like a proper lady. And being pregnant I should take extra good care of you, that is what a true lord does."
he quickly finished the remnants of the blood and sat the empty glass down on their bedside table before he joined Erwane on the bed and assumed the spot behind her taking the big spoon. He watched as she finished her lunch and claimed it was delicious as her hands rested on her growing belly. Being fascinated with it himself he gently lifted her shirt and entwined their hands atop her belly, gently rubbing the growing surface in smalls circles as he pondered the questions she asked him. He was silent for quite some time as the look on his face was stern. After what seemed like several minutes he replied
"Honestly love... Its hard to say. This is the first time I've ever heard of a pregnancy with a vampire. There could be multiple side effects.. There is a high possibility it will grow faster than most children would, as I suppose vampire's would develop faster than mortal children. I am going to guess that you are going to eat a lot more than a normal pregnancy as well, because our child will absorb nutrients faster than other children. That could explain why you are always hungry. It could also be a possibility that you need to start drinking blood, as the child might not be nourished by food alone. To be safe I don't want you going anywhere near the sun for now. You both might have an allergic reaction to it..."

By this point Alucard realized he was rambling and he by no means wanted to stress Erwane out, so he stopped and with his free hand reached over to the bedside table and opened a drawer. He pulled out a small box with the word Belgian stamped on it. He opened the small box and pulled out a chocolate from it and lay the box near the two of them. From his experience with mortals he had learned all pregnant women loved sweets, and he had noticed that Erwane liked to snack on them after they had made love. He gently rubbed the chocolate around her lips teasing her with it before he gently slipped it into her mouth. There was one other thing that he dare not mention until he had done research on the matter, as he did not want her to frightened for any reason. He fed her a few more chocolates in the same fashion as before before he smiled and looked down to her belly once more rubbed his hand along it once more a gleam seemed to be in his eye
"I still can't believe your carrying our child within you... That is the best news I have heard in over two thousand years."
Alucard let out a deep hearty chuckle as he added on
"And your blood will be very sweet if I continue to feed you like this... Although I think it would be wise if I don't feed on you. I don't want to risk anything."
He nuzzled his head into her neck let out a content sigh, for once in his life things were peaceful. He would make sure that they remained this way.
