"Right. I'm Karia." Karia couldn't help but smile a little at the woman's upbeat personality. Drawing from the little sword skills she knew from watching an old friend of hers, she assumed what she hoped was a good defensive stance.

"I will assume that from your positioning, that you are a novice. May I ask what your reasoning for learning the way of the sword is?d" Edela wished to know everything about her students, and she didn't care how rude she came off doing it. She took her stance, gripping the handle with both hands, held forward with her right foot forward and her left foot back.

Hearing Edela's question, Karia thought a bit. Why did she come here? Of course she wasn't going to say she was simply bored with her gym class and had merely ducked into the nearest room she could find, so she decided on, "For self-defense I suppose, and it doesn't hurt to learn something new." Seeing the woman move, Karia adjusted accordingly and copied her stance.

Charlie bounced in, excited that she had successfully managed to locate the Kendo club. "This is so my thing!" she thought to herself. Upon crossing into the sparkling wooden room, she spied a woman, whom she assumed must be the teacher, and another student. Realizing they were fighting with wooden sticks, she hesitantly put her bag on the floor by the wall and gingerly laid her katana beside of it. "Alright Ms. Teacher, I'm ready to start!" She said eagerly.
