[PRP] An Innocent Snow {Void/Yuuki}

Yuuki's cheeks started to burn with a blush. She knew he was teasing her about the questions and giving her a playful hard time. How did she know this? She had no clue but she did know that was what he was doing. "I will do my best to limit my questions and I seem to get enough rest with me staying up and thinking of questions," she told him before playfully sticking out her tongue and giggling.

Void had a wicked smirk on his face when he noticed the blush on hers. "As I mentioned. I do not mind the questions." He chuckled more. "I know how frustrating it can get when you have a question, fall asleep, then lose it. I don't mind staying up." He said it firmly. She wouldn't change his decision.

"Alright than I have one last question or questions that involve each other than I'll leave it before the night," She told him while settling down in her bed. "Why is it that you are being nice to me/ helping me?"

"My mother always raised me to be polite. Especially toward females. She taught us not to look at others for what they are but for who they are." He eyed Yuuki. "You didn't seem to have a place to go. I don't even think you know this land very well, and you wouldn't have saw the signs of a blizzard. I would have felt guilty if something as innocent and pure as freshly fallen snow was found buried in it." Void got up and took the scarf she had given to him, walked over and wrapped around her carefully. "You'll need it tonight. It will get cold."

Yuuki smiled at him as she listened to him talk. That was a decent trait and she really liked it. "Your mother raised you well. I feel there aren't to many in the world that would be kind enough or look past the differences to do what you did. Though you are completely right. I probably would have ended up frozen some where." she blushed again as he put her scarf back around her neck. "Thank you."

"She has." He nodded at her when she said thanks. He went back to his spot on the pillow and got comfortable yet again. He let out a sigh, it wasn't a tired sigh but a relaxed sigh. He also kept an eye on the fire. It wouldn't be very good if he rescued her from the cold to keep her in it. "Get some rest, Yuuki. I'll be awake if you need anything." He nodded at her again.

Yuuki smiled again and curled up into a ball. "Don't forget to get some rest for yourself as well," She warned as she tried to fight off a yawn but it really wasn't successful she still ended up yawning. She wrapped her wings around herself and stared at the fire.

"I will. Don't worry." His eyes mostly drifted from the fire to the vixen sleeping across from him. From time to time she saw her shiver in her sleep. He eventually threw a blanket over her.

-Time Skip-

It was the next morning and the blizzard had died down slightly. Void took the opportunity to get water for them. They had plenty of food to last the morning. He hoped Yuuki wouldn't wake up while he was away.

Yuuki snuggled into the blanket that Void had tossed over her. It was a very comfortable and warm. It almost seemed to put her under an enthrall where she didn't want to wake up. Her tail had managed to slip out from the blanket and could feel the cold air. This caused her to shiver and tremble.

When Void returned his coat was covered with snow. He shook it off and set clumps of ice in the back of the cave. He knew it would melt eventually or if they didn't want to wait they could suck or lick it. Luckily, the cave had a dip where the melted water could collect.

He went back to his spot and looked over at Yuuki, who was twitching. He frowned. Then noticed her tail was exposed. So he fixed that and add more wood to the fire. The fresh wood made the fire burn hotter. Making it much warmer in the cave.

As the blanket got dragged back over Yuuki's tail she instantly became still and wasn't having any fits in her sleep. She unknowingly let out a purr in contentment from the warmth that her body could feel and the comfort of it. She shifted slightly causing her hair to tumble one way exposing her face for viewing.

Void looked down at the girl as her fits stopped. She probably was the type to sleep in. He shrugged and took his spot across the cave. If she didn't wake up in an hour or so he'd go ahead and eat. For now he would wait.
As he wondered what she was dreaming about. She seemed comfy and warm. He rested his head hi head on his paws. Closing his eyes to rest them. He was a little sore from having to fight the winds as well.

Yuuki slept for another ten to twenty minutes. The cold weather seemed to be zapping her energy out of her energetic self. As she woke her eyes fluttered open and she stretched while yawning. Her wings spread out casting a shadow over the cave floor and wall. They soon folded up against her back as she blinked a couple times waiting for her eyes to focus and glanced around.

She found Void not laying far of watching or staring at her, she wasn't sure which. A blush creeped a crossed her cheeks and she stuttered out an apology for sleeping in some.

"Good afternoon." He got up and stretched a bit. It was about time she woke up. He tossed a piece of meat at her. "Eat. It will help get your body temperature up." He sat back on his haunches. "If you want to warm it a bit toss it on the fire." He just hoped the smell of cooking meat wouldn't attract unwanted visitors.
