Critical looked at the little filly who had come running to him, he moved to help her but stopped when he heard what she was saying. He didn't do this. It was his fault. All he tried to do was help everypony. Critical watched as the filly ran away crying, he took off flying back to Canterlot. The doors of the throne room were pushed open as Critical walked up to Luna, ripping his armor from his wings and body. "No one else made it back, Silver Lilly and Chrysalis were trying to take over Canterlot with some beast but my team gave their lives to stop it. Their blood is on my hooves, I'm leaving the royal guard. Send help to Cloudsdale." Critical spewed out as he finished removing his armor and walked out of the throne room his body trembling a little. As he left the castle he looked down at Dusk's necklace. He'd best deliver this back to Aurora. Critical took inhaled slowly, shuddering a little as he did then he made his way to Dusk's house. He stood outside the house for a moment before finally lifting a hoof and knocking on the door.

Aurora had got up from her bed as she was sleeping hearing the knocking on the door as she turned on a lamp that was next to her bed side as she started to make she way to the door she opened it to see a friends face in Critical as she offered him to come in ''Hello Critical please come in what brings you here at such an hour is everything alright'' Aurora said

Critical looked at Aurora, not moving from his spot as his mind pondered how to tell her. "Aurora... I don't know..." Critical said looking down at the ground momentarily before looking back up to Aurora. "Dusk... he didn't make it." Critical said as tears escape his eyes once again, his body too started to tremble. "I'm so sorry... he died to protect me... I couldn't bring them home." Critical continued his tears becoming more as his body finally broke down along with his mind. "They're all dead! And it's my fault." Critical said as his voice turned to a faint whisper. "I'm so sorry... Dusk..." Critical said reaching for the necklace. "He would have wanted Dawn to have this." Critical placed the necklace in Aurora's hoof.

Aurora looked at Critical, than to the necklace her mind had not seemed to take the words that came from Critical's lips ''he..he .can't be gone your joking Critical please stop messing with me tell Dusk ..to come..out..'' Aurora looked back to Critical seeing his had not changed as tears started to fall down her face as she dropped to the ground holding the necklace of her lover in her hoofs ''Dusk ..dusk ..my love please return to me'' Aurora grabbed hold of Critical as she started to cry her body was shaking just as much as Critical as she looked back into her house to a photo of her family ''there all gone ..Dusk..Dawn..my loves are gone .there is nothing now'' Aurora let go of Critical as she started to walk back into her house as she turned to look at Critical ''....I don't know how to feel about you ..you couldn't save him..but he lives on a piece of him lives on but he is lost right now ..please for me you must watch over him ..for me there will always be a place here if you need somewhere to stay ..just please watch over Dusk's legacy'' Aurora said as she closed the door on him

Critical looked at the ground as Aurora closed the door, he turned and looked up to the castle. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean for any of this to happen..." His voice whispered as he walked away from Aurora's house wondering where he would go. Cloudsdale his hometown was in ruin and he had resigned from the royal guard after losing his friends staying would just bring back more memories of them and shame for him. "Manehattan." Critical murmured as he walked away from the Canterlot gates but first he had to do something, they may be gone but they can't be forgotten and left to rot. Critical spread his wings and turned direction taking off. The next day one of the guards opened the door of the throne room. "Princess, I have urgent news. The royal guard they've been found. We were given a route to follow so we could find them, when we got there we found them. We have them boxed up... some of it isn't a pretty sight. Most of them have missing armor pieces and other equipment but the one with the bow... only his corpse... it looks like he had suffered burns or something." The guard said.

Princess Luna had jumped outta her throne as she rushed her way down to her guard that told her such news upon locating the bodies of her royal guard Princess Luna still didn't know what to do with Critical he had left the royal guard but she had mixed feelings about the whole thing four deaths and many ponies killed in Cloudsdale it would be said that Critical was the reason they attacked there Princess Luna stomped her hoof so hard on the ground her normal guards that where standing around fell to the ground as she flew out into the night sky Princess Luna was scanning the area around the cave where her royal guards where killed at she felt a chill go up her spine as she flew passed it as a tear rolled down her face onto the ground as keep on flying making her way to
Cloudsdale to see the damage that had been caused from the attack after everything had been over what she saw made her speechless as she stepped her hooves onto the dark clouds looking at the city destroyed Princess Luna shook her head as she flew away to keep looking as she was still flying she spotted Critical who was on the ground walking as she landed in front of him blocking his path she opened her wings open in front of him keeping him from leaving ''Where Do You Think Thou Is Going?'' Princess Luna said as she started talking in her royal Canterlot voice Princess Luna walked closer to him pushing him back ''Thou Thinks You Can Just Ran Away Fom What Has Happened ..No Your Wrong ..What Has Happened Is Done And There Blood Is On Your Hoov....'' Princess Luna voice started to fade form royal Canterlot back to normal as she started to cry ''they died cause of you I told you ..I thought you would keep them safe but not only you got your team killed countless ponies where killed in the attack on Cloudsdale because of you even though you pushed most of them back the damage was done ...'' Princess Luna said as she just stood there not looking at him..a frown came onto Princess Luna's face as she looked back to him ''thou knows what I must do to you correct ? '' Princess Luna said as she looked at Critical

Critical looked at the ground, his voice coming out low - his spirit broken. "You think I don't know that their blood is on my hooves? You think I didn't I'm the one to blame?" He asked raising his head to Luna. "I didn't just lost my team." He stated, his voice turning to a shout. "I lost my ******** brothers. My brothers, the only family I've ever known and they're all dead because of me." Critical said his voice returning to normal. "There is nothing left for me here - I choose to run because I can't stay here knowing that I let everypony down." Critical stated lowly. "What are you going to do? I suppose you're going to parade me around Canterlot - the famous Critical who basically murdered his team and destroyed Cloudsdale finally captured by Luna's guard. Then you'll have me thrown in a prison cell to rot." Critical said.

Princess Luna closed her wings as she walked away not looking at Critical as the moon was shining down on her and making her coat shine a bright dark blue as she looked back at him again ''Thou will never come back here again..you must never come to Cantertlot again nor to Cloudsdale you know everyponies deaths are with you and you will have them with you forever remember there faces your friends .your brothers and sisters your team remember them as they where your family '' Princess Luna said as she looked into the night sky as her eyes glow up removing any clouds that where over head ''This night dawns your biggest failure as a leader and your new start to find out who your are the path you may take is up to you would you go after the monster that killed your friends or have you already become that monster ..nor the moon or sun can tell you this it's up to you to find this out for yourself Critical '' Princess Luna said as she started to open her wings as she gave them a flap taking off the ground as she looked back to Critical again ''The tail of the cursed crescent where my your path take you may the sun and moon watch over you '' Princess stopped before flying away to say one last thing to Critical ''a Dawn can't rise if it always is running away from it's problem and a crescent moon is always lost looking for something to make is complete ....what is it that will make you complete Critical you once you find that I will return to you and you would have become the leader I thought I saw in you so long ago..my dear little pony'' Princess Luna said as she flew away...As Princess Luna was gone making her way back to Canterlot Critical was still standing there as a voice called out to him ''So is it true ...'' the voice called out as Dawn walked out from behind a nearby tree he had listened to the whole thing ''my father died under your lead and all I have to remember him by his this neacklace'' Dawn said as he looked into his hoof at the necklace as tears where rolling down his face Dawn looked back up at Critical ''...............why..whhy.couldn't you just save them ...I lost a father because of you..'' Dawn said as he started to laughed as fire started to form around him as he changed into his true form...which was Queen Chrysalis as she laughed walking closer to Critical ''What an interesting plan I have .using Dawn's rage to go after you ..what do you think? I could just twist his mind and bang your best friends son is working under me to take down Canterlot but the way I will tell him is it's just to go after you..seems I just have to work a few bugs out of this plan and such but that's just a small piece of what I'm planning on doing my master wants me to speed things up a bit '' Chrysalis said as she walked pass Critcial ''Don't plan of trying to stop me remember what happened your down a whole team and outcasted from your home I mean what else could you lose maybe your life but seems like you care highly of that after your team was killed right running for your life like a little filly what a shame it's kinda cute but you just stick around everything is going to change just you wait '' she said as she left as fast as she came leaving him with those words

Critical sighed. "Yeah. How can you expect..." Critical said stopping himself. "I can't beat the monster that killed my team when everyone thinks I am the monster." Critical exhaled looking over as Chrysalis appeared, ignoring her words as she left Critical turned his sights to the direction of Manehattan, an old friend of his was residing there perhaps he could fall in alongside him and start a new life. What was there left here? Luna hated him, Dawn probably hated him too, Chrysalis was a complete b***h and he lost everypony he ever cared about. There was nothing to salvage from the wreckage. Nothing left. Critical sighed and spread his wings for take off as he took off from the ground, taking into the sky and heading in the known direction of Manehattan.
