Naru smiled for a moment as he looked at his friend across the field. The wires were already attached as he launched the shuriken towards Syn. Two of them would aim directly for Syns chest while the third and forth would break just to either side of the man a couple feet before they made impact with him. There goal would be to wrap around Syns legs and trip him. As the shurikens reached him Naru began to charge as he yanked the strings forward for the shurikens to come together and tie up his friends legs. Jumping up as he let go of the strings he threw a few of his kunia with the explosive tags he had made attached to them over Syns head. He wouldn't make it easy for his friend to dodge his attacks.

Oh he loved his eyes, he was able to read his every move, he could see everything. Drawing his over sized blade, his training with it always kicked int, when it came to weapons he was the master. 'Deflection Two.' The incoming attack was deflected, and turned away from him. With his ungodly strength and agility, dodging what he had thrown at him was easy as well. So deflecting some, and dodging the rest he smirked. "Come on bro... You forget who is the master of four tai styles, and six buki styles..." Saying as he quickly pulled what looked likeKage Bunshin no Jutsu but was really Bunshin Bakuha. Meaning at any time he would have the clone explode. But Naru would never know.

Naru watched his friend dodge the projectiles and shuriken with ease. He smiled seeing that the kunia he threw over Syns head had hit the indicated trees he hand intended not far behind the man. As the clone come towards him for an attack he dodged one of its punches and flipped backwards. Making a couple handseals a water whip appeared in Narus hand. As quickly as it formed Naru sent out a lashing blow at the clone before bringing the whip back around this time encasing it with lighting and sending it towards the clones heart. Once it would connect Naru would jump back once more just incase his friend had indeed made an explosion clone.

"Ah my friend I think you have forgotten about my analytical prowess for battle." He said smiling as he formed a few more handseals and a small tidal wave appeared behind him as it began to rush over the battlefield towards Syn. Now standing on the new landscape Naru laughed a bit. "So what is your next move." He asked as he stood tall upon the waters surface.

The clone was smart, and pulled the replacement technique. With the clone standing next to him. "No I never forget, you of all people should remember that... I always remember." Looking at the clone, they both stabbed their swords within the ground, and performed seven different hand signs. Placing the final seal next to their lips, they spoke. "Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu..." With that fire spewed from their lips like a flame thrower. With it heading towards Naru, of course he wouldn't hurt his best friend, but he would stop it before he would badly hurt him.

The flame reached him at an enormous speed which didn't surprise Naru in the least. Quickly forming the handseals once he saw the man he performed the transformation technique. In just the knick of time the main blast hit the clone causing the log to crumble into a pile of ash. Feeling the heat from the blaze Naru quickly ran around the flame activating his eye. Rushing towards Syn he smiled a bit. "You know what they say about if you can't handle the heat." He said with a smile as he barrelled down on Syn. It was a close call indeed he knew such a technique could easily cut off his ability to use water due to its immense heat. Crouching down he quickly unleashed two fast strikes towards the mans chest. However if they connected the blows would be just light taps allowing Naru to attach two of his strings to the mans body.

There was a reason why he was the best, and when he seen his friend starting to dodge. He and the clone switched spots so fast, only a high ranked Uchiha like himself would have been able to see it. But as soon as Naru touched the clone, Syn jumped ten feet away. Pulling a single hand seal, the clone exploded. "That was a blast..." It was a stupid pun, but he knew it would both make them laugh. Which was true, because saying it made him laugh. Quickly he grabbed his sword, and pulled mass shadow clone, meaning there was now ten of him.

Naru smiled as his friend let go of more clones. Whether he had realized it or not Syn had jumped into his trap. Taking the explosion in his hands Naru was pushed back a bit landing on his hands and one knee. Grabbing a fan from his flak jacket he quickly released it towards one of the trees a little ways behind Syn where he had thrown the kunia earlier. Dodging one of the clones techniques he jumped and caught the fan embuing it with chakra before releasing it once more to cut the second tree. As the fan came back to him once more he let the momentum of one of the clones punches push him back a little taking him out of the range of the blast which was to come. Weaving his hands once more he smiled as he watched the trees fall towards Syns back. The kunias would explode causing shards of the trees to hail down on Syn as well as the blast itself. "You can't have all the fun." He said as another clone barrelled down on him.

His friend was good, there was a reason why he became the Hokage, and then there was the reason why he was his best friend, the only person who could match him. After all his clones had popped, he learned all that he needed. He seen everywhere, with his sword, he turn, but he didn't use the sword, but another ninjutsu. "Katon Shunshin no Jutsu..." Within a second he vanished from the spot, and was then behind his friend. "You haven't lost your touch, but I learned a thing or two while I was gone." Saying as he had his sword against the throat of his friend. "The trick about Shadow clone, I learn everything they learn... It's why I trained so fast... I pulled them so I could see everything... Shadow clone plus sharingan... Nothing gets past me." Saying as he laughed lightly.

Naru watched the action as the trees crashed into his self made lake in a splash of glory as his friend had vanished into thin air. If anything he would take the precaution in case of the worst case scenario. Letting a shuushi tag slid from his sleeve into his hand he smiled. The instant he felt the blade to his throat the tag would hit Syn slyly in his leg. For a moment he stood still as Syn spoke making him think that he was really stuck there.Yes your skills have definetely improved quite a bit but..." He said as he put his left index finger up to the blade and pushed it away knowing that syn was fully under the seals power. Walking out away from the man he turned around and smiled. "I told you never to trust a sealer at close range. Seems you would be kind of stuck huh. He said looking down at the stop tag which would be firmly attatched to Syns leg making him a sitting duck.

'Oh he is good..." He remember the last time he pulled this, he got a tail from Nibi to break out of it. Of course he could use the black fame on him. But it wasn't worth going blind to win this. 'Syn, he got you, just give up...' Who did she think he was. 'I need a tail... You know when.' "I could go one tail and break it... Or use the black fire from my eye, but using the next stage on this isn't worth going blind..." With that, he used the power from his two tail to break free from it. Unless it was a five prong seal, he could break it. But he used half a tail to do it. Laughing he smiled at his friend. "Yeah... So lets call this a draw before one of us gets badly hurt, and they are out a Hokage, and a top rank Sannin." Saying with a smile as he walked over to his friend.

Naru smiled as he watched the tail pick off his seal allowing Syn to move once more. Frowning a bit he tapped his foot against the water below him making it ripple. "Darn you mean I can't have my water demon chase you around for a bit." He said as a smile broke across his face as he began to laugh at Syn. "Well I suppose it is to be expected. My duties now no longer allow the occasion hospital visit for messing around huh." He said rubbing his left hand across the leaf kanji on his neck. Stopping this match so suddenly once again brought back the reality of what being kage really meant. He was no longer going to be able to train until his blood spilled rampantly across the floor of the training ground. Looking up at his friend once more his smile was a bit somber clearly speaking of his current mindset."Well my dear friend what now. Until there is sign of action we are at a standstill." He said as the two once more began to walk away from the training grounds. "I wish to hold council with the other kage but so far no one has responded.

He had to admit getting older sucked, and ranking up as well. Well, not really, but still, he missed being able to train his a** off, or spar with his friends until they both were in the hospital. "Yeah I know it sucks... We have to be responsible now... Oh hey how is your son?" Asking as he remembered his best friend having a kid. The last time he seen his son, he was still in school. Laughing he sighed, and ran his fingers threw his hair. "I wish I had a family..." Saying as he patted his friend on the back.

Naru thought for a moment before smiling towards Syn. He is well, has been training pretty steadily on his puppetry."He said as he walked aimlessly with his friend as they reached the ramen shop. Hearing his stomach grumble a little he smiled and nodded to his old friend. "How bout a bite, sound good to you?" He asked Syn continuing to walk in without waiting for him, although he knew his old buddy would follow. "Yeah a family is nice except I got the kid and no wife, imagine that." He said with a bit of a laugh knowing good and well Syn was one of the very few who actually knew Kriton wasn't his biological son.

As they walked he heard him speak about how well he was doing. That made him happy, because he remember the night it happened. The two of them had been hanging out, planning a mission when a knock at the door stopped them. Little known to them, his buddy Naru was about to be a dad. The two of them were very similar in that part. That was when he heard his friend talk about a bite to eat. Well he wouldn't abject to food. In fact it sounded good right about now. "Sure..."
