My dear Aunt Moonbeam,
You'll be proud to learn your niece, the early wanderer, ha had quite a few fantastic adventures over the past few years. I've battled an evil sorceress raised from the dead, met not one, but four amazing dragons, saved the world from certain destruction at the hands of an un-dead king and made many new friends. Catriona says that i am all too eager to rush into danger. But what's the fun of learning new things about the world if there isn't a good bit of danger in involved?
For now, though, mastering the art of magic is my greatest goal. I've met a wizard named Maddoc who has agreed to teach me everything he knows. Just imagine, Aunt moonbeam! It won't be long before i can take the "test of high sorcery and fulfill my destiny as the greatest kender wizard who ever lived, jut as mother predicted so many years ago.
I could fill a hunderd scrolls with all the things Maddoc has taught me so far. But since dragons have only recently returned to our world, i thought you and all the the relatives would enjoy seeing this book I've put together, chronicling what I've learned from Maddoc about the great beasts. I'm positive it won't be long before you catch sight of one of these glorious creatures hovering over Kendermore. As amazing as it will be, you should be prepared for whatever may happen!
