A light blinked on the pod sounding a soft "ping" calling Kard's attention to the two pods. The memory wipe was complete. Without a word Kard turned fully to the controls and begun to work on compiling some data so the Organoids would be ready to return to society with their new masters, when they were chosen.
"T-they do." Kard mumbled as he poured most of his focus into the pods. "My father's name s-sake... always busy..."
Sadly Lorna's comment went unanswered as focus completely shifted to the information scrolling on the information screens. His brows furrowed for a moment, a habit he had when extremely focused, and his jaw tightened. He begun to mumble something incoherently as he reviewed the data on the screens.
Across the way some guards shifted as mention of Cruse arriving was passed along. The Guard with the information switched posts with the one who had been guarding the ZOID's previously.
"That is common knowledge, when on the battle field subordinate. However, at a formal place such as this I would have expected even a simple minded child to behave as a young gentleman should." Revel gave a shrug as if to let the insult slide away. If he had been bothered by the mocking stance by Blitz it didn't show. "Of course, I give you too much credit it would seem. Perhaps this should be reported to our superiors? Everyone is well aware, I'm sure, the General would not tolerate such disrespect to a woman, soldier or civilian, while not on duty. Regardless of your poor sight I doubt you would see the end of KP duty..."
Both Private Kittson and Cadet Farthworth pulled up to either side of Revel as they drew themselves into the 'fray'. Kittson, Andrew being his first name, folded his arms across his chest while Farthworth, Michal being his first name, let his arms hang loose at his sides. Ready for a fist fight. Michal was a known brawler, he had the tightly packed body for it. His 5' 4" height only making him appear more so like a ball of muscle, and rightly earning the nickname "The Dwarf of the Republic". Even Anderw, who was 6'0", would have little hope of keeping the little man down.
"Ah, Revel, don't waste your time. He won't listen." Andrew sighed as he shook his head. "Besides, I don't think it would be wise to end up doing KP yourself... I don't think the ladies even care any more in any case."
Andrew shifted a pale gray gaze to the ladies for a moment before looking back to Blitz. He ran a finger through his shoulder length platinum blond hair, stopping where the tie was fastened keeping his hair pulled back and out of his face. A nervous tick he was known for.
"I dunno, I think a good thrashing would maybe knock some sense into the ol' cyclops's thick skull 'eh? No one's gonna bat an eye at this one gettin' into a fight." Michal grunted as he sized up Blitz. His emerald eyes bright and ready for a good fight, short red hair seemed to stand on end in anticipation.

Blitz took a look around as Reval spoke of a formal place. His finger tips scratched the tip of his chin as the male continued to speak, he would give him that.
As Harvester finished, Blitz didn't even bother to recognize the other two that walked up along side him. His ungloved finger formed to a point. "A few things..." Blitz spoke tapping the air, his head tilted as if to try to think of where to start in a list of items.
"For one, We are not in a 'formal' place." Masters spoke, and shifted his hand to scratch the corner of his jaw lazily. "Two, perhaps about the same amount of credit one could give you for not being a cheese eater nugget." The male shrugged, letting his eye slid over to look at the other two as they spoke to him. Taking in a long breath, Blitz released it with a roll of his eye.
His hidden brow rose to his sight being mocked again by the dwarf of a man. "Bravo," Blitz raised his hands and gave a slow clap to the male. "I must say. If we are going with the obvious 'banter' now. oh, do Let me start." The Cadet spoke bending down to a little as if he had a hard time seeing the shorter male. "Can you see me alright, up here?" Blitz asked 'politely', "or perhaps shall I go fetch a box?" The male seethed a mocking kindness before looking back to Andrew.
"Or shall your wife get it for you?" The Cadet looked back to Farthworth and made a nod to Kittson, point out how he seemed to want to deter the idea of a fight.

Thera was still highly offended, and pissed off, by Blitz's previous comment. She could care less what he thought of woman in the military, she preferred to be treated equally and not different because she was a woman. She was amazed, maybe she shouldn't have been, that the corporal seemed to let the man talk to him in such a disrespectful tone and with such a mocking stance.
Thera felt someone come up to her left side, she turned her head to see that Mya had come to stand next to her. She instantly recognized it wasn't in support but instead to prevent much like Sonnet over on her right, still she didn't change her posture.
As the corporal started going on about gentlemanly actions, Thera shot another glare in Blitz's direction. when she heard the words 'KP Duty,' she cringed a little. She knew exactly how much fun that wasn't. The soldiers stopped next to the Corporal, initially Thera wasn't sure which side of the argument they would take. The shorter one, only 2 inches shorter than she, seemed ready for a fight while it appeared the taller one wanted to avoid such conflict.
Thera definitely sided with the shorter, though the Cyclops comment stung a little. Blitz’s continued arrogance was starting to anger her again. When he started insulting the short cadet, she smiled, albeit angrily, knowing what would happen next. While it might not be her first choice watching the fight, was right up there in the top 3. She frowned when Mya backed away and suggested someone step in to break it up. She didn’t see the look that Mya slid her way, as she had backed herself out of the view of her good eye, but breaking it up wasn’t even a thought in her mind. She crossed her arms hands still fisted. Sonnet was appalled by the way he was talking to everyone. Who did he think he was? Still she let his comment roll off her back. If inquiring whether someone was ok or not asking someone to apologize when it isn’t your job to was considered not having a backbone, then she didn’t, so what. She didn’t have to prove herself to anyone else.
Of the two men who walked up, only one seemed prepared to escalate the situation. Unfortunately the man who bumped into Mya was looking to escalate it as well. Sonnet wasn’t 100% sure what the man’s problem was, but she was leaning towards an inferiority complex. His constant belittling of fellow soldiers and his sensitivity to the subject of apologizing leaned heavily towards that diagnosis, granted she wasn’t a trained psychologist.
When Mya started to back away from the situation, suggesting that someone go find help she stepped forward. She shot Thera a look that suggested she keep her trap shut or regret it. Putting on her ‘game’ face she stepped closer to the men. ”I think we all know that this isn’t worth it. Let’s leave this man,” She spoke levelly indicating Blitz with her hand, “to go stew in his self-pity, lest we all get in trouble for just standing by and letting this fight occur. Another option is that you guys leave the base and go take care of this in a less official place.” The last option was an effort to get the problem to leave the area for some place more suited for fights, a bar perhaps.

Relel clapped his hands slowly as the insubordinate individual in front of him created even more of a scene, and obviously *pissed* the small guy next to him off beyond what any man should be.
"I should commend you. Though, If -I- am so incompetent a person I would wonder what that would make one such as yourself. Unable to accomplish even a fraction of what I have." Revel continued to slowly clap as he spoke.
Even when Sonnet approached he held all his focus on Blitz, as a dog sizes up another dog before a fight.
"A good idea. Perhaps taking this off parameter would be better, no one else can see you, good 'sir', embarrass yourself more."
Andrew's brows furrowed at the comment. Right, clever, pick on a small man's height. Sure they would need a box. A box to put this man's corpse in after the fact. He tried to place a hand on Michal's shoulder to let him know now was not the time for a fist fight, but it was aggressively shoved. away.
"Ohhh, I can see ya just fine from down here. The lack of any thing makin' ya male ta be included. Now, how's about I remove that other eye and even ya' out? Beat the s**t outta you left, right, and center if ya know what I mean cyclops." Michal growled. His face had by now nearly become as red as his hair. Both hands curled into to nicely packed wrecking balled at his sides.
Some of the crowd had begun to circle to watch the commotion, while the others turned their heads toward the hanger swearing the could hear 'shark' music.

A smile slipped across Blitz's thin lips as he in turn gained a clap, after he had first shown his own to the males. His face was emotionless, except by the curling of his-which only made his face look all the more cruel.
"Yeah, your right." Blitz moved his hand to stretch the corner of a single eyebrow to Revel's words of 'accomplishment'. Tilting his head a little down, he paused for effect. "I don't take to licking another's a**, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth." The male spoke eying Harvester back, his head tilted with deadly precision. The teal orb of a eye slipped over to Sonnet, the chill of his single gaze hawked on her.
"See, now that strikes at amusement." The male spoke letting his head rotate slightly up to see her fully. His hand rose to point, as if to tease at a thought as he tapped the air. "Leave me?" He twisted a smile, and tossed his head arrogantly. "Hah, I only wish." the male the remarked. "After all, it is all of you." Blitz turned his eye to the others around him. " that have came to me and joined in my 'stew', I am merely handing out the bowls and serving out the dish."
"Tell me, are you full off your meal yet?" Blitz spoke tilting his head down to the male, that was first so petty to remark on his sight.
"Please, do." Mischief answered in a board sigh, "and only prove my point." Master added.
"Fools, all of you." Blitz monologue and took a step back to see them all, his arms wide as he gestured to the crowd. "I am one man, and yet-I have gotten a 'rise' out of Every. Single. One. Of. You." It caused him, for a first, to truly smile.

It was uncommon for her to be at the base, especially within the past year or so of (in)activity with matters involving of the Republic directly. She didn't want to bring her troubles to those she felt so utterly dedicated to, those she lived to protect and serve. Indirectly, of course, she'd always been intensely.. involved.. in things of unspeakable magnitudes. Things that would more or less leave her on the crazy train.
As far as what the ex-lieutenant, special forces soldier Kyrea Sakashi was doing here on this particular day had to do with the blade liger that was lent to her by the general. With Edge refusing to fuse with its core, there was no way for its minor insults to be repaired. She herself used to be a skilled mechanic, but only with her Jager. And after bonding with Edge, her skills dulled over time. She had no need to do repairs by hand. Other machines didn't run the same way, either- they didn't work quite the same way, and that left her in a position of needing assistance.
Oh how she detested that fact.
But the liger was a gift- a gift that got her farther than she would have with no zoid at all, and being zoidless was a pain when venturing through hostile environments to say the least.
Regardless of the reasons behind her presence, she was drawn by the obviously less than friendly crowd. If any one female in the Republic fit the original comment that incited this confrontation, this was probably the one. Sakashi stopped a few steps back from the group, listening to the tail-end of the snide commentary. Right behind her, as always without fail, was the vicious shadowy dragon. No runes were visible, thus nothing set him apart from the dark backdrop, his glowing blue eyes were the only visible part of him towering over the soldier's head until the overhead lights alighted on his silhouette and glittered off his stark black armor. His attention, however, was not on the group. Turning his head slightly to one side, he seemed to more be sizing up the wolf organoids within the pods and ignoring the bickering humans.
"Most people are fools." Cold grey-blue eyes passed over Blitz only briefly even though it was his words she was responding to. Rather, most of her seemingly aloof scrutiny was laid upon the ones that seemed so offended and angry. She didn't, of course, know the full extent of the abrasive conversation, but she didn't seem to have a problem inviting herself into it- perhaps acting on a remnant of her time as an active lieutenant.

((My Apologies, That last post didn't show up [I just tried refreshing the page yesterday]... I don't know why.))
Thera rolled her eyes at Blitz. They weren't the ones who had started this, his dark attitude and that corporal had. When the woman with her own personal shadow showed up, Thera had an idea of what she would do... people and their attitudes. The shadow seemed to care less about the people in front of it, but seemed intrigued by something farther away. She only cared about what was happening right here, with her anger still bubbling up to show in her eyes. She didn't like the judging look that the woman was giving her, she shifted her hands down to her sides.
Her mind was running through several scenarios, most of which involve the brawl that was about to be, until there was a soft rumble from the area where she had stopped her Liger. Thera then proceeded to do something that would have astonished anyone that actually knew her. "If you'll excuse me Prince," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm, as she turned around and stalked back towards her Zoid.
Sonnet didn't move from where she was standing. The men continued to belittle each other, obviously enjoying their little pissing match. One would think that a corporal would know better than to stir the pot. She would do her best to avoid or break up the disturbance, something that she had done before. Being tall for her gender, at 6 feet and about half an inch, she generally knew how to use that height to her advantage.
When Kyrea and Edge walked into the conversation catching the end of it, adding a comment of her own and then scrutinizing her, Thera, and Mya. It became apparent that she was only judging on what had just been said. It had always bugged Sonnet when people judged based on what they saw or heard within a few of seconds of first seeing something. "Mostly men," she quipped, "They can never seem to think with their heads when women are around." She tossed a smile at the woman, as a quick greeting. There was definitely something in the air.
She turned around as Thera spoke, then Sonnet's mouth almost dropped to the ground when Thera quit this joyful little group. It was the last thing she had expected out of her, but apparently she had developed quite a bond with her Liger recently. Even after she got it she didn't always respond like that, but now they seemed to be on the same page.

"Ha!" Left Blitz as he moved one of his wide gestured arms to gesture to Kyrea after she spoke, he had to turn himself to see her. A man couldn't help but relish the fact his point had been proven.
"See, truly spoken." The male spoke and gave the cold, a glance of his own out of the corner of his good eye before it slipped to Mya and her 'polight' asking to cease the apparent 'pissing contest'-Though Blitz was only defending himself.
"Again, please do." Blitz gave the higher officer a nod, and challengingly look as a grin slipped across his lips-only to let out laughter as the others all shifted to show attention to her rank, and black dragon. Such respect shown, yet-they all had to jump on man. "apparently they can't handle it." He cruelly spoke slipping his gaze to look to the woman and then to the man that incited it all.
Gritting his teeth, he shoulder check the other male back and turned his head spitefully to the male as he walked off. Only to be hit again, by the other, his step stumbled.
"Tch." Masters spat his breath in their direction. "Classy, gentlemen." The male's words seethed with a calm sarcasm. Taking in a slow breath his lean chest rose, as he straightened, slipping a hand though his ebony hair. Slowly his teal gaze looked to the others, as he slipped a hand to his pocket. A satisfied mischief filled grin slipped across his lips.

Kyrea Sakashi raised a hand to her brow in a sharp returned salute, with a dismissive nod of her head as the pair of men moved to leave the group. Her gaze, however, had leveled on the tall woman who appeared to be placing blame. The saluting hand was lowered and clasped behind her back with the other. She took one pivoting step back to allow the men by after they pushed past Blitz, though their roughness to him was given no heed. Nor did she seem bothered by Blitz's laughter.
"And women, with their emotions getting in the way." She returned a just-as-generalized stereotype as a reply. "I would expect more from a soldier of the Republic." Was noted, disapproving of the negative connotations being placed on fellow soldiers. It really didn't seem to matter to her what the argument was about. She took no sides except the Republic's. The smiled greeting that was given to her was returned with a nod, though that seemed to be the most greeting one got out of her regardless of situation.
Kai turned her unchanging serious expression to Mya, "You are all adults, you are all soldiers. You better have some sense of your own, or you won't last long." Although her tone was always harsh, the girl didn't seem directly involved so her words were more vocalized as a group reply than singling her out.
A pause followed as the announcement rang overhead. The shadowy mechanical beast behind her stood up a little straighter, slashing his blade-tipped tail from one side to the other. His eerie attention dropped to Sakashi as they seemed to exchange some sort of ....understanding. The general. It seemed they both needed to attend this meeting as well.
"Are you all entering the raffle?" As if the exchange of earlier had never happened, her inquiry seemed relatively genuine.
