How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I’ve become so numb Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home Wake me up Wake me up inside I can’t wake up Wake me up inside Save me Call my name and save me from the dark Wake me up Bid my blood to run I can’t wake up Before I come undone Save me Save me from the nothing I’ve become
~Raven~
Company: No one at the moment
Raven had never been one to stay inside for long periods of time. She had always loved the outdoors and loved to roam and explore. Even as a child so many eons ago, she had never liked to sit still. She had always ran on only a couple of hours sleep, and would be the last one down and the first one up. So it wasn't any surprise that before the sun had even began to peek over the horizon, Raven was up and about. She had left the castle while everyone else was asleep, or at least roaming in a different part of it, and all was quiet. And had went out for her dinner. Even though the castle had nearly every food imaginable, Raven had a very. . . 'special' diet, and would leave every day to go eat. She liked to leave when nobody else was around so that there were no questions. Although it wasn't like she would explain herself anyway. She had returned just as the sun was starting to make it's appearance and had roamed around outside for a bit, unsure of what to do. She had met several interesting people at the castle, including Vivian. However she had not seen Vivian for some time now, and she wasn't sure where he had gotten off to. Maybe he had left and not told her? It was possible, she supposed. Raven was disappointed if that was the case, but she wouldn't go looking for Vivian. She didn't want a pet that didn't want to be around her. She wanted one that could keep up with her, and would be interesting to spend time with, not one that ran away the first chance that they got.
Maybe there would be other interesting people here that she could meet. There always seemed to be new people coming and going. It was just that Raven had yet to meet anyone else interesting enough to hold her attention for more than a few moments. People tended to blend together to her, and it took someone special to really make her curious about them. Eventually, Raven had wandered around to the back of the castle, and found the path that led into the garden. Curious, Raven had decided to check it out and see if there was anything of interest. She found a large variety of different flowers and bushes lining the garden and would take a few moments to inspect each one until she could name each one she passed. That was a habit of hers. With so much spare time on her hands, and having been around for so long, Raven had a lot of random knowledge floating around in her head, and one of those things was the names of numerous plants, flowers and other nature related things.
After a couple of hours of exploring the garden, Raven eventually found a bench, shaded by some pretty trees and overlooking a variety of colorful flowers and decided to seat down for a bit. She wasn't tired, she hadn't even worked off nearly enough energy yet, but she had already explored most of the garden and wanted to decide where to go next. So far, she hadn't found anyone else roaming the garden, and was growing a bit bored despite the fact that she did truly love the garden. The truth of the matter was that Raven wanted company. And the company of someone that was interesting and unique. Despite what many people might think about her, she was actually a very sociable creature, despite the fact that she had mostly been a loner her entire life. The truth was that she hadn't been on her own by choice for the past several centuries, it was that she had yet to meet anyone that could keep up with her, or wasn't scared off by her once they learned the truth about her and what she was.
That had actually been the reason why she had accepted the invitation to come to Trinity Castle; she had been hoping to meet someone interesting. A pet that would travel with her and could keep her company. She thought she might have found that in Vivian, but that didn't seem to be the case. Well, it wasn't anything new, she silently reminded herself. Leaning back against the bench, Raven took in her surroundings as she tried to decide where to go next.
Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead All this time I can't believe I couldn't see Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems Got to open my eyes to everything Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul Don't let me die here There must be something more Bring me to life

Hazel noticed the male was glaring at her slightly and frowned, looking away. She didn't understand why he was staring at her like that, and it annoyed her. When he asked what had her so depressed, the elf girl frowned, eyes darkening slightly. What did he care? Balling her hands into fists in her lap, Hazel fought back the urge to punch him in the face for pretending to care about her feelings. She stood silently from her place in the grass, fuming. It wasn't like her to get this angry, but she didn't like being teased with fake intrigue. He obviously didn't care how she really felt.
"Nothing... Forget it." She said bitterly, obviously lying as tears were falling from her cheeks. Turning on her heel, she started to walk away from him; although deep down she didn't even want to. What she really wanted was to pour her emotions out and tell him her past... But why would he want to listen? Stopping for a moment, she turned her head to look at him where he was sitting and glared at him. "You shouldn't lead people on with false interest..." She growled, not understanding his concern was genuine. 'I've been betrayed too many times to fall for that..."
{{Yay for continuing! xD Hazel's in a bit of a mood, but she'll lighten up if he pursues her to calm her down and or talk to her. 3nodding
Or he could punish her. Up to you. Both would work. ^^}}

Hazel glared at Zephyr as he lectured her for making assumptions about people she just met, but her glare faded into a defeated frown when she realized he was right. He wasn't the man who killed her mother, nor the one who sold her into slavery... So why did she act like he was? However, when he stated he knew more about betrayal than a 'child' like herself, Hazel's eyes sparked with anger and sadness. "Fine, you wanted to know?! My father's a traitor, my mother's dead, my kingdom's fallen and it's all my fault it happened!" She exclaimed. "If I hadn't been so weak... If I wasn't so blind... Maybe she'd still be alive! But she was murdered in front of my eyes and I couldn't do anything to stop them!" She sobbed, getting hysterical. "I've lived a long life too, you know! Maybe.. Too long..." She added quietly, pulling a dagger from its sheath hidden in her clothing, and running past him with it in hand, leaving the scene with the intent of ending her life. Not that anyone in this world would miss her.. Once out of the garden, she climbed a tree and pulled the knife towards her neck. "I'll see you soon... Mother.."
{{Sorry about the 'emo-ish' post. Lemme know if I need to change anything. ^^;; }}

Zephyr watched the female closely, his eyes flashing with curiosity at the way her gaze suddenly filled with sadness and anger. Perhaps she knew more than he gave her credit for.... He felt a growl begin to build in within him as the girl continued to speak though. If there was one thing he hated, it was self-loathing. He'd gone through it, it was painfull and, above all, it was foolish. It accomplished nothing but regret and it had taken him many years to realize such a thing. Always thinking about possibilities. Always casting the blame on yourself. The past was set but the future was not. There was no telling whether her being 'stronger' or able to see whatever it was would result in everything being 'back to normal.' No point on dwelling on that which could not be changed and blaming yourself for it.
And now he was dealing with a hysterical girl. Great. His eyes narrowed as the woman's softer words reached his sensitive ears. What was sh- 'Ah, hell.' He caught the glint of metal as she darted away and, given the girl's unstable state, he wasn't going to take chances speculating on what rational things she might be doing with the blade. The dagger was ripped from her fingertips as he summoned the one element that would obey him, his hair and clothes whipping around his body. "Are you really so foolish?!" Oh, he was furious.
The male's as blazed brighter, the anger obvious in both his tone and his gaze. It took him seconds to reach her branch and he settled right in front of the female. "What purpose, exactly, would your death serve? How much of a coward are you?" He was goading her on purpose, he wanted her to get angry with him. He wanted her to attack. If she attacked, he could catch her so much easier. "Would your mother be proud of such a cowardly daughter?"
((O.nly O.n C.abaret: Haha, it's fine. Drama is fun. <3 Sorry for the delay. T^T))

Hazel squeaked in surprise as the dagger she had in her hand was suddenly summoned away from her and to the hand of the male, that currently, was infuriating her. She managed to ignore when he called her foolish, but when he called her a 'coward, she became enraged. She wasn't thinking rationally, so nothing she did at this point would make any sense. When he demanded what purpose her death would serve, she snapped. "There is no purpose in going on! The people I've loved are dead, no-one wants to be around me, and my death would do people a hell of a lot of good!" She shouted back. "You know nothing of my mother, so don't you dare act like you do!" she hissed. "Now leave me alone!" She knew he was egging her on, so she didn't attack him. Instead, she disappeared in a cloud of smoke to throw him off, but really just teleported below the tree and was covered by the shadows.
