Jaclyn shook her head. "Not really. As a witch from a long line I don't have much of a choice. Day in and out I'm expected to get good grades and honor my family. The woman sipped her tea. "All I've ever wanted was to one day be the mother of a family. I don't want anything else."

DZ sipped on his tea and sniffed the air. Well that sounds kind of boring, the food smells good you might want to check it. Oh and wanting a family is nice and all but you should want a little more the world has so much to offer.

Jaclyn smiled. "I've done my traveling and I've met rich and famous. Some people know what they want." She told him with a grin. She was happy that he thought about her, but there was no need to worry about her. "I'm ready for my choice in life."

DZ smiled drinking his tea, he listened to everything Jaclyn said ans sat on those words before he offered a reply. Well if your ready for your choice who is the lucky man to help you bear child? I would assume that if your ready to have kids that you have already have someone. DZ was curious to figure out if she had made it that far. if she had o man then she couldn't get what she wanted.

Jaclyn looked up at the man. Why would he think that? "I had someone." She answered in a voice that said she was discouraged. "There was this boy from my home town. Smart, good-looking, and from the most powerful wizard family. I was one of two girls picked to be his possible bride, but he liked the other girl more."

DZ's smile left his face as he focused on what Jaclyn said he felt sad and it could be seen on his face. Well I guess it's his loss. However what it sounds like is you were arranged to be married and I think it should be a mutual decision. If I were to say ask for your hand in marriage I would want you to truly love me before saying yes. DZ smiled and sipped on his tea.

"I wouldn't call it arranged. It was more like if we ended up together my parents would support me in my choice without me having to ask. If it was arranged then I would be married to him. His sister is really scary and would have forced us." She told him. She was lucky it wasn't an arranged marriage. Having Yvonne as a sister-in-law would not have been fun. "Now that I'm free from the possibility of marrying him I can marry who I want."
