or undead brain craving bastards!!"

Before the Apocalypse.*
"Before everything went to s**t and these disgusting bastards starting eating each other, life was ordinary, life was boring, life was good. You didn't have to go to sleep at night, with one eye open and your fist clenched around a weapon. You could walk to the grocery mart without worry that someone would jump you and bite your face off. I may not have had the best life, but I can tell you this.. before all this s**t went down, I was always safe. I never had to fear for my life."

The date is September 17th, 2016. An exact month before the CDC started the deadliest research known to man. A cool breeze flows through the trees at a small park in Atlanta, Georgia, the sound of children's laughter fills the air. Off in the distance a family of three lay sprawled out on a blanket, looking at the clouds, "That one looks like a doggy, Mommy!" The mother smiles and nods, placing her hand in her husband's. Things seem so peaceful, so quiet.. so.. perfect. Children run around the playground equipment, trying to catch one another in a game of tag. Elderly people sit on park benches, tossing bread crumbs and watch as the neighborhood pigeons peck at the ground. Things couldn't be any better..

From the personal Vlog of Dr. Richard Marks, October 17th, 2016, 10:00 pm:
"My name is Dr. Richard Marks, the CDC here in Atlanta has taken me on to be apart of their team to aid in the research for a cure. A cure for what you might ask? I am not able to discuss specific details of the findings, but I can tell you this, if something is not done, we are looking at a disease more deadly and more contagious than Ebola..
Our research team discovered what appeared to be a wild dog infected with rabies last night, however there is a huge difference. This dog... had no heartbeat and its body.. seemed to be decaying. I took samples of the brain matter and looking at it under a microscope, it looks as though the virus is a cross between Rabies and the Flu..
More research is needed..
End Transmission"

From the personal Vlog of Dr. Richard Marks, October 18th, 2016, 6:00 am:
"Dr. Richard Marks here again. The date is October 18th, 2016. 6:00 am. I have not been to sleep since my discovery, the other scientists say if I keep this up, I will lose my mind, I don't care, the world needs to find a cure. I think I may have stumbled across some very helpful information, however, more research is still needed, some test subjects (lab mice) haven't ... umm.. reacted well to the tests.. We still don't know if humans are able to contract the disease from animals, so the only way to find that out is ... well.. by getting a human test subject.
End transmission.."
