The Machine [Open/Accepting]

Damien facepalmed. "Oh, I do, do I? When did I say that?" he asked.

"Somewhere between, 'Hey Jian, I have good news and pizza' and 'why that scheming little...' yeah." she giggled, as if saying she heard everything.

"Ah, I see" Damien said, scratching the bridge of his nose. "Well, if that's how you want to interpret it, go ahead."

"Huh... I never knew you were the bashful type." Shadow replied bluntly, partly hoping he would get mad so she could play like he was flustered.

Damien figured Shadow was getting back at him for making her blush and flustered before. "So what do you plan on doing with what you heard?" he asked.

"Hmm... That's a good question." She smirked. "At present I shall use it to bother you. After that, I make no promises. What are you going to do about it?" She asked.

"Well I guess I can't do anything now, can I? Oh well. Poor me" Damien said to Shadow in a teasing tone.

"Are... are you mocking me?" She asked, raising a brow as she tilted her head towards the phone quizzically.

"You're a smart girl. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out if I am or not" Damien chuckled.

"Oh, Damien. I will go back there personally if you're mocking me." She retorted in a joking threat.

"Well, I'm here in my office if you decide to" Damien replied with a smirk, even though he knew Shadow couldn't see it.

"Alright. Fine. Well you just might get another visit from me." Shadow retorted with a huff. "Ugg... I really don't want to walk all the way back up."

"So what should I do with the transmitter then? Can I smash it?" Damien asked.  

[lil_lollypop1]

"I don't really care. Those things are pricey, but whatever." Shadow shrugged. "Anyway, I'm going to go someplace and sleep. I pulled an all nighter getting you that info and the only reason I haven't crashed yet is cause I had like... five cups of coffee. The caffeine is starting to wear off, so, feel free to hit me up with your ambush of body guards or whatever." She yawned.

Damien laughed. "Oh, you really are a cheeky one, aren't you?" he said, "Well, goodbye for not then." After hanging up, Damien looked at the little transmitter in his hands. He then had a few thoughts running through his head.
