[!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!]

Speed was one of his strong suits, as well as hidden strength, as he sped along the pathways leading towards the battles, he would weave and shove people how of the way, but before he knew it, Sam was above him, extending a hand. Glaring for a moment, he would look back towards the explosions, he would grin, it was something he didn't expect but didn't need.

"Thanks, but i'd rather keep my feet on the ground, at least for running, and we will find out, your guess is as good as mine."

Kira was known as the azure wolf or wind, in most cases he would reflect the name in his speed, or his sense of freedom, but he would show his speed at this moment. Bending his knees he would glare towards his goal, the battle, as the winds picked up around his feet he would dash forwards, and jumped into the air, the winds encircling his body, he would run in the air, as if he was on the ground, of course his comment made no sense, but to Kira his wind was as good as the ground.

Few things bothered him, the guards never mentioned anything before the attack muchless, he couldn't smell any thing as they entered the city, could it be they attacked from the outside. or was the smell of blood or demons strong enough to hinder his nose, that would be something to witness, but in either case, he would speed off, almost at twice the speed he was running on the ground, wondering, just what in the world, is going on.

Aldrich squinted his eyes and observed how he was being surrounded. By then Exterminator rocketed forward to attack him head on but Aldrich wouldn't back down. Instead his body would start to blur for a moment before it let out a loud, reverberating hum. The high pulse energy cannons were partially being absorbed by Aldrich and resonating away from him. In short, his skin was vibrating with a high frequency. The explosive energy washed over him, dwindling as each wave shot at him.

So when Exterminator tried to pierce into Aldrich, the mechanical menace's blade would clash violently against Aldrich's cane. The high frequency allowed him to counter even Exterminator's blade and parry him away.
"Not bad. I would imagine any other foe would fall to you...however you were unfortunate to cross paths with me. Will you keep fighting? I'll give you one chance to surrender."

Arrogance dripped off of Aldrich's words but there was an unmistakably feral aura around him. If the Exterminator thought this man was human he would be sorely mistaken. A frighteningly powerful energy emanated from Aldrich as he rolled his shoulders.
"Don't let pride get the best of you, now."

XXXSabriel MegalithXXX

Sabriel looked down at Raven, her own sapphire blue eyes meeting the golden flecked green ones. In some ways they reminded her how some of the leaves on the trees back home in Rémsi Sí were starting to change color as they transitioned from summer to autumn.
As a result of great practice, she managed to school her face into a mask of comfort and reassurance despite the fight raging around them.

She was used to some strange things happening while she was healing people, like having patient's guardians coming to stand over them, she wasn't quite used to having other people's guardians standing over them.
Her eyes sliding briefly to the right they landed on the large white tiger making her swallow and bite her lip.
Why did she have the sudden feeling that if she screwed up she was screwed?
"Oh hi…"
This feeling was compounded as she felt Lucas' Second Skin rolled over them.
Useful as it was for her in this situation so she could tell when to throw up any defense she might need around her and Raven; she did not consider it helpful in any way to her patient who already seemed like she was struggling to deal with her situation.

Dragging her attention back to Raven she looked down at her again, absently brushing a strand of loose hair hair away from the Neohuman's face.
"Shhhhh shhhhh… I can heal you without touching that's okay."
Her voice came out in a whisper as she moved her hands away from the other woman's temples and cast a small levitation spell to lift her body out of her lap and off of the stony ground.
Admittedly, Sabriel didn't really like healing without touching her patients because it meant that she lost her best way of being able to tell if her work was completely done, but at the same time she could respect her patient's wishes.
"Trying to talk means you're using energy your body needs to heal, so just try to relax okay?"
Glancing at the Daemon again, she bit the inside of her lip and rearranged herself so that she was kneeling instead of sitting cross-legged.
"And you sir. I don't know who you belong to, or how you both know this one, but just know, she's blessed strong this one is so the stars will not claim her yet."

Rubbing her hands together she winced as she brushed against the cut on her hand.
That could still wait for later. She still had other people to heal before she looked at patching herself up.
Placing her hands on either side of Raven's head - but not touching - she started the healing process again.
The woman's Neohuman trait of rapid healing was a blessing because it was making the process so much faster.

Lucas' Second Skin made her look up to where the battle was raging between him and Aaron.
Her face paled at smoke cleared on Aaron to reveal that he had taken little damage. The magic transferring between herself to Raven faltered as Aaron clicked his fingers making the small sun form above them.
"DTiarnaí agus na mBan thuas. Ní féidir liom muinín Uidor agus ba mhaith liom a fheiceáil Plains na Bláthanna am amháin níos mó roimh pas a fháil mé go dtí an spéir. Ní le do thoil glaoch orm a bheith páirteach tú, agus Nana Ithiel ach go fóill."
Shaking her head to clear it, her eyebrows knitted together and she looked back down at Raven. Raven was her current priority not the giant ball of fire in the air or sending prayers to long dead fairies.

Takehitsu looked at Inferno as he described chaos energy. Sadly it did not appear that he was going to be able to do anything at this time. To help with the chaos energy anyway. "I don't know how much you remember of the metallic substance that I wear all the time or that all my weapons and everything are made from. This entire facility is made of Ghantak, however Ghantak is a metal that does not carry energy aside from a dew selective energy currents that are not measurable from anywhere I have been so far with the exception of my home dimension. I may be able to find something but that will take a lot of experimentation." Takehitsu watched him walk into the chamber and the door slide close. The chamber filled with a deep red liquid that would remind him of his own blood but it was different. For some reason it had no temperature to it. After several minutes Inferno's wounds would be healed and he would feel as though nothing was wrong fully rested etc.

A large blob of glowing energy sank into the chamber and slowly sank into Inferno's body. It would feel like Inferno's energy. An older energy that hasn't entirely changed with him. For a little while it would feel odd but it would add to his power and mold itself back to it's owner. Takehitsu in the meantime had walked into a cylinder of his own however he was out shortly after as his wounds were not bad. On top of that he was not getting lost power restored which was a more delicate process. When it was over the lid would slide down and the liquid would drain but even without the lid the liquid didn't splash out.

The ℜ 𝖊 𝖛 𝖊 𝖓 𝖆 𝖓 𝖙 Guardian
"And as the Ascended One danced into Heaven, the Revenant Guardian returned..."
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

An involuntary shiver gripped Raven, from head to toe and back again. She could feel the magic encroaching upon her, swathed along her flesh; a strange, soothing sensation she found she did not mind at all. Pain was something that Raven was used to. There was a cruel time in her life when she required pain to ensure she had not lost her mind and detached from her sanity. The depth of her identity crises, she was forced to question if she was even real, the fractured mindsets the target of OXY's attempt to rehabilitate her back into the KANZAKI Project after seizing her from the Guild. They had wanted to unleash her upon her friends there to ensure she was completely within their control once more. The too fresh memory of Desmond's innocent kiss may have been her only saving grace then.

Seraph was restless, the white Siberian Tiger inching close to her. Contrary to the immense size, Raven found the most comfort in her Gatekeeper's Daemon. His namesake was the only reason the Daemon could exist in this realm without Corvinus with him. Corvinus had demonstrated a fierce, unyielding love so strong that when he could not reach Raven, Seraph could on his behalf. She briefly glanced at the Daemon, the image murky and blurry to her, blood still tainting the lids, caked along the lashes as she rapidly blinked. Perspiration a bloody sheen against her cheeks and forehead as her body continued to reel and recuperate from the intense damage wasted on her. Intense, blue eyes stared back at her, seeming to reflect the worry masked as anger she knew Corvinus himself would feel if he had been there. There was no place he could not reach her, no thing he wouldn't do for her. This anchored her further to the reality around them. It was the purpose of all Gatekeepers.

How had it come to this? Raven was so often scolded when she walked. She did not carry the airs of a Princess, head held high, nose upturned with shoulders square. Her gaze was often intense, bordering on angry-looking. Shoulders hunched, pace hastened with such long, strong strides one had to wonder if she was off to murder someone. So often--too often--she was unconscious during these walks. She never stopped to think where point A was, and how she got to point Z. Her life had somehow come to reflect this. Her pupils narrowed to slits when the sun-like sphere of flames illuminated the cave around them. Searing heat and a blast of hot air had her coughing, seized with involuntary fear--not for herself, but for Sabriel, Wyndom, Lucas, the General and his acquaintance--there were too many lives at stake. How had it gotten this terrible and out of hand?

Poly peptides gave life to protein cells, muscles and ligaments knitting together, lipids coalescing, tissue spreading thinly in layers. Pressure along her skull was slowly decreasing as the swelling of her brain decreased. The circulatory system was rapidly recovering, the hemorrhaging slowing as the internal damage was slowly on the mend.

The fractures of consciousness were beginning to piece together for a more coherent scene that Raven could decipher. A very old and ancient language seemed to bubble up like a stray thought within her mind. Raven knew this was a residual side effect of Sabriel's touching her. Nous and Noesis could not be stopped, and the shivering of her body calmed. Raven had become so still as she stared up at Sabriel, who did her best to soothe and make this painful healing process more bearable. It was perhaps unnerving, the way she stared at the petite Fairy. OXY had once deemed Raven too strong, an elaborate set up in place. Raven grasped that memory strongly, firmly, recalling it intensely. Roan's hoarse voice from centuries of bound silence. She remembered Alan speaking to her about it.

There are some things in this world that cannot be stopped. How long he went, bound to silence. How long you went, bound from Sight. They robbed you of your strongest weapon: those eyes of yours. You have knowing eyes. You have eyes that see deeper than OXY wanted you to see.

The long, jagged scar that refused to heal properly. Being drenched in oil and set on fire. The unbearable, inconceivable pain. How that mountain's cruel rocky terrain tore into her when she fell. The darkness that came when the blunt trauma blinded her. Still she went on with that iron-clad will of hers. Somehow she managed to continue living, even when she was blind.

Steadier, Raven was returning, recovering, remembering. Her mind was so chaotic and nebulous. She felt more solid beneath the celestial sheath of Lucas' Second Skin. The petite Fairy was accelerating her already accelerated rate of recovery, and she knew she had to be patient. Her spirit was ready to jump out of her skin, yet her soul and body needed to regain its strength and solidarity first. With each passing moment with Sabriel, Raven was beginning to piece more and more of the picture together, makig better sense of it all the time. The pain was dulling, her body creating more scars for her to admire when it would all be over. These people had brought her here. And with them, here and now, she wanted to stand with them an fight. Staring up at Sabriel, she felt that bubble growing, full, until it was ready to burst in her thoughts. The long fan of lashes descended, the quiet, resonating voice echoed in Sabriel's thoughts like a small ripple fanning out along the fairy's consciousness.

< "Ní bheidh mé in iúl dó ... tá grá i dom. Beidh aon duine a éileamh dom arís. Tá mé mo chuid féin. Caithfidh mé beo a chosaint. Caithfidh mé beo a ghrá ..." >

"Struggling is futile!!"

Wyndom had surrounded the ball of fire with a powerful vortex of wind that would seem to steal away the flames and heat. As the fire dropped, the flames got smaller and smaller. A mighty gust of warm air would sweep away from the group but something would feel wrong. A small, flickering pillar of fire would remain, despite Wyndom's efforts in smothering the attack.

"When will any of you learn? I'll char this lesson into you..."
The small pillar of fire would suddenly grow again, despite the lack of fuel. A powerful aura would suddenly be felt at the core of the flame as it began to morph and twist into shape. Aaron's flames had divine properties and could be sustained with spiritual energy. Beneath the Capital Cathedral, spiritual energy was abundant, nearly infinite! Aaron's mastery over fire would be displayed as he used the flames as a catalyst for his next tactic. A fiery silhouette would take form, wings of ember spreading and igniting with a magnificent blaze. The fire would take the shape of a winged Celestial and hover inches over the ground.

Aaron's Celestial Calling brought forth a mindless entity of Divine Fire. Twisting itself to face Sabriel and Raven, the angel of fire would let out a sharp cry before racing towards the two. Its body would start to glow with an ethereal golden aura as it attempted to crash into both women. If it wasn't stopped it would wrap itself around the two and explode as a small eruption of fire. Everyone would have to be careful when dealing with this creature.

"I've got this."
Leaping towards Sabriel and Raven, Grants' body would blur as he rocketed himself towards the Fire Sprite. With a well timed slash of his blade, the General would lop off the head of Aaron's summon.

"You two oka-"
FWWWOOOOOOOOOOSSSHHHH

Without warning, the fire would engulf Grants, wrapping themselves around him until he stumbled away. He'd roll on the ground, crying out in agony until he expended a burst of spiritual energy around his body. The flames would dissipate and leave Grants with scorch marks all over his clothes and body. Although he was just burned he would stand up quickly and widen his gaze.
"...What? Lucas I can't...I can't feel the connection to my powers anymore."

Grants would try summoning his other blades but to no avail. He would kneel down, shocked from the intense burning pain that washed over his body along with the helplessness of not being able to manifest his power. "I think that fire sealed my abilities somehow..."

--

Aaron would slowly but steadily approach Heaven's party. He'd snap his fingers again and summon another Celestial Fire Spirit. Just as before, the fiery entity would race towards Sabriel and Raven. The same orange glow would surround it as it flew towards the two women.
"Yes, I can seal one ability of yours with my flames. Even if you beg I won't relent! I'll be looking forward to turning you all to ash."

Inferno stepped out of the cylinder capsule which was used to completely rejuvenate his power. Inferno lifted his arm up to examine his hand which had completely healed. He knew it was only temporary due to the fact using chaos energy from his own flesh would tear his hands apart again. The cloak around him felt off of his energy, pulling strains together from the very energy that surrounded Inferno. To Takehitsu, this ability was new. Inferno's cloak pulled together quickly to cover all of Inferno's body to contain the heat of the demon.

Inferno raised his hand up even further as he summoned his infamous mask, the one he was known for wearing in tournament arenas as the Prize fighter. An indestructible mask, layered in the most durable of metals and materials and lined with deadly spikes. The only openings to the mask was the eye lids. Inferno knew he had to help Takehitsu before he could return to Lucas because that was the only way he was going to find away to truly heal his hands from his own power. He looked over at Takehitsu and nodded. "Lead the way my friend..."

As Kira and David walked out of the tavern after hearing two explosions, Negi would walk out as well. He did not know what was going on, but why would there be explosions at a time like this. Sure, they were in Hell but that did not mean there could not be order in such a place. Oni saw to it that even the condemned and the wicked would know order, and peace. As he walked out of the door he would cup his hands and would swing both arms simultaneously forward and back, one foot forward and six inches back. When his arms would move forward a small gust of wind would begin to push at him. He would head in the direction of the first blast, not just because it was the closest of the two but because if the cause of these blasts were of the same source then a plan to put it down would be easier. He would be in a full sprint and the wind pushing him even faster. It would be a short amount of time till he would be upon the explosion, but yet he still felt uneasy about approaching the blast site because it still shocked him on who would do something here of all places knowing that Hell possesses some of the most interesting warriors the realms have to offer. Negi would shout ahead of him to Kira, "Be careful we do not know if what happened, or what to prepare for!"

Takehitsu readied himself for what was to come and smiled to see his friend taking a somewhat similar appearance to what he first saw him so long ago. Although he was definitely using different abilities and his overall appearance was definitely different. This merely reassured Takehitsu that his friend had grown and learned in these times. Takehitsu turned to a panel behind him and put his hand into it. What specifically happened was more elsewhere, Takehitsu was checking the available vehicles.

Takehitsu then nodded at Inferno again and lead him down a few hallways to what appeared to be a hangar bay of sorts. It had various vehicles that would all look more alien than human and very oddly shaped, with tentacle like appendages and or being perfect spheres. Takehitsu would lead them toward one that looked something like three ovals stuck to each other the middle one being the largest almost disk-like where the two smaller ones on the Side as larger rounded parts with tentacles sticking out making a disk like a planetary ring around the ship. Takehitsu walked up to the vehicle and turned around. "You get in on the other side and we'll take this to where we are going."

XXXSabriel MegalithXXX

Registering from Raven's body that her magic was no longer required to aid the healing process, Sabriel slowly pulled it away making sure to let it longer in case there was anything missed.
Dropping her hands from the side of the other woman's head, she smiled as her words resonated through her.
Mar sin ardú anois Bhean Leis Na Súile de Samhraidh Deireadh. Ardú agus a chomhrac."

Her attention was pulled away suddenly though as she let out a scream seeing Grants become engulfed in the flames that he'd been trying to protect them from.
Forming a fist with one hand she put it to her mouth and bit down on it.
With wide eyes she quickly realized that Aaron was creating casualties faster than she could heal them.
The apparition of a second FIre Sprite was enough to make the fairy scramble to her feet, her mind racing through the items she had on her and the magic she knew in a bid to stop it's advance on her and Raven.
Aaron had the potential to seal off any ability she used and not let her use it again.
This meant that even her healing was at risk!

Quick as a lightbulb turning on an idea hit her.
Moving a little way away from Raven in a bid to draw the fire sprite away from her, Sabriel stood in a clear spot between her and Wyndom
After what he'd done with the ball of fire, she could tell that despite his inability to see, he could still fight, meanwhile Raven was sure to get up soon so her plan had some chance to work.
AARON!! I know what you're thinking. Take out the healer and they're in trouble. So if you want me, COME AND GET ME!"
Placing her feet at an equal distance apart, her held her arms out with her hands outstretched making her tiny body as big a target as she could manage.

She could hear a clamor of voices in her head telling her that she was being an idiot.
The two loudest was her brother Omegana's and her ex-flame Drake's.
Shoving them all aside she waited for the insane celestial to turn on her.
Of course if her plan didn't totally work out she did have a back up.
It meant sacrificing an ability she'd learned from Drake, but the other alternative was risking her wings and she didn't like the idea of that.

His blood was bitter. Metallic. Wyndom spat on the ground, trying to rid his tongue of the sensation. He knew the bleeding needed to be stopped, but he knew that whatever entity had entered onto his electrical treadmill needed to be stopped even more. That and either Raven or the potion-tosser had now moved away to engage the entity!

Grants alerted them all of the danger of the fire sprite before Sabriel rushed out, but it still left many options unconfirmed. Wyndom knew the fire was fueled by unnatural means, and that it could be killed somehow, but that touching it would seal your abilities. Did Grants kill it due to an attack, or was it because he touched that the fire latched onto him and sealed him away at the cost of its own life? Could it seal away your abilities in other fashions as well, or merely by touch? That would be the deciding factor in this battle. Wyndom's lack of eye-sight was starting to get to him...it was possible to fight, but impossibly harder to do so. He had trained with his electrical treadmill for years, but that acted more as a peripheral, and so now that he was left with it, he realized just how much of the details he filled in with his eyes alone.

The potion-tosser called out to Aaron, almost as if confirming Wyndom's current fears. He wanted her to heal his eye, and if she was dead that wouldn't happen. He was shocked at his selfishness in this moment, was this truly what was going through his mind during this terrible battle? Why couldn't he focus on the right things? Frustrated with himself, Wyndom drove his emotions to enhance his focus, his mental drive, his fuel.

An air blade manifested in front of Wyndom and launched out at the Sprite with pinpoint accuracy. Wyndom knew exactly where it was on his treadmill, and so it soared towards its neck, aiming to sever its head and hopefully extinguish its life. Wyndom couldn't fight by himself though, he needed friends.

Raven...water...

The brief message to her would not be missed.

Wyndom was in sync with Raven's own idea and even in the midst of the terrible situation she was grinning stupidly as she slowly sat upright, pleased they were still fighting as a unit. She was still functioning at 65%, and her body was refusing to move just yet but she was coherent enough to wield her abilities without trouble. As if to further prove this, the lake exploded in a spectacular display, giving birth to a large, funnel that warped and stretched horizontally, racing along the ground and effectively creating a wall that intercepted the fiery Sprite, a loud hiss filling the air as fire and water met, plumes of steam wafting through the cavern.

Priorities rearranged now, she had to defend Sabriel, get her to Wyndom and back up Lucas against Aaron. Had Wyndom not shifted to decapitate the fiery entity Aaron unleashed on them, Raven had been prepared to take it on, believing the Second Skin would shield her. Yet Grants had proven even that did not stop Aaron, and for this Raven was grateful to Wyndom for buying even a few seconds of time for the two women.

Gazing up, Raven felt a violent surge of anger towards Aaron. One end of the wall, furthest to her left spiked up, the atoms rearranged so swiftly, it was like a violent explosion of ice peaks lurching up into the air at the Seraph, clawing into the air, building upon themselves at rapid speed with the desire to entrap him from below. Whatever would buy them time, it would also allow her to see just how well this man's defense was. His attacks had been primarily similar to Lucas' on one end of the light-wielder's spectrum. A plan was quickly formulating through the remaining haze of her mind. She would honor Sabriel's words and fight.

Roy ran up to Negi "Don't worry I will have their backs.", with that said Roy jump up while creating some sort of flame like surfboard. "You are welcome to join if you can take the heat.". Regardless if Negi joined him, he would storm off while trying to stay above the crowd. Roy manage to catch up to the angel and Kira. "Kira! Sam!" he called out to them. Roy was now neck and neck with the two of them. It would appear that Roy has made some sort of flame surf board, leaving behind him an arch trail of embers and flames from him dodging citizens and everything else in his way. "Two Explosions, Sam can you pick up any signature energies? Kira, what does your nose say?" Roy was unaware that the two of them had already tired to figure out what was going on but at the current moment it would seem that no one had answers.

Roy whipped back one of his arms to throw back his cloak to reveal his gauntlet. Kira had already seen it and may have had an idea of what it was capable. Roy quickly took hold of his forearm with his other hand, this forearm was the gauntlet. The same arm in which the gauntlet was on, extended outward with Roy's pointing a single finger. His finger would rotate in a circular motion while he said to himself "Show me once more....". Roy was using the same ability in which he used to find Oni and Kira after returning to this plane. With that said, the gauntlet flashes alive, with green energy pulsing from it like mini shockwaves. A blue energy like trail would be sent out towards one of the explosions IF there was any creature/person behind the act. It would also take them to find clues. While Roy was paying attention to see rather or not the gauntlet would lead him to whoever or whatever was behind this, he slowly fell behind Kira and Sam.

((Was rushed, so I didn't get to go through the post and fix spelling errors and whatnot. Also please note that the blue energy trail will only appear if Devil Steel allows it and reveals who or what is behind the two explosions.))

Lucas was grateful for how well his comrades could work together. They were pushing through the peril and fought against the pain. Truly, their will was magnificent and Lucas knew that they were all able to overcome this situation. Even though the odds were against them everyone would stand together and fight on.

Lucas was definitely concerned that Grants' powers had been sealed and his worries overlapped with Sabriel's. There were a lot of unknown factors about Aaron's ability but it was clear that they all had to be careful. Either way it wouldn't be the first time Lucas had to fight against an incredibly powerful entity while his abilities were limited. So when Raven washed the Fire Spirit away, Lucas would make sure to be ready for her follow up.

Ice would manifest and grow upwards to trap Aaron from below and it was then that Lucas would make his next move. Although his previous light based attacked didn't seem to deal full damage it proved that it could at least do something.
"Okay...."
Lucas would focus and wave his left hand towards the rapidly growing pikes. A wave of light would shoot off and reflect within shifting waters, illuminating the ice as well as the cavern in an ethereal blue gloss. The light was soothing but it would be harnessed for a much more dangerous intent.

"Feather Storm Inversion."
Lucas would call out his name, bringing more focus to the manifestation of his element. He'd display dominance over the light and craft the abundance of energy into countless jet black plumes. As the ice rose up the feathers would form above and fall down. However Lucas' focus would allow him to craft each feather with heat absorbing properties. Instead of a flurry of explosive energy, Lucas would instead focus on drawing the heat away from Aaron. Fighting fire with fire against a Seraph was probably not wise. So Lucas would have to be more tactical and assist his Vanguards while taking the offensive.

Now Aaron would be attacked from below as well as above. If he wasn't impaled by the ice he would be threatened by having his precious heat absorbed from around him and in danger of flash freezing.
