Marucs had only just come back to sit down, hear the speech, and come to collect thoughts, when it seemed like s**t was already going down. Marcus kept close to Alexis and Keeli, trying to ignore the comments about some fight that had gone on earlier. Apparently some Xammar pack members were talking, then in jumped the lion shifter. They were stirring the pot, and none too quietly. It seemed that they had attracted Kiah’s attention. He came and sat down on the free cushion of the couch. It wasn’t like Marcus was holding Alexis or anything, but he had sat next to her. Probably because he’d just stood next to her. No reason he couldn’t sit by her right? He wasn’t making a move just by having close proximity. If anyone wanted to question a motive, he could simply say that he was hanging around, trying to make their room situation more comfortable. Kiah’s comments in retort were rather surprising. So there had been a fight earlier? And he’d missed it. s**t. Well, better that he was second in command now. He could be there next s**t got rowdy. And he’d whop some a**. That’s what seconds did. They covered the a** of their pack leader, but that didn’t mean he had to let it come down to Kiah starting in the fight. Marcus could always do that for the wolf. It was, after all, his job now, was it not?

Alexis had left shortly before then whole ordeal had gone down. She had taken Keeli with her. Probably to put the little blonde in a bed. It was better that way. Now the adults could chat unoccupied with the care of little children. After all, even if all the packs went to fighting, surely the children would be spared? Who in their right mind could kill a child? Marcus didn’t like them, but even he couldn’t kill a kid. When Alexis returned, Keeli was nowhere in sight, pretty much as he’d figured. She’d put the little girl to sleep. Better that way. However, Alexis had missed the conversation. She asked about it. Marcus hadn’t been paying all that much attention. He just spoke quietly, not wanting to escalate things again, even though some members had already left. ”I guess Kiah and some Xammar pack idiot got into a fight before he came back and told us to pack up. The Xammar kid was running his mouth. Telling some lies. Kiah came in and stopped it. That’s about all I gathered. So, you see our room?” He wondered, given how the lodgings were divided, if there would be one bed or two. Surely, they didn’t expect people to share beds right? That would just make the situation far more uncomfortable. ”One bed or two? If there’s one, you can have it. Just give me a blanket and a pillow or something. I’ll make do on the floor.” It was true. Marcus didn’t care much one way or another. He wanted Alexis to be comfortable. He was Second in command. That meant he couldn’t be as much of a d**k anymore right? Well, not that he would instantly have a complete personality transformation or anything. He’d just make the best of the situation.

Despite people leaving the room, I wasn’t as if the house had gotten any quieter. There was still tension in the air, most likely a mix form all the packs sharing one roof, and the knowledge that there were missing members. The door opened and it sounded as though people were walking in. Alexis had tensed on the couch next to him. He looked to her with concern. He didn’t know why she had suddenly gone all tense, but shook his head, trying to think less of it. She wasn’t in any eminent danger right? Nothing had been said to her. He’d been paying attention. Kiah, Cali had left after a brunette approached with a little kid. Must have been the Xammar pack kid. Marcus made note to avoid this kid too. Exactly how many of them would be staying in the house? He shook his head. The little couch group dispersed, he looked to Alexis. ”I’m gonna go move my things into the room. I’ll be back, ok? You need anything?” After waiting for the answer, Marcus took his leave.

Heading for the hall, he simply wanted to grab his s**t and get moving. There seemed to be a group moving inside. Blaine was there, as well as Ollie, and some girl he’d never seen. Blaine seemed as if he were trying to console the girl. Marcus was concerned only as long as he had to pick up his things, Once they were in his hand, he was out. He moved towards the bedroom. Obviously people were trickling back into the living room, so he’d most definitely need to head back in there once he was done. Setting his crap down, he did see that it was indeed one bed. He shook his head, picking a nice place on the floor in the room. Setting his stuff around it, he decided he’d just make that his bed. It was the best spot. All he needed was a blanket and a pillow. It’d be a hell of a lot more comfortable if they hadn’t barred shifting. He’d manage though. He’d have to.

xxx Lately, I've been wishing
I had one desire

xxxxxxxxxxxxxSomething that would make me never want another
xxxxxSomething that would make it so that
NOTHING MATTERED

xxxxxAll would be clear then

Alexis raised blue eyes towards Marcus as he started telling her about what happened in the room. That hadn't been what she had meant. She had been meaning to ask what happened with him and Kiah, but she supposed he took it the wrong way or was just avoiding the subject. She didn't care for fights. Her eyes drifted to the people he was talking about. She didn't clear up her original statement, but instead politely listened as he described what happened in the room. Her eyes flickered to Kiah as he walked out of the room. She always had respected him greatly, he took care of the pack and made sure they were well cared for. She couldn't believe that someone would be telling lies on him. Well, she was very naive to how some other people acted. She herself could never do that to someone.

Marcus ended his story with bringing up their bedroom situation, and her gaze went back to him and a blush formed on her face, remembering the bed. Oh, she didn't want to put him on the floor, but she could honestly say she had never been so close to another male. Marcus was attractive, which probably made the whole ordeal more of a big deal in her mind. Her mind went to Keagan. Surely, he would feel weird about her sleeping in the same bed with another guy. Well, she would have been offended if it didn't bother him! "Yeah, I saw it," she said, not offering anything else, because she wasn't yet sure what to think about it yet. Of course, he added on and the soft pink blush returned to her cheeks and she looked away momentarily. "One bed, but" she said, turning to look at him, "I'm sure we can figure something out, I wouldn't want to put you on the floor!" she told him, thinking the idea was just plain mean.

She nodded her head when he announced he was going to the bed room. This left her on the couch with Kaysie. Kiah and some of the others had left the room and there were just a few people left in the room. It seemed some guy was hitting on Kaysie. A small smile fell on her lips. Oh, he probably wouldn't be doing that if he knew that she was with Kiah. Was she with Kiah? Their whole relationship was weird. They seemed to be acting more like a couple, but she hadn't heard anything official. Oh well, she was normally out of the loop on that sort of things. Alexis looked around the room casually, her eyes finally landing on Keagan. It was bothering her to not be able to talk to him, when he was so dang close! "Your bedroom?" she mouthed to him, when she was sure no one was paying attention to her. It was really the only place that she could think of there not being any people around. It would be bad if they got caught, though. They would just have to be sneaky about it. No easy task with all these people around.

Samael knew that Koreena wouldn't be entirely thrilled about hearing all of the packs were together in the Grieco house, as he wasn't even thrilled about the idea in the first place. Hell, he still wasn't thrilled about it. But if this was the only way for him to get his pack back together, then so be it. Samael was willing to risk his sanity and all that. Koreena and Alliyah were important to him. Sure, he didn't like them sometimes, and even wanted to punch their faces every now and then. But with them being his pack, they were family. And grouping all three packs together was the only thing he knew to do when it came to freeing the others. So, regardless of whether Koreena liked it or not, it was already happening and would stay that way until everyone was home safe and sound. Then the two other packs could get the ******** out of his house.

"She's fine. She sitting next to me,"

"Okay, good," he replied; nodding his head as well though she couldn't see it.

"There is us, a woman, and two dogs...well, one is a wolf,"

"I'm assuming one of them is from Xammar? Considering Calista said she was missing someone from her pack, one of the others has to be from Xammar." Really, by now, he was more so just speaking to himself. A way to calm down, perhaps. Or maybe just because he was reassuring himself that nobody had died. And, as much as Samael enjoyed the death of beings sometimes.. this was not one of those times.

"Alliyah said that one of them is a police officer and his name is Chandler,"

"A cop? Well, that just makes it all worse. If there's a cop, that means they have access to any sort of records on file." Sighing heavily, Samael allowed a low growl to come out before he rubbed at his eye. God, this was getting worse and worse by the minute. But before he could really reply anymore, the sound of the phone shuffling was heard, and Koreena's voice was gone. At first, Samael thought they had been caught by the people holding them captive. His heart raced more, and his face went entirely straight. But the minute she told him to listen close and started giving directions, he instantly relaxed. Oh, good. It wasn't the hunters. Anyway.

"Samael, right? Listen close because I know exactly where we are and I'm not repeating myself. Well. I might. Still. . Once you get into town - on the far side, there's a run-down old building. It's a jail used way back went the town was older. It looks abandoned like it hasn't been touched for ages. We pass it a thousand times when we're coming into town all the time, it's very distinctive in it's looks - you really can't miss it. There are four of them - like whatsherface said, all heavily loaded and not afraid to kill if that's what it comes down to. If for any reason you can't find the place, have one of the dogs sniff for skunk. They used it to hide their scent back near the Joslyn house but if I know the smell correctly, it follows you wherever you go and hangs in the air for a while. Be prepared if you come. Because they are."

The words... well, they shocked him. Having a decent memory, Samael would be able to remember most of what she said. Besides, the fact of smelling skunk and having canines sniff it down, that would be much easier now that he knew about it. So if he did happen to forget the way, he could always send a canine to sniff it out. Right? Right. However, he didn't reply, because the phone began to shuffle again and he figured it was being handed over to someone else. Though, to his relief, the sound of Koreena's voice came back on the line. He sighed again.

"The phone is about to go dead. I'm going to get rid of it, so don't call it back. See ya soon."

And with that, he heard the phone click. Closing his eyes, Samael clicked the end call button on his phone. His hand went to his eyes, rubbing at them momentarily before his gaze turned to his cousin, Spencer. "Gather Cali and Kiah in here." It was a direct order, and Samael expected it to get done immediately. There were no arguments to it.

She was gorgeous! Emilee had said so, and the woman hadn't lied to her yet, not give her any reason not to trust her, so it must have been true! Not did Snowie, a famous nickname for the young child, look pretty, but she felt it as well -for the first time in a lone time, she felt it. Soft storm grey eyes, a hint of baby blue to them, looked down as color flooded her cheeks in correspondence to the compliment Emilee had given her - Oh was she bashful at times! If Snowie could have purred, she would have, and did try as a soft sound left her body, and though it did appear like a cat's purr, it did not radiate through her body like one and so it felt wrong -alien. Just like her, a foreigner in an unknown, or rather, unfamiliar, world. However, the chaos that ensued around them to whatever degree it was held no effect or care with Mina right now - no, now the only thing that mattered was that she was safe and happy in Emilee's arms. It had been two years since she felt the warm embrace of another, two years since she felt so purely worry free and happy. Contentment boiled within Mina to no end, developing a deeper trusting connection with Emilee the longer they stayed held together. Emilee would be Mina's focus now, her 'world' if you would. After all, the child would be relying on her for almost everything now: food, clothing, support, companionship, news, education and even a parental/sibling figure role in her life -after all, she wasn't fending for herself in the wild anymore. Now it was pure readjustment to life.

But just as everything starts, all good must eventually come to an end, and with Emilee's first question, Mina pulled from their embrace and opened those crystal stormy silver grey eyes, the very ones with a baby blue ring which the light toyed and pulled on, and looked whole heartedly at Emilee. What did she want to do? In the midst of her thoughts, Snowie's stomach growled as a reminder to the fact she still hadn't eaten yet that day. Nodding her head when the woman asked if she wanted food, she was honestly starving and moved quickly to the window, looking outside for movement. It was a habit for her, to do so considering she had spent the last two years hunting as a means to survive, savaging at times when food was scarce. Soon enough, there was a soft buzz, a vibration and an alert that made Snowie duck and look about wildly, pushing her back against the wall until she could move no further back. In the process of locating the sound, Mina did calm some considering it had stopped, but the noise had startled her. Sure enough, it was something Mina had completely forgotten about - a cell phone. Emilee's cell phone to be exact. Relaxing, Snowie moved over, rather crawled over, to the woman and peered over top her hands to look at the buttons for a swift moment or two before drawing back and sitting down. Watching the female leopard as she responded, she had to admit, she had completely forgotten about technology for a good portion of time, considering it held only a small amount of space in her brain. She did remember her parents each having a cell phone, but more than that, she remembered reading with and along when they read either The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe or acted out scenes to Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. She enjoyed those days, missing them dearly and remembering them perfectly within her mind. She had preferred and still would to utilize her time reading and educating herself over using a computer. Her parents had tried to make her well-rounded, and though she had been very small at the time, they wanted her to be able to live happily both in the real and natural world - and they did a fairly good job. Mina was very bright, and when she applied herself to something, she excelled and did her best to overcome any obstacle.

When Emilee would leave, Minae would lay with her back to the woman's bed, curled up on her side until a soft lulling of music reached her ears. Knowing she shouldn't leave, the gentleness of the music told her otherwise and all too soon curiosity got the best of her. Timidly would the barefoot child get up and move towards the closed door, slowly would she turn the knob and inch by slow inch, open the door and peer out. Only when the hall was empty would she move. Little ringlets of hair swayed as she walked silently, following the gentle sound of the guitar playing to a half open door and looked inside. It was the man she had seen with Emilee earlier, the one who had smelt like a wolf. Both his music however, and the fact Emilee had seemed to have trusted him before, dissuaded her automatic labeling and thoughts into her believing he was bad.

And so, Mina stood there, looking into the room, listening to the music, unseen as Deke focused on his guitar.

Spencer watched Samael's face as he put his ear to the phone. It could only be a select few. The hunters or one of the girls. The moment Samael answered the phone, the relief and worry that came with it, signaled it was one of the girls. After a few moments of talking, it was cleared up that it was Koreena on the phone. Spencer moved closer to Samael, so that he could hear what was being said, the Samael kept pacing around, making it impossible. He could only really go by what Samael was saying. They were in a jail? That was something that seemed to puzzle both men. The jail in town was pretty small, compared to most jails. It was there for the occasional drunk driver or thief. Someone would have had to notice a bunch of people being brought in there.

The first instinct was to go to the local jail and see where they were, until it was mentioned that one of them was a cop. Well, that was just great. He had yet to learn that Cat was the one in charge of it all. She really had all the information on them. He had broke his arm when he was in the 4th grade. He had gone to the doctor before her for it, and he wondered if Cat had gotten those records passed down to her. All the check ups and then all the fights. His eyes flickered to the doorway into the living room where he could see a few people. Who knew what else she knew on everyone else. The newer ones would be the safest, but most people that lived in the Grieco house had lived there all their lives or had lived there for many many years.

The phone call seemed to end without a good bye and Spencer looked over to see his cousin rubbing at his eyes. Spencer pressed his lips together, but said nothing about it. The order was given and Spencer walked towards the living room, but stopped at the door way to turn and look at Samael. "People will do surprising things if there is a gun pointed at their head," he told, Samael, so he would be wary that this could be a set up. It all seemed too perfect to him. With that he entered the living room. Everyone seemed to be scattered through the house, because there wasn't many in the living room anymore. His eyes scanned the area, finding Kiah entering it. Before the wolf shifter could sit down with the blonde, Spencer spoke up. "Samael wants to talk in the kitchen," he told the man before moving on.

Going to the hall way, he saw Cali standing with a few people. One he didn't recognize, but then again, he didn't recognize a lot of people here, so the new girl didn't strike him as odd, besides the fact that she was bleeding. His attention was drawn to Cali, "Samael wants to talk to you and Kiah in the kitchen," he told her, his eyes flickering towards the dark haired girl who was bleeding. "I'll get you something," he said, looking her over for a moment. With that he headed down the hall way to the bathroom. When it was just the Grieco pack, bathrooms weren't something that needed to be shared. There weren't many conflicts with them, and they usually locked the door, anyways, when they used them. He didn't think about someone being in there, and Spencer swung the door open, getting hit in the face with smoke. Blinking, he looked at the man sitting on the toilet and the raven haired woman from earlier. Normally, he would have been all for smoking, but at the moment, he needed his mind clear. He didn't know if they were going out hunting tonight or whenever. He wanted to be prepared. The hell if he was going to be picked off first. Spencer perked a brow and smirked slightly. "Oh, I bet Cali loves this," he said, figuring she really didn't know or she would flip her s**t. Walking through their little smoke cloud to get the first aid kit out from under the sink, he straightened up. "I'll be back," he said, stepping out of the room.

Walking back to the little group, he handed the first aid kit to the first person he saw. Hunter. "Here ya go, buddy," he said, not sticking around to bandage this girl up. He found better stuff to do. Well, he wasn't so much interested in the weed at this moment as the girl smoking all the weed. He grabbed himself a cup of vodka and headed back into the bathroom. Shutting the door behind him, he locked it, and took a seat on the counter. "So, whats your names and whose is that?" he asked, nodding to the joint. Well, he needed to know who he needed to talk to at a later point.

Surprised to have seen a snow leopard in a tree, a cub at that, Deke stopped and settled naturally into the outer ring of people who had gathered there as everyone else seemed to as well. Coming to stand near Cali, dark eyes blinked slightly in confusion before the male figure moved aside to let Emilee through. As the woman surged forward, she coaxed the child down from the tree and earned a little more respect in Deke's book, even though she had some of the upmost respect aside from his fellow pack mates. And that was mainly because of his 'attachment' to her. He was curious to know why the Grieco cub had been left behind outside, after all, his first concern with the news of moving to this territory was Keeli, who Alexis[/n] had helped him with. Bless her soul for that. And here was a child, Grieco according to him as many other thought or had thought even if Mina really wasn't part of the pack yet, and dark eyes followed as the feline skirted into the house frightened. He didn't blame her though, for being scared, there were a lot of people there after all. Though, if Deke had to admit, it was odd that she hadn't shifted -perhaps she was embarrassed? Or maybe it was some other reason - well, whatever it was, at least she was safe. One way or another, Deke could not help but allow his dark eyes to follow Emilee's form, and then catch her own irises as she turned around and looked at him apologetically. He didn't blame her, for leaving however, she really needed to calm the cub down and so he decided he would let her go. As they left, Deke finally noticed that Blaine seemed to be consoling Ollie, which would have been his job normally, and it seemed that Blaine[/n] had gotten it all under control while he had been caught up in something else.

Tried feet brought him to trudge inside as he was intent on moving his things finally to a room. Claiming his duffel bag, guitar and book bag which he armed himself with, he moved sullenly up the steps to find a place to crash. He felt alone. For the first time in a long while, Deke felt alone which was accompanied by a familiar stinging sensation that had begun to overwhelm him. It was something he hadn’t felt since the death of his parents. Throwing his duffel bag and guitar over his shoulder, he carried his book bag from the mottle of personal items still yearning to be claimed by their owner. Moving up the steps, it didn't take long to find a room they could share, he and his roommate -and the best part? Two beds, it had apparently been a guest bedroom at one point. Or maybe still was. Setting everything down, Deke slid his duffel bag under the bed and hung the book bag on the post. Each bed had a spot near a window, Deke just so happened to grab the one with the wider view as he lay on the bed and stare at the ceiling for no apparent reason. Eventually, Deke decided to send Emilee a message, he couldn't get his mind off her and that little cub.

                                      To: Emilee
                                      From: Deke
Message: Sorry if I'm bothering you, is she okay? And if you need anything, anything at all, let me know. I'm only two rooms down.

Setting his phone down, Deke rifled through his bag to make sure he had everything he needed before picking up his guitar -essentially, it was one o the only things he knew. It was still odd to him, rubbing him the wrong way, due to the fact that all three packs were staying on one pack's land and would actually be living there.

Elegant fingers strummed and tuned, playing chords as needed before all seemed right. Settling into a gentle pattern, the first song that so happenedt o pop into Deke's head was Wonderful Tonight by Eric clapton, singing in perfect harmony with the song.

Tabitha had passed the joint back to Irial; exhaling slowly before closing her eyes and leaning back against the back of the toilet. It had been quite some time since she had last smoked, that she really couldn't even remember when the last time was. Reaching a hand up, Tabitha her fingers through her hair, trying to recall when she had last done it. Before the Xammar pack? Perhaps... maybe a few times while she was in it, but she certainly never did it very often or a whole lot. But, right now was one of those times that she just didn't give a damn. Sure, they had a huge possibility of being caught and getting in trouble, but it was all worth it. Getting into an argument -- or starting one, at least. Getting glared at and talked to, then having to be pulled away. She hadn't drank enough, so she wasn't drunk. So perhaps this was a better outcome, no?

Though, one thing Tabitha hadn't thought about was if they had to go out tonight. She didn't know that the phone call had been received, so she didn't know they had any leads at all. But smoking right now with the possibility of going out to search for the others later... well, that was not good. She would be useless, would she not? Falling out of the trees by either sliding off or missing the next branch. Oh, it would be a disaster. She even remembered getting drunk one day and shifting -- that was bad. She couldn't recall how many times she'd actually fallen off of a branch and onto the ground, only to get right back up, climb the tree again, and do the same thing over and over until she got all the way home. It had taken her a long a** time, too. Because each time she fell, that was another five minutes wasted to regain herself and start back up again.

With the sound of the door opening, Tabitha's gaze turned to the person who opened it. The smoke began to leave the bathroom, and one of the men from the living room who had instigated with her stood there. She smirked some, eyeing him momentarily before glancing over at Irial. That is... until he said that Calista would love what they were doing. Yet rather than getting upset or anything, she just smirked even more.
"Oh, please. Like Cali hasn't smoked before in her life. Besides... either I'm out there causing trouble, or in here minding my own business with my friend." Which was entirely true. She could easily be out in the living room with everyone else again stirring up s**t, or she could be away from everyone with Irial, finding a way to calm herself down. And for everyone's sake, she chose the second option. Better be safe than sorry, right? Right.

With Spencer saying he would be back, Tabitha snickered some before turning her attention back to the jaguar shifter.
"I have to admit, he is cute. But he's a p***y, isn't he?" The question was asked after Spencer had already left the bathroom again, and she sort of grinned at Irial. If it was one thing about Tabitha, it was that she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. At all. And sometimes, she was brutally honest. "Not sure I can handle being around p***y. Oh... wait..." And with that, Tabitha went straight pokerface. Insulting felines, and there was still one in front of her. "...I don't consider you a p***y though. I... uh... awe man. Sorry." Way to get yourself in trouble, Tabitha. Way to go.

The door opened once again, though, and in came Spencer just as before. But rather than popping in for a second, he invited himself inside and propped himself up on the counter to join their little get together.
"Mm.. I'm Tabitha," she said, answering his question. A slight wave of the hand was made before her eyes trailed down to his cup... oh, yes, that drink was bound to end up in her hands sooner or later.

Kiah headed back towards the house. He had left before the girl came running out of the woods. Upon entering the house he looked at the bags on the floor. Two sat next to each other, that were both his. One, had been loaned to Kaysie and her belongings. Picking both of them up, he headed upstairs. The wood groaned under his weight with every step. He supposed no one got away with sneaking around here. The house would tell on them. As he passed through the hall, he noticed the faces of the ancestors on the wall. Some names he remembered, some he didn't. His father had told him of some battles in the past, while they were on their travels. He had turned them into moral stories, while his uncle had lavished in the bloodshed. Sadly, those were the ones that Kiah remembered most. A lovely looking couple's picture was hung at the end of the hall way. The woman had golden curls curled into ringlets. She had an almost sinister look in her eyes, with high cheek bones, and a painted smile that could make most men fall in love with a single glance. The male had the same blonde hair and regal features. Victoria and William Grieco.

Kiah scowled and walked away from them. They had been long dead before the Joslyn pack had arrived in Winchester. Still, he had been taught all his life they they were the root of all the problems that the Joslyn pack had. Walking into a room, he flipped on a switch. Looking around it momentarily, he saw that it was one of the empty rooms. A bed, a dresser, and a mirror hung on the wall. He wasn't about to unpack tonight. He wasn't exactly sure how long they were staying. Kiah glanced up, taking a look at his reflection. His hair looked like he had been running his hands through it, as it stuck out in odd directions. A nervous habit. His face was scruffy, needing to shave. A sigh escaped him, and he stuck his hands into his pockets and left the room.

He walked down the hall and headed down the stairs. Walking in the direction of the living room. He passed by the group huddled around the new female, and he eyed her momentarily. If he had been in his wolf form, he would have known she wasn't Xammar, and would have been wary of her. But, he wasn't, so he just assumed she was one that he hadn't seen before. His eyes drifted to Kaysie who was sitting on the couch talking with another man. The way the man was looking at her, suggested that he was flirting, or at least attempting it. He had a drink in his hand, and they had all been there at some point. Still, Kiah wasn't to thrilled to see this man had picked Kaysie as his target. Even if they weren't dating, he still felt somewhat possessive over her. Though, he would never admit it, he would be extremely annoyed and even pissed off he caught her with another guy. It would ultimately end up in a fight. He wasn't the sharing type. Standing in the door way, Kiah watched her momentarily to see her reaction. From what he could tell, she was giving him an earful. A small smirk fell on his lips at the sight, just when Spencer appeared in front of him.

Samael wanted to talk in the kitchen? Spencer had already moved on, presumably to go tell Cali the same thing. His eyes went across the living room, looking for Marcus. Might as well bring his new second in command for his first meeting. Unfortunately, he wasn't in sight. Moving across the living room, he walked into the kitchen, to see Samael. There was something a bit off about the lion. Like something was bothering him. It was unusual of the lion, but Kiah could understand under the circumstances. The phone was still in the lion's hand and Kiah raised an eyebrow, looking at it. "What's up?" he asked, leaning up against the counters.

Cali went with the other inside of the house. Though, on the way she caught the words of the Joslyn girl. The way she said it, annoyed the piss out of her. Really, she was just tired of people questioning every single damn thing she did! Her mouth tightened into a scowl, as she turned on the girl. "No, you are right. We should just leave her out here to bleed. If we are so weak to not be able to stop one tiny girl, then hell, I'd say we deserved everything we got. Now, hush up before we attract real danger," she said, hurrying the girl along. No, she wasn't fully trusting this new girl. That would be stupid. The girl looked genuinely freaked out, and it was very possible that there was a body out there. Kiah had said he had found one on his land. It was just a matter of whose it was, that bothered Cali. As selfish as it was, she was praying it was someone from another pack.

She ran a hand through her hair and entered the house. People were moving around now, picking out their bedrooms, she supposed. The wounded girl, seemed to stop walking in the middle of the hallway. Turning, blue-green eyes studied the girl. She was demanding the police again. No, that wouldn't do. Samael would probably be the first to blame, since it was his land, which was all fine and dandy for her..but who knew how many were on her land. Plus, if he was taken to jail, then they would want DNA. That wouldn't work. As they entered, Blaine went to question the girl some more. Cali wasn't the best people person, so she let this man guide the answers out of her. As she was listening, Spencer seemed to pop out of no where. Eyes flickered to the cousin of her ex. He had the same eyes as Samael. They didn't look entirely related, but the way they carried themselves, reflected each other.

Samael wanted to talk in the kitchen? She frowned at that, not really wanting to go in there. Kiah was going, so it wouldn't be all that bad. At least with the other male in there, it would temporarily stop the little feud going on between the two and they could act like pack leaders instead of teenagers. As Cali started to head away, she watched with some amusement as the first aid kit was handed to Hunter. She didn't know if the man was any good at that sort of thing. She had been the one to fix up his wounds after the fight. Hopefully, he wouldn't end up hurting the girl. Giving him a small smile, she rounded the corner and entered the kitchen. There wasn't any lights on, which gave the two men an ominous appearance. They were both pretty much big guys. She was quick to ruin it, by flipping the lights on. This whole house was too damn dark. Like they were going for the haunted house look. She was surprised it even had lights instead of candles and s**t. Walking over to the counter, next to Kiah, she propped herself on top of the counter, crossing one leg over the other at the knee and leaning back on the palms of her hands.

The two passed the joint back and forth between them, until it was nearly out. It started to burn at his fingers, he noticed. Still, it didn't bother him too much. He was used to it. He wasn't so sure about Tabby, though. He saw her slouch down against the back of the toilet. She must have been feeling it. Putting it out, he set the roach on the counter. He could put that into a bowl later on and smoke it. He ran a hand through his hair and he sighed, really wishing he had something to lean back against. Or there was the option of just getting into the bathtub and laying down in it. It was something he was seriously considering...

The sound of a door opening, made him look up. He blinked slowly, seeing a dark haired male standing in the doorway. Spencer? Wasn't that what his name was? He recognized him as Samael's cousin. They had probably played together when they were little, considering he was pretty sure they were the same age. His comment only made Irial smile. Cali? Oh, he knew he got on Cali's nerves sometimes. He irritated her, but he always was able to pull himself out of any serious trouble. She could be yelling at him, and he would eventually make it so that she felt bad about doing so. No, he wasn't worried about Cali. Tabby on the other hand would probably just start fighting with Cali, making it all the worse.

The man grabbed something and left. Irial hadn't even heard what Tabby was saying to the man. Really, he was thinking about making up a bowl, and hadn't noticed the man said he would be returning. Picking out the seeds and stems, he filled it into the bowl and lit up as she talked about something. His mind was elsewhere. Lighting up the bowl, he inhaled the smoke until his lungs burned. Holding his breath, he handed the bowl over to her. Only after a moment, did he release, letting smoke fill the room. Oh, he always got better hits with a bowl. He looked at her, not really connecting the dots to what she was saying. His mind was still a little cloudy. Not sure she could handle being around p***y. His mind instantly went to the gutter. "You should. Girl on girl action is hot," he said, looking absent minded at the intricate wallpaper. As she went on, he turned to look at her, and a large grin spread over his face. "Oh," he said, bursting out laughing. His mind didn't really catch the insult. He was in a good mood, over all. It wouldn't have bothered him, even if he had.

The door opened again, and Irial turned to look at Spencer who propped himself up on the counter. There was a cup in his hand. It seemed both he and Tabby were eyeing it. He remembered he had stolen hers and looked down at it, to see it was empty. He had drank it all. "Irial. It's mine," he said, automatically answering the man's question. He then got up from the tub and headed for the door. "I'm getting something to drink," he announced, shutting the door behind him and heading out down the hall way. There was a bleeding girl standing in the hall way surrounded by a few people. "Whose the new chick?" he asked, looking at curiously.

Once Spencer left the room, Samael sighed lightly and leaned back against the counter. His hand went up, thumb and forefinger rubbing at his eyelids some in a bit of irritation. This was becoming too much. He worried of his pack members, and perhaps even worried a bit about the other pack members too. Maybe it was just the stress getting to him, that he was showing a bit of emotion? There was no doubt that once everything settled down, that he would go back to his normal, loathing self. But, you know, there were always changes. Perhaps it wouldn't be as bad. Who knows!

By the time Kiah was in the room, Samael had relaxed a bit by then. His phone remained in his hand; clenched a bit tightly as if he were not wanting to let go of it. Blue eyes studied the Joslyn leader, seeming to think for a moment before he turned his gaze away. However, it was only a minute or two later that Calista entered the room, propping herself up on the counter nearby. Samael remained quiet for a second or two, seeming to think on his words before he was going to say them. He really wasn't sure how to bring this entire thing onto the other two leaders... Should he just be blunt? Should he sugar coat it? Sugarcoating was never his thing, but he knew being blunt in a time like this could easily cause more stress. But, one way or another, he was going to get it out.

"I just received a call from Koreena, my second in command. She apparently got ahold of someone's phone where they're at... and called me." Clearing his throat some, Samael kept his gaze away from both of the leaders, and instead kept it down to the floor. "They're being kept in a jail cell. It's not the actual jail in town, but somewhere old. Uhh... the one running the operation is the doctor, so they said. And a cop is in on it, too. We weren't going to the police, but this just means we have to be more careful." Finally, he brought his gaze up to Kiah. "Koreena said there are two canines and one other girl, but they're not sure what pack she's from. They also said that the smell of skunk was apparent where they're being kept, something about hiding their tracks."

A glance over to Calista was made again, but Samael turned his eyes right back to Kiah again. He was addressing the Joslyn leader out right. "If we search for it, we need someone from your pack to find the scent and track it." His eyes then turned to Cali again. "And we can keep eyes from above with someone from yours. I know you have smaller animals, so any that can fly or climb trees will work. The rest of us that are too big or out of place will need to walk, I guess. Or drive."

It came to Samael, though, that this entire thing could be a trap. Spencer mentioned that people would do things if a gun was to their head, and he knew that was true. Very, very true. And because of that, he wanted to be careful. "Now, we don't know if this is a trap or what, but we need to remain careful about it. We won't go out tonight, because it's too dark. Perhaps in the morning?" And now, he left it open for them to comment and probably argue.

User ImagexxxxO n c e they finally managed to get the very upset female inside the male known as Blaine tried to further comfort the girl. Although before they came in the blonde the other male was speaking too made some comment about letting a stranger in and whatever else, honestly it didn't even matter considering there were many, many of them and only one of her. Besides... would a hunter truly injure themselves and be that freaked out over a body? Hunter couldn't help but smirk at Cali's response towards the other blonde. Oh he loved the sarcasm and fistiness of the female he was growing slowly to like. The then sat down inside and only moments later people were asking who she was, Hunter did not know so he didn't bother responding. Then some tall dark haired dude came in, asked Cali to go to the kitchen to see Samael, looking at the blonde he just wanted to see her reaction, he smiled back to her after she smiled. She was so gorgeous. Spencer then continued by handing him a first aid kit, calling him buddy. The polar bear cocked his head back to look at the other male, holding the kit sideways within his large hand, the look on his face implied that he was thinking What the ******** am I supposed to do with this?, then he shook his head an looked away standing up to get closer to the injured girl.

xxxxT h e guy who just gave him the white box of stuff, in which he had to use to help this girl, then asked everyone what their names were. Ignoring him for now he moved to sit on the table he looked at her, leaned towards her, he didn't know Cali had watched him for a few moments before leaving the room, doubting his knowledge of a first aid hit. Although, she was probably right in all honesty, he's never used one of these things before! Looking to the dark haired woman before her he smiled in his charming fashion, "Hello miss, I'm Hunter... and I would like to help you. Maybe fix that... you know... wound on your leg?" he said kindly, trying to sound a bit funny to perhaps make her feel a little more comfortable with the whole situation at hand. Looking her over she seemed to have some abrasions on her hand, he could only see one, but her ankle was the worst of it, the blood receding through her pants. Opening the kit and putting it on his lap he looked through what was in it, the male was a little overwhelmed but then he though to what Cali did to help him he then knew what to do.

xxxxA f t e r gabbing the peroxide, some gauze, a large white bandagy thing, and a tensor bandage Hunter looked up to the woman who no one knew who she was. With kind eyes he looked at her, "May I?" he asked as he was reaching down to gently take a hold of her calve to pull her leg up. He then rested her heal on his thigh. Peering through his blonde bangs he waited a moment or two to proceed to make sure she'd allow him to do this. If she did he would gently roll up her pant leg and until her make shift bandage as gently as he possibly could. He kind of wondered how comfortable she felt with him doing this, being as he had a black eye and a bandage already on his neck and all. Sighing he slowly unraveled the bloody shirt sleeve from her wound and then allowed it to fall to the ground, what else was he supposed to do with it? Allowing her heal to remain rested on his thigh he moved to open the peroxide bottle and a wad of gauze. Looking at Jessica sternly he warned her, "This is going to hurt, but trust me." he said, throwing those words out there to maybe ease her mind. If he really wanted to hurt her he wouldn't be so gentle and kind about it thus far. Pouring a little of the burning sensation into the gauze he then squeezed it above her puncture wounds on her ankle and every other cut in the area before dabbing it with the white cloth like material. Every now and again he looked at her through his bangs again to check if she was alright. He knew how much this hurt but he was going to be done soon. Once the wounds looked much more clean and there was a lot less blood he replaced the now crimson stained cloth with the long bangage, in which he wrapped losely around her ankle, taped it there then wrapped the tensor bandage around the ankle and foot for support. "I'm sorry for hurting you but I'm all done, hopefully it will start to feel better soon. Try to keep off it for a while yeah?" he said, doing all of this when and if she allowed him of course! After that he would tend to the cuts and what not on her hands or anywhere else she'd allow him and then he'd walk to the nearest bathroom, throw all the used crap away and then scrub his hands clean for several minutes. He was no bloody doctor! But he sure hoped that what he did was the right thing to do!

Tabitha had observed how Irial worked his magic on Calista before. How he turned everything around and made her feel bad about being mad at him or yelling at him. Part of Tabby envied that area of the jaguar shifter. He never seemed to have a temper or blow things out of proportion, just seemed to turn everything around after remaining calm, and somehow manage to make their leader feel bad in the end for being mad and yelling at him. How did he do it? How did he even manage it? Calista was a hothead, and Tabby had never seen anyone do something like that aside from Irial. Perhaps she would need to take lessons from him... but first, she would have to calm her own temper down. Because Tabitha was a lot like Cali in the end; temperamental, aggressive, and get what they want. It was one reason why the two of them never really got too close, and didn't really even talk to eachother a whole lot. If one said the wrong thing, the other would explode. That was the bad part of having two women like that in the same pack, because their personalities collided.

By the time the bowl was passed to her, Tabitha was relaxing entirely back against the back of the toilet. She took it, listening to him as she took her turn with the bowl. Inhaling, holding, and exhaling, then handing it back to him. And once she fully exhaled, it was then that Irial finished speaking about girl on girl action. Laughing, the raccoon shifter shook her head some, finding it quite humorous that his mind had went to the gutter. Then again, if it was the other way around, her mind would have went straight to the gutter as well. That was just one of the perks about being a natural pervert, wasn't it?

Spencer had come back in, and Tabitha had already answered his question. Irial did as well, stating his name and claiming his property that was within the bathroom. The raccoon shifter smirked some, just watching the two. She would be the first one to admit she enjoyed being surrounded by men. But once Irial said he was leaving, Tabitha's face turned into a frown. She whimpered some, reaching out to try and grab his hand but not really putting much effort into it.
"Noooo, Irial. Don't leave!" But it was too late, as the jaguar shifter was quick to leave the bathroom to go get his drink. She could only hope that he would bring her one back in return, because damn was she thirsty and wanting some more of whatever she'd had in her cup before. It was good.

Turning her attention back to Spencer, Tabitha sat there quietly for a few minutes, seeming to study him with a bit of curiosity and amusement. It might have even become awkward, the fact that there was entire silence from her right now. But, after those few good minutes, she finally opened her mouth to speak. And there was still no brain-to-mouth filter. Like there ever was, though.
"So what kind of p***y are you?" she asked, shifting her sitting position some so she was facing him a bit more. One leg came up to cross under the other at the knee where she was basically sitting on part of it, but it was still comfortable. "You seem like a big one," she said, snorting some at her own words. Of course, she meant what sort of feline he was, and that he seemed like he'd be one of the bigger cats. But once her mind went back to how Irial had thought she was speaking of girl-on-girl action... well, she couldn't help but laugh.

Jessica studied the man in front of her. At first glance he would look like the typical douche bag man that was more interested in his hair and muscles then anything else. He was cute, but in her mind he fell into the type of guy that would be a d**k. Still, there was concern in his voice, which seemed to ease her some and feel less threatened. Even if she wasn't in her bird form often, she had the fight or flight instincts in here. And if she felt threatened for one minute she'd be hauling a** out of here or knocking someone out. Since there was so many of them, she might choose getting the hell out of there. Jessica kind of had a difficult personality, but that was due to her up bringing. She was very much the tom boy and didn't care much for all the girly girl s**t. She would be the first one to jump into a fight or cause one if she felt insulted. Quick to judge and was pretty much blunt with everything in her mind.

"I'm not old!" she said immediately after being called ma'am. Her eyebrows furrowed together, wondering if she had aged some. It had been some time since she had seen herself. She was only eighteen and was assuming she was younger than these people. "And yeah!" she said if it were an dumb question. While balancing the one, she extended a long leg out and pointed to the ankle as if it were on display at an art museum. "Some kind of animal trap hauled my a** up in the air for a good while. Bout didn't make it out," she exclaimed. She had somewhat of a southern dialect. "Is this your land? Cause if it is, by god..." she said, the thought occurring to her and her face immediately turning angry. Whoever made the trap had some kind of messed up mind. Who would torture poor animals like that with barbed wire?

A man approached their little group calling the one blonde woman away. From what she had seen, that female seemed to hold some sort of dominance over the rest. Of course, she had yet to meet the two other leaders. She found it weird. The man said he would get her something and he disappeared. He also looked like the type of guy that was more interested in his hair and muscles. She was beginning to think this was some whole big frat house if it weren't out in the middle of no where. Why would all these people just be living in this house. Well, it was certainly big enough. The man returned with a box of first aid and placed it in the blonde guy's hands.

She tucked her hair behind her ear. She desperately wanted a hair dooey and a shower. She was sure that her mane of dark hair was all over the place. The blonde man approached her, calling her by miss. That was better. "What the hey. Can't mess it up anymore," she said and followed him to one of the couches where he pulled her leg up onto his lap. He opened the peroxide and warned her it was going to hurt. "I'm a big girl," she said, not really having bad experiences with peroxide before. It took a while, but he finished and she had a bandage matching his on his neck. She lifted her leg up in the air and twirled her foot in a circle. "By god, you're good. It's a miracle," she said, with a teasing smile on her face, before she returned her leg into her bubble. He then proceeded to fix up all the other scratches on her. These weren't much from the fall. She was just a little sore from that. Her light weight as a bird probably saved her from more damage. As he worked another man had appeared. She looked him over, and caught the redness of his eyes and his pupils. The way he carried himself and the way he was talking suggested that he was high. Well, she had plenty of expirience when she was younger, but those weren't good times she liked to dwell on. "Jessica. Jess," she answered for them, since they didn't know her name.

Kiah's eyes flickered towards Cali as she entered the room. It was all highlighted as she turned on the light making Kiah blink a few times at the sudden brightness. She made no greeting, just perched herself up on the counter next to Kiah. Kiah in turn leaned up against the counter, his arms crossed over his chest as he waited for the supposedly bad news. It was obvious that it wasn't something good, because Samael kept adverting his eyes down towards the floor instead of looking at them. Samael began to talk and the first sentence was a major red flag for Kiah. Though, he sat there and listened to what all Samael had to say before he decided to speak up.

"First of all, I don't know your pack members or how well they can be trusted. I'm not saying your second in command is a liar, but that sounds way to good to be true and I'm having trouble believing that it's not a trap," he said, straightening up. Who in their right mind would let their kidnappers get to a phone? They had only been gone maybe 12 hours at best and they already had ******** it up. His mind then wandered to the doctor. Cat. The one they had been going to for a few years and was the only human that knew they were shifters. Oh, it was stupid, but a doctor was a tradition that had been going down for years in this town. He supposed it was their own fault for ever trusting a human with their secret. Though, she should probably have hired different people. If the tiger was telling the truth, then someone ******** up bad.

The mention of the skunk smell was interesting. Surely, his pack was best suited in that area. But, he didn't have many people in his pack anymore. They were either missing or taken. Kiah, Kaysie, Ollie, and Deke couldn't be seen walking around for obvious reasons. Keeli would be staying at home and that left Alexis, Blaine, and Marcus. Marcus would be the best candidate, because he was a dog and could just wander around. Alexis and Blaine were so so. Night creatures out in the day often were thought to have rabies. Not something he wanted to put them in. Blaine was smaller and could hide. If it came to it then Blaine and Marcus would be the ones following the trail.

Two canines were there. That didn't comfort him, because there were others missing. Where were they? He could only assume the worst. "If it is a trap then they will suspect us soon. If it isn't then if we wait some of them may die. I will not take my pack out unless we are sure that it is safe," he said, firmly. Really, he was waiting to see how Samael would react to his second in command being called a liar. He didn't know the girl. The few times he had met her, she looked like a typical Grieco Pack which was someone that could not be trusted. Only if Samael was willing to take his entire pack out and risk their lives on her words, and Cali was on board, then he would do it. He really couldn't tell in what state of mind Cali was in. She was someone that was hard to predict, because she acted on the moment. When it came down to it, he wanted to save them all. He would try his best to think of a way to get them out of there, but if it meant the lives of the other members of the pack he would back out.
