'For Jade to be this cold to me, he must be angry but why be angry at me? I know what I did, I saved him cause I love him and I just want us to be together. What ever our burdens are, I want us to both share and carry them.' I look towards the building he is in. 'Jade, please, its no use ignoreing me, what if I end up lost again? the child is still a long way's of from being born but I need you here with me, to support me and to carry me.' I rise from my spot on the well, feeling the ring on my very important left hand heartfinger. "When my heart says its time to talk to him, I will know." My arms wrap around me, my sleep last night froze me, I ended up shivering, I was began to miss Jade's warmth.

Jade turned his heels as he draged a bag of food and with little to no thinking walked up to Lotus. "Eat..." He said placing the food in front of her by droping it. "...need your strength right?...since that is our baby.." He turned and walked away to see where Luke is.

I watch his attempt, I look at the food, I could go for a months with out eating but just half of that with a child inside me. The bag was somewhat, barely contained any nutrients that can help the child grow. I blink and notice a bush full of berries skirting the nearest treeline. Limese Berries, rich in vitamens and anitoxidents, a cross of strawberry and blackberries. I pick up a old basket and make my way over to the bush, paying attention to the surroundings. Nothing in the distance. I start picking them, sampling a few. "I can cook these and make a stew, tea and dry them for travel." I empty the whole bush into the basket. "I should be good for a few several weeks." I catiously back away and into Jade who seemed to be watching me.

Luke opened his eyes slowly and winced as they adjusted to the bare amount of light coming from the sky. He yawned and sat up, scratching his head. He spotted jade a few feet away and he smiled a little. "Morning Jade." He said stretching a little. 'That's wierd, I actually remembered his name this time.'

"My, my, your up!" Jade sarcastically remarked, noticing Lotus out of the corner of his eye picking berries from a bush. 'Be careful.' Jade watched her, she wasn't smiling as usual and a sad look was in her eye's, he felt his heart pinch. 'I'm too cold to her.'

Lotus looked down. "Please, next time, weigh your words before saying them." She hugged her elbows to hide her trembling. "Every action is dredging up my darkest of nightmares, the painful memory, I do not want to become a reality for a second time." She let her voice fail her.

Lotus, did not want this to continue on, she didn't want Jade to treat her like this anymore.

"I am a mother of four at the moment, and all them are back on Auldrant, I know my apprentice can look after them but all them same, I am worried about the one growing inside me. And I cannot help but have my doubts about if we can ever return home and how are we going to do so." The glyphs on her hands softly glowed. "I don't want to be left in the cold."

Lotus began to return to building from where they are resting in.

Jade had never heard her being so insecure and he knew she would rather want to be safe. It was in that moment, he was taken back to that day when they found her family laying on the ground with their blood spilt. Her immediate reaction after the shock had set in was to take revenge but he held her close that day on what was supposed to be a momentous occasion, now was a day of mourning. And his own actions was making her mental state waiver.

He too is a father of four and shared the same worry some feelings about it then the thought of the fifth child who is growing inside this amazing woman he married. Their child. This wonderful woman who holds three military ranks in one hand and a family in another, all the while maintains her positions as a descendant of one of Yulia's followers who has been set free from the score a long time ago.

Jade reached out and wrapped his arms around her before she could get away. He knew what he did wrong and should have made it right. Her insecurities made him frustrated.

Lotus thought she had gotten away fast enough. Her face flushed and she trembled in his arms. But she was relieved when Jade had stopped her, her words got through his cold exterior.

Lotus covered Jade's left hand with her own only to be grasped firmly as the rings made a soft 'kink.' It was then she felt like she couldn't stand on her own and leaned deeply into his warm chest. Grateful that he understood about how she felt even though she had to rationally speak it but it was her voice.

For now, she didn't know what to speak and it seemed that actions was better suited.

Jade felt the Fonic glyphs on his palms glow with heat. He knew that it was a reaction to Lotus' own. The sensation of her insecurities shifted into serenity as they passed through his being. There had been a few times he had felt her feelings pass through his body and once before the glyphs were applied. Lotus had called it Emotional Astral Transfer and its a skill that her blood line and the branch families shared, more commonly between the

He was one who inherited such blood. And that explained why he could Master Fonic Artes at a young age. Yet the Glyphs did not grant use of other elements that the body could not handle, they simply enhanced the users own ability.

He took her hand in his hand the instant they touched and then her body weight suddenly leaned on him. It was relief that melted away under her relaxing muscles.

He buried his mouth next to her ear. "It frustrates me to see you insecure but it frustrates me more that I made you so insecure. I heard you, loud and clear. So, I will wait when you have that Mommy Moment like with our other four children, and tell me in your own way. We will return home, to Auldrant, to our family. My Heart." Ghosting a string of kisses from her ear to her jaw that made her shiver.
