Name: Claire (Last name unknown) Age: 19 Gender: Female Orientation (Most should be straight considering time period, please ask for permission otherwise): Straight Personality or Attitude: Paranoid, easily frightened, perfectionist, neat freak, not talkative. Bio: Claire suffers from Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She has a chronic fear of practically everything, including darkness, the organ in the Opera, horses, fire, and the list goes on. She was brought to the Opera at age 3 when the symptoms of her mental disorders began to appear. Her parents didn't want a child that was scared of her own shadow and they believed she would never find a husband with her OCD symptoms, and that is how she came to be a phantom. Claire is more than happy to hide herself from the workers and guests at the Opera, for large groups and many workers terrify her. She is content as a phantom. Likes: Arranging things, counting, sewing, being alone. Dislikes: Large groups, loud noises, bright light, animals. Picture: Extra: She is fascinated by the stage hands and secretly watches them build props often. She has a very average height. She doesn't eat much.

Name: Luukas Harju Age: 22 Gender: Male Orientation: Bisexual Personality or Attitude: Defiant, fatherly, protective, intolerant, distracted. Bio: Luukas was born with scoliosis. His parents kept him locked away and hopped from town to town to hide him. When they came to Paris a family friend told them of the Opera. They had their friend come to fetch Luukas and take him to the Opera, but on accident Luukas hit his head on the cobblestone ground and although his skull and brain were unharmed he had a huge cut and a number of smaller cuts that would become scars. The man who took him to the Opera looked after him for a couple years until he was old enough to fend for himself. He has been in the Opera longest, since he was 2 and therefore he feels like he has to watch over the other phantoms as if they were his own children and lead them. He welcomes any new phantom warmly, but takes a strong dislike to the the workers above. Likes: light, caring for the other phantoms, sweets, chandeliers. Dislikes: Hiding, darkness, covering his scars and his spine, the workers. Picture: Extra: He is finnish and a bit on the tall side. Out of all the workers the ballerinas annoy him most, he calls them "wenches who hold themselves in high regards and only took they job they did in hopes of finding a husband." Yes he is one of the few people there that is not heterosexual. Don't expect too many others, for there are very few.

Name- Ema Nicole
Age- 14
Gender- Female
Orientation- Straight
Personality- Quiet, curious, brave, calm, shy
Bio- Ema was born into the Nicole family, a noble and very wealthy family. She was born with solid, pure, gray eyes that made her stand out from everybody else. As she grew older she preferred dressing only in black. Her grandparents, who also lived in the household, raised her since her parents were such vain people and didn't consider Ema "perfect". After her grandparents passed on when Emm was 13, her parents sent her to the opera house. She seems content with her new life as a phantom and enjoys watching (from the shadows) the ballerinas dance.
Likes- Black, roses, dolls (mainly porcelain), opera, reading, hats, ruffles, candles, ballet, piano, and nightime.
Dislikes- nobles (due to her parents), silence, spiders, mess, mean/judgemental people.
Pic-
Extra- Before being taken to the opera house, Ema took her late grandfather's poketwatch and keeps it close to her always. She is five foot and considers herself small. She can sing and dance but is shy so she prefers to do so in private. She enjoys playing the piano as a way to remember her grandmother.

Name: Juliette
Age: 19 1/2
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Personality: Calm, quiet, rational, occasionally rebellious
Bio: Juliette was given her name because her mother loved the play 'Romeo and Juliet'. She was born with no ability to hear but learned to read lips perfectly. When she was fifteen she was the size of a ten year old. Doctors tried to fix this through experimental operations which only left scars along her waist and upper legs. Her parents knew she would never marry due to her height, hearing inability and now scars so they left her at the opera house. At first she did not wish to be a phantom but after a year she grew comfortable and is now happy.
Likes: Red, cats, owls, piano, opera, music, writing songs or the occasional short opera/story
Dislikes: Storms, mess, being called a child or short, fights
Picture:
Extra: The songs Juliette writes she will sing softly to herself. She likes to keep her dresses short so they don't get ruined under the opera house. She takes pride in her striking red hair because it is uncommon and also draws attention from her height issue. Though she is almost twenty, she is often confused for a thirteen year old. As she grew older, she learned that most voices sound muffled to her, however, she rather read lips.

Name: Lilly (last name unknown) Age: 17 Gender: Female Orientation: Straight Personality or Attitude: Monophobic, has seperation issues. Coy and gullible, but defensive. She doesn't really remember life outside the Opera House, and therefore is not resentful. She's curious about a lot of things and loves to learn. While she is usually shy around newcomers and people she doesn't know, she is very lively once she gets to know someone, and when she develops a crush on a boy she will take on a more playful attitude. Bio: When Lilly was five years old, her abusive, drunken father hit her in the jaw with a shattered glass bottle, breaking her jaw and giving her multiple glass cuts on her chin and lips. Due to the time period, doctors were unable to heal the broken bones, so her jaw remained as it was. Her broken jaw prevented her from closing her mouth, which caused drooling and slurred her speech. Her father eventually grew so irritated with this disability that he forced Lilly's mother to sew the girl's mouth shut. Lilly's mother accomplished this task, but Lilly needed to eat, and desperately yanked the stitches out, further damaging her lips. Sick of dealing with their impaired daughter, Lilly's parents sent her to the Opera House. When Lilly was fifteen, she hit her head on her way to the lower levels of the Opera house and acquired amnesia. She is currently recovering, trying to remember things such as her own names as well as those of the other phantoms. And, because of her damaged lip and jaw, she is rendered mute. Likes: Other people, learning, fire, scarves, necklaces, the garden. Dislikes: That she can't talk, the color green, being alone, rats, water. Picture: Extra: She doesn't remember any of her childhood due to amnesia, and because of this Luukas tells the phantoms not to remind her of what happened when she was young. Although she cannot speak she can understand others when they speak. Nobody knows her last name or ethnicity. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Name: Jules
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Orientation: Bisexual
Personality or Attitude: protective, curious, brave, smart, kinda rebellious at times, calm
Bio: Jules was born out of wedlock, his father being a married noble and his mother a dancer. Jules once lived with his mother in the opera house where he was picked on by all the workers for his lack of father and the wine stain birthmark that covered his shoulder and part of his back. When he was nine, one of the children dancers shoved him down the stairs out front of the Opera House enterance. This left a noticable scar on the left side of his face from his forehead to right above his jaw. Tired of the way he was treated, Jules ran away to the Opera House cellars to be a Phantom. He is content being a phantom and prefers this life than the one he once had.
Likes: light, dark, roses, black, music, singing, cats, warmth
Dislikes: Workers of the opera house (for their past treatment of him), nobles, mess, cold, morning (not a morning person)
Picture:
Extra: Jules is like an older brother to everyone but mainly Juliette because of her hearing disabilities. He grew his hair long to cover the scar on his face, not wishing to relive the memories. He watched over his mother in shadows until she left the Opera to care for her ailing sister.

Name: Aria Bonasera/L'Enfant
Age: 18 ½
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Personality or Attitude: Quiet, smart, creative, may come off cold, temperamental, adventurous Bio: Aria was born into an Italian middle-class family. She was born with blood red eyes and also a strange birth mark in the shape of a tear drop under her right eye. The reasoning behind her eyes was a medical mystery. At the age of fifteen, a few years after her father died of a terrible case of pneumonia, her mother re-married a wealthy, French noble and the two moved into his estate in Paris with his son. Her new family looked down on Aria for her strange eyes and birthmark, while people in the upper-class also did not take a liking to Aria due to her "poor upbringing." Due to this, Aria often locked herself in her bedroom where she would play her violin and write music. After a terrible argument broke out between her and her step-father, he threw Aria's sheet music into a flaming fireplace. In a desperate attempt to retrieve the few that had not yet touched the embers, Aria lunged for them, only to fall into the fire herself, resulting in burn scars along the left half of her body from the tip of her hairline down to her hip. Out of anger and inability to find normalcy in her life, Aria ran away to the Opera House where she stumbled upon the Phantoms and joined the family.
Likes: Music, her violin, singing, moonlight, winter, red Dislikes: Fire, nobility, summer, chaos
Picture:
Extra: She uses her long, chocolate brown bangs to cover some of her scarring while she uses makeup to hide the rest. She also loves to dress in a dark red gown with roses and a matching headband that matches her eyes, as well as a black ribbon around her neck that holds a charm with an etching of her step-family’s crest with an X through it. Her prized possession is a violin that her father had given to her on his deathbed.
