Violca the Dancing Gypsy

Damien smiled at her blush adn gave a second of thought before he spoke about himself, trying to think of anything interesting to tell her. "Well, I'm afraid I have nothing exciting to tell you about me. I've been in slavery all my life. I have been taught to clean and cook. Which I think I can do pretty well. I'm 20 years old and have only had three masters since I can remember. A child, a farmer and a sweet's shop owner; now I am in your service." He added with a light bow of his head.

Violca gently lifted his chin."Please just call me Violca" she said gently. "Well I need to clean a bit so would you like to help" she asked.

Damien gave a smile as she asked if he'd like to help. "I'll clean up, you saved me from another night in that place so I owe you. Besides I don't want to think I'm not doing my share for my keep."

Violca shook her head "it's fine I have to do something or I'll be bored, you know what they say about idle hands" she said with a giggle. She went inside the Caravan and grabbed a broom and a bucket and wash towel.

Damien smiled lightly and held out a hand to take which ever item she did not want to do at the moment.

Violca handed Damien the bucket "Lets get started we need to clean the outside of the Caravan" she said with a smile. She quickly started on the caravan wiping it clean of dirt so that Damien can wash it.

James gave a nod as he followed behind her washing the caravan and ringing out the washcloth. He admired the details of the wood as he worked.

Violca watched Damien ever once in awhile seeing how he was doing. She smiled he seemed a soft soul which made her feel good knowing she had gotten someone like herself. "So Damien may I ask how many Master's you have?" she asked curiously

Damien gave a smile as he spoke, still washing as he did. "Just the three, Mi.. Violca." He blushed lightly at calling her by name, but she had requested it of him. "If I may be so bold as to ask how many slaves you have had?"

Violca blushed when he asked slightly embarrassed "Well none my family owned one when I was younger but he was not mine" she said simply. She noticed that he had used her name she smiled that he had listened to her.

James nodded as she told him her answer and turned his head as she smiled. "I think it still counts." He said with a smile. Still working on the carvan.

Violca shook her head with a smile "Then we disagree" she said with a light laugh. "So why do you think it counts?" she asked as she swept away a spider.

James smiled. "Well even though you didn't have a personal slave you were still aloud to give orders and such... Right?" He asked as he rang the rag out and scrubbed at some tough dirt near the bottom of the caravan. He sneezed once into his sleeve and twitched his nose, his allergies acting up.

Violca finished all the sweeping and put the broom away and gathered another rag and began to help Damien clean. "not really I treated him like an elder, my family never believed in treating slaves like objects but people who needed to be part of home" she said with a light smile as she thought of her family.
