"I was 13, living in the constant shadow of my sister. When we both got hit and she displayed her new power, I was excited! I knew I too had something. But then....nothing. Once more my sister would take the spotlight! I snapped. Do I regret it now? Yeah I do. I shouldn't have killed her." Liv spoke out more fiercely than before. She did not like anyone 'seeing' the past she tried so hard to bury. She felt too....exposed." And all of this proves my point even further! SHE was supposed to be here! NOT ME! My role model sister! Don't act like you know everything. You just said you didn't see Heather's involvement!"

She got up and slammed her hands on the table. " And I am NOT with them! I NEVER worked for them! I used them to get what I wanted! I plan to take out whoever is controlling Heather and blast that ******** AND Dusk into oblivion!" Liv almost shouted out in anger.

Trinity nodded, "Apology accepted Rydia, I quite understand. I've got my own set of routines and it just ruins the momentum having to stop in the middle of it all."

"Trinity Smith, at your service." she bowed briefly.

Rydia's ears piqued with interest. She folded her arms in front of her chest and practically stood on tip toe.

"Oh wow! Stho you're my aunt and uncle'sth sthtudent! I'fe heard stho much about you." She said excitedly.

Adam cleared his throat. "Sorry to interrupt, Rydia, but I have to tend to the coming threat. You should be receiving information in the next few seconds."

He looked down to Trinity and gave her a half salute. "Trinity, I'll see you later." With that he left while closing the doors behind him.

Almost as if on cue, there was a small flash of light and a scroll similar to the one Adam was writing in earlier blinked in front of Rydia. She took it, read it quickly, and tossed it aside.

"Figuresth," she sighed, "I get a chance to finally meet you and it'sth becausthe we're about to be attacked by an ancient riding a dragon. Well, father hasth assthined me to be your partner in the coming siege. I'm sthupossthed to ansthwer any questhionsth you may haf about Dusthk. But we don't haf much time, stho I'll haf to explain thingsth while I change."

She grabbed a towel off of a nearby rack and dried herself off while removing the layers of traditional Japanese ninja garb.

The wolf hound, Carak, made his way over to Trinity and sniffed at her curiously.

"That'sth Carak. It meansth fang. He'sth a gift from Aunt Freya."

Shade had been silent, afraid she would be notice and sealed by the elves. Yet the approach of the wolf hound broke her silence.

"Strange. He should be snarling at us." she mused to Trinity.

Kaelonni wasn't phased by Liv's outburst. Instead, she stood up slowly and approached Liv.

Before another word was uttered, she swiftly wrapped her arms around Liv and embraced her as a mother would. It truly hurt the Queen to see the woman in such a state.

"Like a home movie..." she whispered almost inaudibly.

After a moment she released Liv and took a step back. She then bowed deeply to Liv.

"I beg your forgiveness, but I was not entirely honest. I'm so sorry to have had to say those things. I had to be sure."

She stood up straight again and spoke in a solemn and honest tone.

"As I said, I can see possible futures. You were among the possibilities. I only gleaned enough into your past to see the highlights. The Eleilya takes a toll on my eyesight, and prolonged use increases the likelihood of my going blind."

"Also, I believe you answered your earlier question. Your friend, Heather, means more to you than I think you realize. For her, you have resolved yourself to face a being older than written history. "

"What the he-"" Liv could only say before she heard her whisper in her ear.

Liv remained quiet afer the explanation. She hated being tested for things she knew nothing about. She didn't like these kinds of surprises.

"No, this is just pure vengeance. He got to me and now Heather. I'm glad I can save Heather in the process and I would have done so regardless, I do care about her but that guy is just as important. In a different way." Liv confessed. Heather was a friend yes but that's it. Liv doesn't do relationships. It's all too...clingy,

She took a deep breath." So now what?"

She never got tired of seeing people's responses toward her. It was just as good as seeing Daedalous troops practically wet their pants in fear upon sight of her. Then Adam revealed that his 'number two' was his daughter. She smirked as she realized this What was the point of writing it down, if I could have told her myself? I suppose it's good to know, it's kind of texting someone.... Then Adam mentioned he had to go and make preparations. "Sir, yes sir!" She said returning his salute as Adam walked out the door.

Perhaps it may have been the the size of the wolf, but having Carak sniff her reminded her of Okami. After the wolf sniffed her a bit she pet the creature and scratched the chin. She seemed a little distracted as Shade spoke to her, What makes you say that? It occured to her that no one seemed to be alarmed about her hosting Shade instead of Freya. Perhaps because there was, as the Queen put it 'still hope for her'. That she at least appeared to be handling Shade better than her predecessors. She put that train of thought on pause.

"About Dusk, I've been worried about what this means for Teshoumaru. Am I fighting him in a sense? What becomes of his host?" There was so much going through her head, thinking about the last time she met him. "Facing him, I feel so overwhelmed. He seemed to have watch me through Tesho…. the same went for Shade through Freya. That may be used against me, he already tried messing with me with using the nick name they gave me…. I haven't faced anything like this, so any tips would be helpful. How were you able to seal him before?"

At the sight of DJ Juggalo, as Ako immediately named the youth, He was too stunned by the sheer ridiculousness of the situation to react. A confused "The ********> was the last thing he got out before the record started.

The brown note made his stomach queasy, and his legs weak. It was all he could do to keep the bike upright, but he knew he had to get out of there. He forced his legs to move, picking up a leg to shift the bike into gear, when the bass hit. In a chaotic chorus of light and sound, Ako found himself on his side with one leg pinned under the bike. His only boot on the ground had slipped on the wet concrete with the force of the 'music.' He had to get free, get around the corner of the concrete wall, away from the sound, but the buzzing in his ears confused his thoughts, and made his limbs feel weak.

"Now I offer you my eyes." the Queen replied.

"Since events have brought you here, it means that I'm not long for this world. The eleilya must be passed on if mankind is to survive the coming conflict. My daughter possesses an uncontrollable and incomplete eye because she is not a full blooded elf. So it must fall to one that can make another's power their own, and possesses the blessing of an ancient."

"You see, the Elves are direct descendants of the ancient of life. A cataclysmic events in this planet's youth tainted my ancestors, causing the knowledge of the one we call Coia to become lost. Yet with time, and work, we've slowly been putting the pieces back together. We discovered a way to unlock the knowledge of the ancients. Pass the eleiya to one that is not an Elf."

"Heredity didn't work, and other sappers only went mad with the knowledge. Then I got desperate and broke a long kept taboo by gazing into myself. It was then that I saw you, Liv. The one with Lumin's blessing that could bare the knowledge and not lose her mind."

"But, this also hinges on whether you can bestow powers in the same way you take them. If not, then the coming war becomes nearly impossible to overcome. If so, than humanity has a fighting chance."

"I know that this is a great burden to bare, and that you have not asked for any of this. So I will not force this upon you. If you choose not to take the eleilya, then I only ask that you copy enough of my ability to give you an edge against Dusk."

"The Eleilya will make his weaknesses known to you. It is for this reason that he attacks. If these eyes die, then he can no longer be sealed or killed."

"Animals usually sense me immediately when I am unsealed."

Rydia walked behind a screen and spoke as she changed. "I didn't. It wasth my mother. She hasth the eleilya. In short, she was able to 'sthee' how to stheal him. Like hafing a cheat sheet."

"Asth for Uncle Teshoumaru..."

She actually paused for a moment as she steeled up the nerve to say what had to be said.

"If we cannot stheal Dusthk, then we will haf to kill my uncle. It sthoundsth like sthomething happened in the last fifteen yearsth or stho that causthed histh stheal to be damaged. Dusthk waited until he wasth sthrong enough to overtake my uncle."

"If he hasth histh hooksth in deep enough, he will haf Uncle Teshoumaru's combat prowessth asth well as histh ancient powersth. All while my uncle is fully aware of what transthpiresth around him."

She fastened a few more straps and clasps before stepping around the screen. She was adorned in User Image a black bodysuit and red samurai armor that had been modified to allow for more mobility and to more easily adhere to the female form. She had her hair tied back into a wild high ponytail, and the wrap that had covered her left eye before had been replaced with a red headband baring the crest of her mother's family.

"But know thisth: at no point will you be fighting my uncle directly. He hasth lostht all control of histh body. Don't let that monsther convincthe you otherwisthe." she stated before pulling a slip of red cloth over her nose and mouth.

Offer her the eyes? The thought came to her before. Take the eyes and just run. But all of this was a lot to take in. Ancient life before all of this? The world doesn't even know about elves or what she talks about. Just what happened?

"So you....looked into your own future and saw me?" She asked." But...as far as I know I can only take and I can't...." And that's when she had a rare bright moment." The source.....according to Dusk I don't drain it from a person but take it from the source where it all comes from. If the meteorite only activates it and the source is already in everyone then....maybe...I could open the door. If that's what you mean." Liv said, explaining it mostly to herself out loud.

"If I drain you even a little, it will tire you out. From what I've seen....you're one of the strongest in here. We might need that edge as well...."

The colored waves began to converge and pound the around within the range of the destructive cone emitting from the speakers. Gidget felt like she was being hit with a fastball every time one of them made contact with her body.

Thinking was almost impossible, but she knew something had to be done.

Blindly, she aimed the palm of her right hand toward where she thought the sound may be coming from. Her glove split and fell apart as her prosthetic hand expanded and revealed a what looked like a small glowing hole in the middle of her palm. The hole lit up and launched a glowing ball with he sound of a cracking whip.

DJ Dead Light was enjoying the party until Gidget's wild shot sailed way to close for comfort. He ducked down instinctively as the plasma bolt sailed past the right amp and blew apart of chunk of concrete behind it. The music slowed to the initial beat that played before the drop as soon as the DJ removed his hands from the controls.

Gidget was able to think again. She still felt sick and dizzy, but she could see that she had been tossed a few feet from Ako and that he was pinned under his motorcycle.

Her hand collapsed back to normal before she scurried over quickly and lifted the bike off of Ako's leg with right arm.

"C'mon, we need to get behind one of these pillars before the bass drop hits again."

Kaelonni shook her head. "When I said I'm not long for this world, I meant that I will not survive this battle. You will drain me, yes, but I have built a reserve of ki for this very situation. It wont be enough for me to defeat Dusk, but I can keep the people of this island safe."

"Knowing all that I have told you, what is it that you will do now? Will you take the knowledge of the ancients with the eleilya and pass it on to my daughter, or will you take enough to grant you the all seeing eye? Just remember that either way you must be careful. Using the eleilya too much will damage your eyes beyond what even meta human healing can repair."

"Right." she said softly. Although she knew she would be fighting Dusk, if she killed Dusk she would be killing her sensei. She felt rather conflicted on this matter. She truly admired the man, though stricked he was calm, and level headed. At least right now she wouldn't have to worry about having to face Freya as well since she was hosting her ancient. Having to win against them to graduate was no easy task. If Dusk was paying attention all this time he probably would make things harder.

He was the one who rescued the trembling girl that was being held captive by the crazed Leviathan. But in a sense she had to return the favor, to free him from Dusk's captivity. Beginning to feel a little at peace with this she looked to Rydia's suite, which appeared to be traditional samurai armor.

"Something has happened to Freya's seal... are the seals connected as well? Daedalous found a way to release the ancient that resided in Freya... and that was when, I became her host. Technically she's unsealed isn't she... the ancient I'm hosting. She was saying just now, that animals sense her when she's unsealed. I know Tesho tried to place the blood seal upon my neck but for some reason, my ancestor's blood prevented that. So I'm not clear if she is truly unsealed or, if perhaps she had been sealed in a different way."

When the music stopped, Ako didn't know whether to puke, hold his head, or actually try to get out from under his bike. Thankfully, Gidget took one of his options away, strong-arming the bike off his foot. With a grunt of effort, and a little pain, he got to his feet. He nodded in agreement with Gidget's immediate plan, though the movement accentuated the pain in his head. This is why he preferred rock, this new music was just a lot of noise to him. At least his foot wasn't injured, thanks to the boots designed to protect from just such an event.

As quickly as he could with a bruised ankle, he made his way behind a pillar. Due to lack of space, he had to pick one across the aisle from Gidget. His first thought was just to fry the DJ from here, but the water made that a problem. He and Gidget were standing in water, as well as wearing wet clothing thanks to being knocked off the bike. Add to that, the DJ was insulated.

"How's that plan coming along?" He asked cross the aisle to Gidget. He tried to keep his voice low enough that the DJ couldn't hear, but who knew how loud he was talking while his ears buzzed. "See any problems with me just hitting him with a bolt from here? He's insulated from the water, so we should be safe if I aim for him."

Gidget shook her head furiously as she shouted, "Whatever he's sending through the speakers now is messing with our inner ears. A direct shot will be next to impossible. Plus we're drenched. Unless you can summon lightning directly above-"

That's when she noticed that the bass hadn't dropped again. Was there a limit to what he could punch through with sound, or was he really that dedicated to his craft.

"How do you feel about being tossed?"
