More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Alexavier pondered about her question for a bit." Just tell her she should make it a top priority that Cassandra doesn't feel threatened. Or rather, make sure that there aren't situation she can confuse with a threat against her kid. Kids should be fine though. She can be....very protective."

Cassandra heard the stomping of Lawrence's running. It was headed her way. Damian and Christian were here as well. Carefully she put Damian down and stood in front of both Christian and Damian. Nothing would get to those boys. Nothing,

The creature was taking it all in. This well aged man desired to know about him. Not judging nor condemning, just a desire for a story. Strange, the being thought. An aged man, shaped by his past and ideals held no prejudice against it. That one simple request made the being want to share information, his story.

" I fear that there is not much for me share with you. I have only been alive for minutes. I just hatched." The being said and was interrupted.

"Hatched, you say? As in an egg?" The old man asked curiously laced his voice.

"Yes, I do not know if that is how your species reproduces but that is the way that was used to birth me.." The creature calmly explained. The old man interested him.

"You really do not know?

"That is correct, as previously stated I have only emerged from my shell a very short time ago."

The old man raised his eye brow as he stared at the being. Perhaps it was feeling amazement or curiosity. Though the creature knew of these words it could not identify the feeling. It was simply foreign to it.

"Well....us 'humans'....reproduce through man and woman." The aged man seemed slightly uncomfortable as he coughed a bit. "After the man...impregnates the woman the baby would grow inside of the woman for around 9 months after which she gives birth to it."

The being felt something new. It wasn't anything like the heavy feeling of earlier it got when talking to Trinity. No this was something new. It felt a lot lighter and seemed to urge him to absorb more knowledge. It wanted to learn. Was this feeling....curiosity?

"That is.....interesting."

"I know the feeling" Theonis replied as they continued to walk."Though it may be best for you to get a room of your own. I am going to do some gravity power training. I am thinking around 30 to 50 times. Last time I made it up to 10 but that was with the added weight of 1000 kg. Now unless you are a lot more sturdy than you look, I am not sure that is a good idea for you."

Soon they arrived at the training facility and were greeted by Richard.

"Sup Rich. I'm going to borrow the gravity room for a bit. But Ako here is a energy Meta or to be more precise Electricity. So you got something for him?"

Larry came to an abrupt halt a few.feet in front of Cassandra. A gust of wind followed close behind that made his hair and clothes sway slightly before becoming still again. He looked down at the woman with some annoyance. He had to find his sister and this Lady was impeding his progress.

His features softened when he noticed the boys she was guarding. With some consideration he realized he probably would've plowed over them if it hadn't been for her.

"Sorry about that. Heather's disappeared from her room, which was on fire. I'm trying to find her."

Christian raised a brow at Cassandra's defensive stance as Larry's footsteps came hurtling towards them. It almost irked him, as he considered himself fairly capable of taking care of himself defensively to a point. After all, he did inherit his mothers ability to control the molecular compound of liquids. Then again it was probably better that Cassandra serve as a physical barrier for him then him to attack using his powers.

When Larry arrived and explained his rush Christian sighed and said, "If her room was on fire, I would hypothesize she evacuated the room. I'm sure she is around here somewhere. Did you see any bodies there? No. She's gone, right? Well, she must have left somewhere, and that somewhere is probably somewhere else in Valhalla that is safer than a burning room."

Annie glanced up from the phone at Alexavier and rolled her eyes, before muttering, " "very protective"...You think? Understatement of the day."

The text sent to Trinity read:
Not returning to V immediately. Getting some air. And Alexavier says make sure Cassandra does not feel the kid is threatened.

Annie sent the message and glanced back up and sighed, "There, message sent. I have done my duty to Valhalla."

Larry shook his head. "I heard the alarm go off. I went to the room a few seconds after that. Three people without that power don't just disappear."

Damien blurted oout, "She's in a room with three other women. She scared, but unharmed. Sorry I didn't say anything sooner. I've gotten the impression that people don't like randomly having their thoughts probed. So I try not to."

Larry sighed with relief and smiled. He looked over at Christian and admitted, "You were right. I should've listened to you."

Rikki Tikki Travi

Heather whipped her neck around in a fright after being pulled into the shadow realm again. She didn't like it the first time, and it sure didn't settle well with her now. She rolled onto her knees and blew the remainder of flame she had been clamping off into the ground beneath her. The flames plumed and disipated around her, licking her scales but never burning.

She panted heavily, smoke puffing out of her mouth with each exhale. Her mind was still trying to register what she saw. She was a dragon person. A very nak-

Her desire for modesty took over. She rolled onto her rear and drew her knees in. Her wings wrapped around and covered her nude form. She stretched her neck out and peeks out over her leather drapings.

"I think I got it. I just can't breath in real hard. I remember what happened now. Where's Lawrence?!"

Trinity noticed her modesty and started toward the mirror. She heard her ask about Lawrence. "Alright girls I'm going to need your assistance. Kerana find something Heather can wear. Deora find Lawrence and bring him there. Heather I need to make sure it's safe for him to come here. Lets have a conversation, perhaps something with a lot of H's in it. If a sharp breath can start a fire I need to make sure you can have a conversation without your fire going off. Further more you need to know how to stop it when it does go off."

Christian shot a dirty look at Damien briefly before addressing Larry and joking, "Of course I am right: I am a genius." He glanced over at Damien and added with a smile, "A genius without using powers to acquire knowledge..."

"So now what? We could always just wander around." Alexavier said. "It's not like I got any hobbies or anything like that. Hey I know! We could go and ravage a Daedelus facility. Could be fun" It was hard to tell if he meant it or not.

"Sure, death, destruction, all that jazz: sounds like a blast," Annie said somewhat sarcastically in regards to destroying a Daedalus facility. She frowned for a moment and then raised a brow and mused, "Actually that sounds sort of tempting. Is there one close? I only know some of the larger facilities. I bet with my power upgrade I probably could destroy a whole facility myself. The only thing that stopped me from being able to before is my body's own limits. Oh... but then again that stopped Daedalus from really trying to make better use out of me than just testing, which kept me more or less content with my lot. Or it did for a while."

She shrugged and said, "Seriously though, I'm on good behavior for now. No ravaging facilities, killing people, threatening people... I am trying to focus on art, keeping myself distracted, and finding my inner peace or some sort of rubbish like that."

"Didn't you already threaten people today? I don't really think it's working. Not sure if you can afford it anyway with the whole potential Apocalypse from an egg thingy that's currently going on." Alexavier replied.

"But yeah there is one nearby. Nearby being relative. It's been a while since i've had someone hug someone to death."

"Have I threatened people today? Hmm... yeah, I probably have," Annie said with a shrug. "Okay how about 'better behavior'? And I did say 'for now'. I am aware of the whole problem with the egg thing. That is concerning and I would probably have to return to a more destructive stance, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there."

"What about you? Are you trying to be on good behavior or are you more of an opinion of 'screw it'? I mean quite frankly you have more reason than me to lash out at others," Annie continued.

"Well if I followed your logic I'd have to direct all of that towards Daedelus since they made the way I am. And following that thought process would lead me back to you since you started this whole mess. But I don't think you'd want me to kill you. Unless you still got those suicidal tendencies"

"Ah, but it really wasn't originally me, totally. The reason I first partook of the pure radiation was to give myself an edge against the person who first started 'juicing' with that stuff. I may have been the piece of straw that broke the camel's back leading up to Daedalus, but that doesn't mean there weren't a ton of other factors there too," Annie argued. "And additionally, I wouldn't call it suicidal tendencies, more of an indifference towards my own life and livelihood. Suicidal tendencies implies I was actively seeking death, in actuality I just merely not actively practicing life preservation methods."
