[Narration Post]

Since their separation, the two groups of Earthlings have since begun their journeys, refreshed from their earlier battle with the deadly Replicas.

Those gathering the Wise Beings have made it to Halloween Town, scouring the holiday city for any sign of Oogie Boogie or the Enchantress.

Those in search of King Mickey have arrived at the Emperor's Palace in the Land of Dragons, though there is some concern as to the Emperor's state.

What they don't know, however, is what is most troublesome.

The Renegade Ronin, Cory, has begun a league of rogue powers who call themselves the Forgotten Flock. He has since recruited Timmy, an Earthling in search of power to help his friends. Alice, a girl with a more sinister origin than even she is aware of, has decided to tag along until she loses interest. With Captain Hook and his flying ship, the Flock sets sail to accomplish their personal goal- to keep the worlds as they are, no matter who stands in their way.

Maria and her Nobody allies have since joined forces with Kefka, who has invited them into his dark tower. With help from the demented clown, Maria has forcefully absorbed the Fae Witch, Kallista, thus increasing the shapeshifter's magical potential. Maria, however, is now in hibernation, resting from the process and leaving Xaldin in charge. The group now awaits for their next member to turn the tables, to betray his current comrades due to a strange curse put onto him...

The Tainted Replicas have captured Davy Jones' locked, beating heart, essentially enslaving the immortal captain of the Flying Dutchman. Using him, they now have access to all the seas and oceans of the world without fear.

Noticing their ascension to power, Xaldin and Kefka struck an alliance with the replicated entities. None are truly trustworthy, yet each work in tandem to their own goals, knowing it far more beneficial to be together than separate.

The Earthlings, while ignorant of the devious alliance in the shadows, know they must hurry to accomplish their goals. The fate of their homeworld lies in their hands, that much they know; beyond their foresight, however, is the truth behind their arrival, and just how important they are...

[Kyle ; Sora : HT : Plaza]

Kyle kicked the stone well in the center of the plaza, feeling the light frustration of everyone in the group. Even Sora was feeling a bit annoyed. It wasn't hard to understand; they'd scoured pretty much all of Halloween Town for Oogie's lair. It wasn't in its first spot, in that field a distance away. It wasn't anywhere near the graveyard or that curved hill. Hell, they'd even managed to scour the wreckage of Finklestein's lab (with a feeling of dread still filling the place).

They'd even checked Christmas Town. Santa hadn't heard of or seen the bag of bugs since two years prior, during that whole incident.

Twisting his body around, Kyle sat down on the well's ledge, looking at the rest of the group. Everyone was in their Halloween Town Costumes again, and they were all pretty tired. Well, everyone except for Zeba, who had her cravings for sugar, as per usual. Kyle chuckled at the thought.

And then he froze. He made another quick, inconspicuous glance- no one was feeling funny or giddy, from the looks of it, but he could be mistaken. There was only one way to find out.

"Jenny," Kyle said, looking over to the Time Mage with a look of curiosity. "Can I talk to you for a sec?"

"When is Jack gonna get baaaack," Sora groaned lightly, hanging upside down from the little overhang just above the well, suiting his vampire costume. His Keyblade was still in hand as he swung to and fro aimlessly, bored. Jack Skellington had split with them upon entering Halloween Town, saying he would be checking the underground while they checked above ground. They'd finished, so they'd returned here, where Jack had entered.

With the gathering of the group around the well, Sora couldn't help but wonder why two of their star players decided to stay back at the train: Kuja and Zexion.

Well, Zex did get his butt kicked at the castle, and Kuja rarely comes with us anyway...

[Kefka; Xaldin; Kuja; Seymour; ??? : ??? : Dark Tower]

"Seems to me like your little cloning scheme backfired!" cackled a rather high-pitched man to the side, grinning wildly at Seymour, who was obviously not quite so cheerful. "KAH-BLOOEY! Just like you when you tried to-"

"My errors thus far are but stepping stones to a greater accomplishment, Kefka," Seymour interrupted dully, eyes narrowing at the chaotic jester. "Besides, had a certain Genome not interfered-"

"Watch your tongue, Guado, or your final act will come sooner than you think-"

"Still so childish, Kuja, I'd have expected you'd realized the extent of my goals-"

"This bickering is getting us nowhere," interrupted a deeper tone, devoid of any real emotional connotation. Against the wall, there leaned a tall, muscular person (if you could still call his type as such), his black hair in dreadlocks- Xaldin. His group had moved their base of operations into Kefka's Tower upon Maria's fusion with the Fae-Witch.

"I have to agree, but why did you invite those pointless extras, Kefka?" Kuja asked, hovering lightly in the corner opposite Seymour with his arms crossed as he glanced at the group of Nobodies who had allies with the Shapeshifter. "This is quite the cast. I didn't know we were giving roles to just anyone-"

"I'm surprised you don't already know, twinkle-toes!" Kefka replied, releasing another string of high-pitched laughter. "They've got a special guest star!"

"Indeed. In the midst of the battle at the castle, we managed to procure quite the aid," Xaldin said, smirking as he tapped the bookcase to his side. In a blur, the bookcase seemed to fade from existence- and in its place stood their 'guest'. "Someone the Earthlings are more likely to trust than either of you."

"Is that all I was called here for? An introduction?" responded the monotone voice of their newest ally, his visible sapphire eye narrowing at the group, the other hidden by a swoop of long steel-blue bangs.

[Ajora : Flying Dutchman : Captain's Quarters]

The brown-blond Replica kept his eyes closed, a faint smile playing across his lips as the melody off an eerie organ tune was played by none other that Davy Jones himself. Of course, he'd had to be persuaded into doing so, but not too difficultly. After all, when the person asking something of you happened to have your existence in his hands, you tended to listen.

His suffering, his anger, his sorrow... her betrayal...

For the briefest of moments, Ajora's mind was brought back to memories shared by himself and his original. He felt a tug at his heart. Felt something... warm. Something bright. He tensed, and his brown eyes grew black immediately, dousing out the speck of light, the compassion, in Darkness once again. He would not fall prey to such an obscenity as a conscience.

And once again, he reveled in the pain of Davy Jones.

The others were no more bound to this ship than he was, but he preferred to stay on it, to wait for his cue, the time to make his move. They'd done everything perfectly so far. They'd even caught the attention of villains rivaling their own darkness- Kefka and his brethren. They had bartered an alliance with the old hag, Lady Grey, and the other sadistic Nobodies. So, who was Ajora to deny the mutual friendship offered by the twisted clown?

Now, he was simply waiting. The troublesome originals would be drawn to them by that strange paper- he had faint memories of it telling them where they were needed- and with them, their payment to Davy. Jack Sparrow.

Of course, Ajora could have simply ordered Davy to do what was needed now. But the Replica was no fool- if you stay on good terms with the minions, there is a significant less chance of betrayal.

Unlike someone.

Calling forth an Invisible Heartless (he'd been practicing the whole 'Heartless' thing for awhile now- it wasn't all that difficult), he touched its forehead, imprinting the strange Command Seal and giving it purple pupils.

"Find Arabella. Keep her in your sights."

[Captain Hook : Hook's Ship]

"So, Aress, ya've got 2 other bilge rats to accompany ye. We've still not had the proper introduction," Hook said, eyes narrowing lightly at both Timmy and Alice as he spoke to Cory, still going by the alias Cory had originally given him.

[Cory .:. Hook's Ship]

"Proper introduction? What do you want from me, Hook? We got another Earthling and someone who could easily pass as an Earthling. Timmy, Alice, meet Captain Hook. Hook, meet the new members of the Forgotten Flock."
The renegade ronin looked up to he crow's nest impatiently before vanishing from sight, reappearing in the loft above the masts before shouting back down to his captain.

"Hook, we need to make for Halloween Town!" He burst back down to the deck and pointed in the direction he'd seen the town of everlasting frights before adding, "Last I checked, that's where those losers were heading. We have to make sure this ship keeps a close eye on them, that way we know what they're planning. And they always find a way to lead us into situations where treasure is on the list of possible rewards." He looked back to Timmy and Alice with an uncertain look on his face.

"Alice, you already know the ways of darkness, and when it comes down to it you might be stronger than me... Might." He turned his attention to Timmy now, a grin on his face as he said, "But you... You've still got your baby teeth when it comes to growth in darkness. Luckily for you, I've recently acquired an ability that will let you see first hand how Darkness works. From the eyes of a professional." He walked over to Timmy and placed a hand on his shoulder before saying, "We're both from Earth. We both know what's going on. I can use Drive now, Timmy. I can show you how to use Darkness by letting you use mine."

ɀ·ვ·ს·მ ჱ

ღ Halloween Town | Plaza :.

Puffing out her right cheek (a habitual action she did when bored), Zeba slouched on the ledge of the well, pushing aside all the memories that flooded her when they searched throw the ruins of the creepy-disabled-blue-duck-dude's lab.

Exhaling, the teen leaned forward and massaged her temples. She was overcome with the yearning for pleasures so long-forgotten; namely, her iPod and something sweet. "Ouaaaaaaaaaaah~," she moaned, smacking her head against the side of one of the two posts that jutted upwards. Rummaging through a pocket, she opened up the wallet and pulled a cookie out of it.

Lifting her head as Kyle called for Jenny, she quickly dropped it again, smacking the post with unintended vigor. Wincing at both the pain and her surfeit curiosity, she took a huge, manly chunk out of her cookie. Very, very manly. Very.

'It's not funneh!' she snapped as her summon began chuckling. 'IT'S NOT I SAY!' she bellowed, even though she couldn't help chuckling herself. Sniffing in mock sorrow as she tried in vain to silence her laughter, she tore another (less) manly morsel off her cookie and chewed it in a fashion she hoped would make her seem more serious. And manly. DAMN THE POWERS OF CHOCOLATE CHIP.

Well, not really~

[Jenny :: HT :: Plaza]

Having reverted back to her Halloween outfit, Jenny couldn't help but swing her arms and watch the tattered cloth billow out around her. It was a source of amusement to say the least but she knew it was going to get old fast. She tried looking for the Enchantress but after looking in a couple of barrels and behind some iron-wrought gates that held less than appealing insects, the flutist grew a bit disenchanted with the search.

With her mind milling about, she only faintly heard Kyle call her name with which she looked up startled, maybe a bit embarrassed for not really looking for the Enchantress. Her surprised expression quickly turned into one of questioning.

"Of course, what's up Kyle?" She walked over, actually it was more a mix between skipping and walking... again, for the billowy sleeves. Jenny fidgeted, twisting the dark grayish purple of her fabric trying to tone down her curiosity.

[Alice :: The Jolly Roger]

Alice looked to Hook and inclined her head only a tad, not really caring for introductions. He seemed to her like a wimp anyways, she didn't know what told her that, but it just felt like he was. Something in the back of her mind told her it was something her other half thought... but Alice quickly pushed that thought aside. She remained contemplative as Cory spoke until he mentioned her strength with darkness to which she lightly scowled.

"No, I am stronger than you." She corrected.

[Timmy : Hook's Ship]

The Earthling boy clicked his tongue in disgust as he was called a bilge rat by Hook. He wanted to walk away without introducing himself, but it was too late as Cory had proceeded to do all the introductions himself. "It's a pleasure to be aboard such a fine ship as the Jolly Rodger." He told the captain with a fake smile, while cringing in the inside. "I hope that we will be able to work well with each other." He bowed to the captain and proceeded to turn around and gave him the wave goodbye.

He looked over at Alice and felt a sudden headache come upon him. She reminds me too much of her... Such an eyesore, he thought to himself before snatching away his stare.

Suddenly Cory began to chat with Alice and himself. "I apologize Emperor Cory for not being up to par with you yet!" he said sarcastically. When he heard the word drive come out from his mouth, Timmy's interest perked. "Oh I see, so Drive is this secret ability that will help me speed up my growth in Darkness. You've just thought about everything out now haven't you!" He gave an applause to Cory. "Well if you don't mind, which you probably will, I'll just be waiting for your orders to move out." He said as he began to walk away from the conversation.

[Cory .:. Hook's Ship]

Cory waved away Alice's comment before saying, "Details, details. I have no interest in comparing the size of my ego to a woman of all things." He turned to see Timmy walking away and could only shake his head in disappointment.

"And here I thought you wanted power. I guess you are just another one of those losers."

[Timmy : Hook's Ship]

Timmy stopped dead in his tracks and turned back around. "I promise you right here and right now that I am not just another one of those losers! So what do you want me to do right now!?" He said with some anger in his voice. I swear, that this guy definitely knows how to get on my nerves... he thought while awaiting his next order.

[Cory .:. Hook's Ship]

Hook, line, and sinker.

"Oh, nothing. You go get your beauty sleep, Timtim. I'll come for you when I think you're ready to experience this darkness. Besides, what would we spar with? The stuffed bunny?"
The renegade ronin cracked his knuckles before bursting back up to the crow's nest. He leaned over the edge and shouted down to the deck, "Everyone get some rest! We've got a plot to impede!"

[Kyle : HT : Plaza]

As Jenny walked over, Kyle couldn't help but feel... nervous. Anxious. Which, to his analytic mind, meant one of two things, both of which were entirely possible. One, he was cured of the empathy-thing and he was anxious to find out, thus proving he was in fact cured, or Two, he was simply feeling what Jenny was feeling as he'd called to her strangely.

I have to know. I have to know if it's possible... if it's true.

As the Time Mage neared, he tried to control his breathing, making it steady- perhaps too steady. Perhaps not steady enough? Oh, what did it matter.

"Jenny... what does my heartsong sound like?" he asked, his voice softened to a whisper. He didn't want to alert the others, especially with Sora hanging right above him. Ultima had revealed to him that Jenny knew about his condition, having asked the Time Mage herself back in Narnia. She had revealed that it was a strange collaboration, apparently. That meant if it were normal again... if it were his own song...

I could be me again.

[Jenny :: HT :: Plaza]

Jenny blinked for a moment before a smile came to her face. She breathed a sigh of relief, not even knowing why she was tense in the first place. She closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on the threads of music that flowed through her head. Of course Kyle's was the loudest, being the closest in proximity. However, what surprised her was that his song wasn't just a mesh of everyone else's. The mage did a double take, sifting through the rest of the songs before coming back to where she was before.

The song felt so new, having been accustomed to the mix of other songs that his song usually consisted of. "Your heartsong sounds like... you. Flowy and... nervous. Yeah, you definitely sound nervous. But ultimately, it's you." Jenny responded, her excitement growing as she opened her eyes. Why didn't she notice? She smiled broadly, re-adapting herself to the gentle piano.

[Alice :: The Jolly Roger]

The animator shot Cory a dirty look, but said nothing as she dangled her legs over the railing of the ship. She was quite confident that Alys could pummel Cory's sorry butt any day, but she wasn't in the mood to spar. Yet the last thing she felt like doing was resting, in fact, she felt quite restless. Something was bubbling in her mind, maybe the impending confrontation with her other half?

"You guys can rest." Alice murmured quietly in reply as she felt boredom sink in on her. She twirled her fingers aimlessly in the air, causing the buckets across the deck to correspond in a dance.

[Kyle : HT : Plaza]

Kyle exhaled sharply- he hadn't realized he'd been holding his breath. It was normal. It was his own song. His heart was his own, he felt what he wanted, he controlled himself, he was no longer bound to everyone else-

He exhaled again. Again, he'd been holding his breath.

His eyes were rushing back and forth, testing it, as if it were too good to be true. He thought of things that would normally bring up excitement- he had magic powers. He was legally a genius (not that law mattered anymore). Neither actually helped, because neither held meaning to him.

His brother was dead.

NO.

His brother wasn't dead! His brother was lost to the Darkness! His brother was somewhere in the void, the limbo, waiting for Earth to be returned to normal! Just like Selphie, like Wakka, like Tidus, like Sora's mother! Josh was alive, and he was going to rescue him!

That's right! These powers, these gifts- and I have all of these people to help me! He's still alive, and I'll bring him back!

And then he felt it. His own Light. No one else's, his own. A fierce determination.

Another sharp exhale. And quickly, he glanced to Jenny, his eyes seeming a bit redder than they'd been before, but there was no otehr signs of what may have been sorrow. Instead, with a wide grin on his features, he leapt up and took her into his arms, picking the small girl up and spinning around, as happy as the rational-minded male could show.

"Well, that takes something off of my mind!" he said, placing the girl down with a smile plastered on his face. Before anyone could ask what was up, however, he decided to cut them off. "I'm sure everything's gonna be fine, guys, he's definitely underground, we just gotta wait for Jack to tell us where exactly. We'll be able to save the Enchantress, I'm sure of it."

[Cory .:. Hook's Ship .:. Crow's Nest]

The renegade ronin sat over the edge of the bucket situated high above the rest of the ship. The wind blew back his hair and jacket as he grinned at the vast landscape before him, the people and animals far below looking like nothing but ants to him. In a flash, it all changed.

The sky cracked open like stained glass, as though the reality above had always been false. He stared through the crack at the fiery sky above it, taking note of the thing he could see flying around above. The black thunder clouds began to pour from the crack, bringing with it the demons and fire that existed above the false sky. Soon, large, grotesque tendrils powered down through the glass-like blue sky, tearing more holes in Cory's reality. The spires dug deep into the ground below, followed by more fire from beneath the earth. Creatures of a hellish nature began to claw their way from the disturbed dirt around the tendrils, making their unholy presence known to even the Jolly Roger that sailed the now blistered heavens.**

Cory could only grin and sit back, the black and blue fire of his Indomitable Will growing around him out of reflex. "Ah... Even when the world turns to hell... Here I know I have to power to protect myself. Even if this is real I have no fear of it, because I'm strong here. And I'll use this strength to keep... This world the way it is." The renegade ronin got to his feet, standing on the edge of the crow's nest and watching the personal hell unfold before him.

"The Forgotten Flock's goal is the keep the world as it is. Mine... Heh... hehe.... Ha... Hahaha... AHAHAHAHAHA!" The ronin couldn't help but laugh as he burst into flames again, the Indomitable Will once again reacting without his command.
