sorry for the delay but here are 2 of my 3 chars. I will play three characters of Lycon like I said. One for each tribe that become avalable, so there will always be one represented. To start Uurfu will be the onyl one active, but the other will come in as the story goes on. I will play all once all are active and try and keep them apart, but one never knows.

Gaia Username: Ronyo Storm

Character Name: Uurfu Silvanus

Occupation: Hunter/ Scout

Tribe: Fenrir

Age Class: Young

Age: 40

Appearance: Uurfu is leaner than most of his pact but prefers it that way. He stays that way so he can ran through the trees easier and it works better with his fighting style. His fur is a dark grey with browns, blacks, and spots of white trimming areas. His eyes are circled in the brown and that line of fur sweeps down his muzzle in two lines to his nose. He always wears his dark green cloak with its deep hood for when he’s stalking among the trees. His quiver, always full, is strapped to his back and helps keep his cloak closer about him. Under his cloak he wears a light leather vest with extra padding on his shoulders. His right arm bares a leather gauntlet and his hand a leather glove with his ring and little finger bare. His left arm is wrapped tight with cloth up to his elbow to prevent his arm being rubber raw from fire to many arrows. He wears loose leather pants secured by a dark green sash about his waist, and on the sash a small sword belt holds two curved short swords fixed closer to his back. His bow is always in one of his hands and ready to be brought to bear at a moment’s notice.

Personality: Uurfu Silvanus is what you would think of with a scout. He keeps to himself and prefers a solo trek through the woods rather than in the company of his pack. The hunter often will stay out of political affairs within the Fenrir tribe and lets the elders take care of it. He is still a youngling but close to entered his mature stage, so he is still treated as a lower ranked member as of now. Uurfu is not overly fond of humans and sees the vampires as nothing but a disease set upon this world to be whipped out.

Biography: Uurfu is as common in terms of Lycons as it comes. He was born into the Fenrir tribe and raised to understand a balance between themselves and nature. He was allowed to choose his path once he reached his young stage. Young Silvanus picked the roll of a hunter and scout so he could have more time to himself. Unlike the other pups Uurfu did not play with the others and scuffle as was the norm. He preferred to sit in the woods and just listen to the sounds that came forth. In the forest alone, Uurfu is at his most peaceful and often will drift off when nothing important is pressing. Uurfu has killed many lower ranking vampires on his solo outings but never anything strong enough to give him a challenge. He understands his role as an archer and knows to pick his shots and only start what he can finish. His twin blades he carries get little use but he understands their dance fully and practices with them almost as much as he does with his bow. However Uurfu again understands his blades are his last resort and that if they get pulled he is in trouble.

Gaia Username: Ronyo Storm

Character Name: Wullf Maximas

Occupation: Guardian

Tribe: Wulver

Age Class: Mature

Age: 50

Appearance: Wullf stands proud at seven feet tall, with his gray furred mane waving in the plains winds. His muzzle has a shading of white as does the area around his eyes, which shine a soft blue to his alleys but seem like the cold eyes of death to his foes. His hands, feet, chest, and the tip of his bushy tail also bare this slight white coating. This guardian of the Plains Striders always wears his black leather tunic which is held tight to his waist by a large metal ribbed belt with a dragon face adorning the buckle. Hanging off the belt is Wullf’s fabled sword resting within its wooden and leather sheath. The guard is that of a tribal wolf head facing forward, with the ears pointing to the blade. The blade is something that looks crafted by nature itself and not a Lycan blacksmith. The sword his single edged but the edge dips and curves along the four feet of steel, and then dips and curves along a different path down the dull back end. The handle is wrapped in simple leather which is capped at the end with a sold sphere pommel. Wullf dawns faded tan pants that have leather padding in knees. Black leather ankle guards keep his pants tight around his bare feet while he runs across the flat plains. His arms also bare the black leather armor with silver dragons etched into them.

Personality: The humble guardian takes an almost naïve look on life. For a Lycan his age most other tribesman thinks him odd indeed. Wullf harbors no malice towards humans and little towards vampires. He fights when he is needed but it’s obvious his outlook is from something else. Many say his outlook comes from his years watching the “war” go on and no real winner come about, but most, manly the elders, know it is from a mission he took when he was but a youngling. After that Wullf has looked at vampires in a different light, and his tolerance of humans is based on the humans who raised him before the Wulver found him. Through this Wullf can come off a bit too carefree at times and seem to find the positive in most situations. Be that as it may, anyone to get on the wrong side of his blade best be praying to whomever they believe created them.
Biography: The Lycan known as Wullf Maximas is known to his tribesman also as Silver-Fang Dragulf, but many call him by his first given name. Wullf was orphaned when a vampire raiding party took out his family’s small tribe near where the plains and forest meet. Wullf had barley been born when this happened and had little say in the matter, his mother hid him away before the tribe was overrun and later found by a traveling scalar and a monk. The scalar found Wullf and immediately fell in love with the puppy appearance of the adolescent Lycan. The scalar began to raise Wullf as her own, and the monk, the scalar’s husband, likewise took the pup on as his child. This is when the pup that would become Wullf got his more human style name and surname. The name Wullf was given as a way to lighten the idea of taking a Lycan as a child and the surname Maximas was because as all parents, Wullf’s foster ones believed him destined for great things. Once the Lycan reached ten years his father, the monk, began teaching him the ways of the warrior and how to defend himself, and his mother, the scalar, began teaching him the ways of the world. At twenty Wullf began wondering about his true race and calling and set out in search of them. Soon enough he came upon the main Wulver tribe and was received with mixed feelings. Most thought it odd that a Lycan would be raised by humans but the elders saw this as a hopeful blessing. However Wullf had to prove himself and find his true lineage. He was sent on a personal mission to track down and kill a vampire that had been seen in the area. By all accounts the vampire was not a immediate threat but all vampires were seen as enemies waiting to strike. By completing his task Wullf would be granted his family’s surname and given a proper Lycan name. After many weeks Wullf found the vampire but did not find an enemy but a female vampire who was doing her best to survive without resulting in feeding off humans. She was weak and had little in the way of combat skills but was still a vampire. Wullf remembered his foster parent’s teachings of right and wrong and honor a found his mission conflicting with his beliefs, so Wullf did not kill the vampire but forged a friendship with the vampire, however the female vampire’s original retainers found her and after a long and difficult battle killed Wullf’s friend and almost did the same to him. Returning to the tribe Wullf reported his mission as a success by accounting one of the retainer vampires he had killed as the one he was sent after. As promised Wullf was given his true surname, Dragulf, and a proper Lycan name, Silver-Fang, but knowing he truly had not completed his mission he asked to be called Wullf by everyone with the reason being he had simply gotten use to it. Also as a reward Wullf was given his families sword which he now wears. After that Wullf has lived as one of the tribe’s guardsman who run across the plains watching for vampires. He visits his foster parents often and the small grave he made for his vampire friend.

I'm tempted to make an eccentric werewolf. Just so I can bend more of Teddo's rules. And I still haven't made good on my promise to proofread anything in the guild. Maybe I just like the status. I'll get around to that sometime. xp

All the lycans have been approved.

Now for me to check what mischief you are getting into in the RP...

Hello everyone :3

Username: Elvyre
Character Name: Anastacia
Occupation: Songstress
Clan: Lilitu
Age Class: Young
Age: 98
Appearance: Anastacia 's shape is much like that of a pixie's. She looks small and dainty but is much stronger than she allows to let on (although, she isn't one to start doing laborious work). A set of ebony wings that look much like that of a bat's, protrude from her slim back. They're tiny enough to keep hidden within her dress allowing her to look like a normal child. Her eyes are most commonly gray, but when she is hungry they'll turn into a more metallic silver color. Her face is smooth and cherubic with perennial youth. Anastacia has strawberry blond hair that has grown out to such an exceptional length, that she keeps it constantly tied up in two black bows. Her outfits frequently switch from time to time, because of boredom. Most of them look the same because they consist of frills, bows, tulles, and stockings.
Personality: Anastacia is very polite (with words) to everyone. Despite the amount of time she has known a person she'll add Mr./Ms. to their name. If she doesn't know someone she'll address them with Mister or Missus . Whenever faced with a problematic situation she openly consults with her rabbit doll, Faust. Anastacia rarely takes responsibility for her mistakes and will blame it on Faust.
She is very clingy to anyone that may speak to her. Her needs are never satisfied, she is almost constantly lonesome and lusting. When she'll meet someone new she may begin to plot ways to seduce them for blood/soul. The most common way Anastacia will allure her victim is by her singing. Singing is her means of getting by in money senses and for what her body hungers for. She is not afraid to pilfer something if it intrigues her.
Biography: Over the past 98 years of her life Anastacia has been allowed to see many things, but tends to see that the flow of time is much too unsettlingly rapid. Anastacia is bit of a vagrant. She has never been truly allowed to call some place a 'home'. She often drifts from one town to another in the middle of the night trying to find her ideal dwellings. When she was first created, all she would do was consume person after person. Now she is able to control her never quenching hunger and need for someone. Her 'taste' for people has matured and developed over the past decades.
Faust, her rabbit doll, came along about a decade after she was created from a young man. He offered it to her seeing how much she had wished to have it. She thanked him by sparing his life, and named the doll after the man eventually turned old and passed on. Anastacia sees this Faust as a real person. She can have long a engaging conversation with him for at least three days before tiring. She has owned him for more than half of her life, thus she depends on him.
Currently Anastacia has been living in the Falacia for five years. This has been the second longest place she has stayed in. She has no home but well than enough money to buy several homes just from singing on corners of the street. She lives on the streets and off of the people.

I'm too lazy to go back and read through the entire guild to find what I'm looking for, so I have a question: Are the Lycans werewolves or just wolfmen? Because your descriptions say nothing about biting or attacking people to make more Lycans, but I want to clarify before I go making one. So do they sexually reproduce or do they just turn humans into Lycans?

PostPosted: Thu Sep 11, 2008 2:15 pm
This is just the way I've been seeing it, although you would want a second opinion from Ronyo, who is the resident expert on lycans.

Lycans are lycans, they don't turn people. They reproduce.

Okay, so they're not 'werewolves'. I'm about to submit two character profiles, just a heads-up in case you read this before I manage to get them in. ;D

PostPosted: Thu Sep 11, 2008 11:02 pm
All right, here they are, copypasta'd straight from Notepad. 8D

I can't countenance having a single character any longer, so I'm submitting profiles for two more so that I can entertain myself. Perhaps they'll go somewhere else later.

Gaia Username: Ikken Isshu
Character Name: Eric LaRoche
Occupation: N/A
Clan: Malkavian
Age Class: Young/Mature
Age: Approximately 100 (as a vampire); he stopped keeping track about ten years after he was turned.
Appearance: Of average build and average appearance, Eric is not the type to draw stares or even second glances from anyone around him. His hair is brown, as are his eyes, though they have an unusual pinkish tint. His skin is not even as surreally smooth as most vampires; lack of blood does make him very pale (though he rarely goes an entire night without feeding several times), but his complexion is far from marble or stone, being more like the average human in that respect. When lucid and sane, his short hair is either combed back or to the side, but when he lapses into his bursts of what he calls 'inspiration', it can be flung wildly anywhere.
Personality: His madness - for like most of his clan, he is indeed mad - comes in swells, and in his more lucid moments, one would almost never know he was even a vampire, let alone a Malkavian. But the depravity of his insanity goes to deep, deep levels, and as such, whenever it emerges, someone is almost certain to die. Eric is extremely fond of toying with his food, and he fancies the blood tastes better when it is taken in fear. He has committed acts which only the most placid and zenlike could forgive, and he will commit more - and worse - before his time on this earth is up.
Biography: As far as anyone knows, Eric showed up in Falacia about twenty years ago. He's periodically appeared around town since then, always in the midst of some scheme or other, always repulsing the vampires who became aware of what he was doing. He doesn't associate with other Malkavians because he finds them crude and disgusting, but he doesn't associate with any other vampires because he finds them haughty and snobbish and stupid. Instead, he surrounds himself with humans and, oddly enough, a Lycan who he has been toying with for over a decade now.
Notes: Eric's deeper motives, if he has any, are an absolute mystery. Periodically he enacts some scheme which doesn't seem to make any sense at all - but then, he is insane. His bloodlust and the delight he takes in fear know no bounds. He has even fed on several vampires in the past, for he loves the thrill of 'raping' someone on his own level, one of his own kind.

Gaia Username: Ikken Isshu
Character Name: Calder Johannessen
Occupation: N/A (Self-imposed exile)
Tribe: Fenrir
Age Class: Young
Age: 23
Appearance: Short and of slight build, especially for a Lycan, Calder has very little physical prowess when he is not enhancing it with his inherent magical abilities. He could be easily overpowered by almost any Lycan. His fur/hair is short and reddish-brown, but dark, giving him decent camouflage in the nighttime hours; his eyes are golden and seem to shine even in darkness.
Personality: Immature in the literal rather than comic sense of the word, Calder has a very simplistic but pessimistic view of the world, based only on what he has seen of it, which is not much. He is very mentally and emotionally unstable, and can be very unpredictable at times. While usually seeming little more than an angsty and lonely boy, he can, like his de facto mentor, lapse into periods of complete and utter insanity. He has never approached the extremes of LaRoche, but he has had his share of rampages, usually ending with him barricaded within an abandoned building while angry city-dwellers furiously searched for a way in to hunt him down. LaRoche has never failed to protect Calder if his life was in danger, but beyond that, the vampire has done little more than to warp the mind of this young Lycan.
Biography: Calder spent a good ten years with his tribe of Fenrir Lycans several miles from Falacia, but due to the meddlings of the vampire Eric LaRoche, he fell away from his tribe and became mentally and emotionally unstable before he could form a good foundation of belief and purpose with his tribe. He eventually left his tribe - and they renounced him as one of their own - to go and live in the city, despite the miserable existence this promised for him. Eric LaRoche has already devastated this young Lycan's mind, but continues to toy with him and torment him, for no apparent purpose other than his own sick amusement.

only comment is stop doing the "he stopped counting" for his age. just put a damn number rolleyes
PostPosted: Tue Sep 16, 2008 7:53 am
No offense intended, but I honestly find it funny that people do that. I can understand and find it believable that a character may choose to stop counting or simply ignore it altogether, but you as the owner should still know a number. obviously, Ikken, You clarify, so this comment isn't really aimed at you. It's more aimed at all those roleplayers you come across that put stopped counting or doesn't remember, and then gives you an estimate or nothing at all.

Whether or not they stopped counting doesn't mean that they have no age, and that sort of comment is more of a personality trait. It doesn't mean you can simply walk around with an undeclared age. Imagine if someone did that for EVERYTHING. It'd look something like this...

The Amnesiac

Name: Doesn't Remember
Age: Stopped counting after 20; about 100.
Gender: Is confused
Height: Stopped measuring after five feet. Maybe six feet tall.
Weight: Never measured; is too afraid of finding out she's overweight.
.........

See what I mean? These are PERSONALITY TRAITS, they aren't the numbers that the creator requested. So what if s/he doesn't remember his/her name? S/he STILL HAS A NAME. We don't care if you stopped counting, there's still a number of candles we need to put on your cake. Regardless of your sexual preferences or ambiguities, you still have a gender. You still have a set height, even if you don't bother to measure, and no matter what you do, you still have a certain weight on the planet Earth (and I have yet to enter an RP that uses gravity dissimilar to Earth's). And so on...

Sorry, I just had a strong compulsion to rant. Ikken, I'd like to remind you that this is not at all intended for you, simply that you said "he stopped counting" and that reminded me of people that do stupid s**t like what I mentioned. You still gave a number, so it's all good. Might I recommend that you tell us he stopped counting in his personality or history rather than in his age?

"stopped measuring after five feet"

golden. Just golden.

It really feels like you copy/pasted this out of something on Barton Town.

Ah~h, all of your carefully chosen arguments are very impressive, but miss one rather important point.

Just who, exactly, did you say needs to be putting birthday candles on a cake for Eric? I thought it went without saying that nobody, including Eric himself, is quite certain on his age except that it is somewhere near one hundred and thirty years or so (given that he has lived around a hundred years old and was presumably not an infant when he was turned). And since he has no close friends or even acquaintances, I can't conceive of a single feasible situation in which his precise age could possibly matter, unless you (the proverbial 'you', not the specific 'you') were planning on introducing a character with intimate knowledge about Eric - in which case I would ask you to consult with me before doing so at all, and I could tell you (the proverbial 'you') privately what his age is.

Have you ever read Interview with the Vampire? If you did, then I invite you to consider that you read that entire novel with only a vague idea of exactly how old Louis was, and it didn't cripple the story in the least. In fact, I'd wager that most of the books you've ever read didn't give you any more than a vague idea of the characters' ages. I daresay this story will go perfectly well without ever needing to reveal just how old a particular crazy vampire happens to be.

Boil all of that down to a point, and that point would be thus: It doesn't matter what his age is, precisely because nobody knows.

EDIT: All of that said, if you absolutely can't stomach the idea of my having more than one vampire with an indeterminate age, then change Caecus's age to 177. I think it would make more sense for there to be a solid number on Caecus than on Eric.
